    Join me in another travel series as I fly from London Gatwick to Orlando, Florida.
    Today is travel day and I am trying out Norse Atlantic. I was lucky to have a little bit of extra room on this flight. I had a really good flight, the food was a lot better than I expected, and it was a pleasant experience overall.
    I hope you enjoy this vlog, and be sure to come back for more fun!

    The problem with Norse is that they charge you for everything I might try it out though just because it will be fun.

      If you pick the second level up that includes a checked bag, carry on and first meal. Only other thing missing is the second meal. Which is why I picked up food at the airport! It was a really good flight otherwise!

      It’s not a problem. You buy what you want or you upgrade. At the end of the day you’ll get great service at a cost less than the legacy carriers.

      Hey! Sure! This flight was £435 return including 23kg checked luggage, 10kg, hand luggage, 1 personal item, and one on board meal. The previous BA flight was around £560. Apart from the extra meal, I didn’t find too much difference to be honest!

      Was Norse strict about your personal item? Did they measure it?

      They wasn’t on this trip as the flight wasn’t very full. I have since flown with them and they didn’t check on the way out again due to not being busy but they was checking it fit inside the dimensions on the way home, but never checked the weight.

      @@LifeOfGarywas it the old dimensions or the insanely small ones? (Thanks for your video, I’m flying with them soon)

      I took a pretty full Herschel backpack as my personal item and that was fine. And no problem at all! :)

    Norse having no moving map in the IFE system is disappointing

      True, but it’s worth it to save a couple hundred lol

    Wondering how would you rate the flight with Norse vs a BA Flight for long Haul

    • @LifeOfGary
      @LifeOfGary  Месяц назад +1

      Personally I think I would say it’s about on par with BA, apart from not including the second meal service and included drinks. I recently flew with virgin to Florida and Norse was above the quality I received from virgin to be totally honest!

      @@LifeOfGary thanks really useful information we’re looking for August next year so just wondering cause Norse seems to be cheaper

      Glad I could help. Make sure you select the right ticket for you. As the cheapest ticket option only comes with a personal item I believe. I went for the second economy ticket up which included a 23kg checked case, a 10kg carry on, one personal item and one in flight meal. :) but overall they can be a lot cheaper depending on the time of year.
