Was there no explanation of why they cancelled? That is a lot of miles between the 2 airports. I thought legally they had to book you on the next available flight?
Hi and thanks for your comment 😂 they said this was due to aircraft service ability. They didn’t have any available seats until next week so Philadelphia option was the only one we could take. We have just claimed compensation and all additional expenses including taxi from Gatwick to Heathrow and as you will see on my next episode our suitcases didnt arrive so we had to get some clothes and toiletries. The claim is still under the review so we should find out in a few days if they going to pay anything back.
@@wellardsmith3629 we did few claims with BA in the past and never had any problems, saying that this one takes a bit longer than expected for some reason lol fingers crossed they will pay us back

BA will pay £520 each plus the taxi to Heathrow. So £1040 takes the edge off it.
I’m also hoping they will pay back our expenses for some toiletries and some clothes as we arrived without suitcases following their delay at Heathrow
BA is crap. BA Flight cancellations are normal.
