It is for sure not only for t-shirts! Think it should work on a stuffed animal too but I can't say for sure because I haven't tried! Did you try yet? Let me know if it worked
Hiii! I have not tried this myself so maybe test it first on scrap fabric BUT I would first spray a layer of WHITE color shot on the flash stencil and then spray the yellow on top of the white (once the white dries) !!!! Good luck! Thanks for watching :)
Im especially curious about the glitter fabric spray, does it work? How's it look after washing, I'm on a time crunch for a piece and need to know if this works or I'm gonna be up with beads and sequins lmk thanks!
Hm.. you can feel it SLIGHTLY but not in an overwhelming way. After a couple washes i feel like mine sort of solidified into the shirt and i can feel it WAY WAY WAY less.
I like the way the bag turned out . you made something cool out of it. I used some tonight on a tshirt using a cat silhouette so it yeah got all over but was cool. Then im goingto go out to the laundry roomand see if it sprayed onother areas.
Hi! How big is the area you want to cover? I think there are a lot of components to this question 😂 1. If your couch can be easily moved.. this is something I would do outdoors because the smell is a little intense and I wouldn't want my pets (if you have pets) near it when you first spray! If this is for a very small area I bet it would work great.. like to cover a stain or something. With that being said, I haven't tried using it on any furniture but I'm sure you could reach out to the company and ask them! ☺️
I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond. Have to I tried yet ?? There is a slight texture but the more you wash the item the more it starts to just feel like part of the shirt! It really is a fav product of mine!
Great video! I’m thinking of doing this with my clothing brand but how do the shirts come out after you wash it multiple times? And is there a specific way to wash it to make sure it doesn’t fade away?
hmmm no! I didn't even think to do that actually.. I am not sure how it would react. BUT i will say I did this again yesterday on another shirt and didn't have any bleeding. I just kept some thick cardboard in between my shirt when i sprayed and when it was drying! and thank you =)
So we just bought a used camper that has a thick canvas material on one of the walls… it has stains on it from age and I was looking to use these (the color white) over the brown canvas… do you think it’ll work? Will it probably bleed through to the outside?
@@MaddCrafty I tested it on some scrap before moving to the big piece. I did have to apply some regular acrylic paint as a base coat for the fabric spray to adhere to cuz it would just soak into the fabric and wouldn’t show. 2-3 coats of the base then a few coats of the spray and the color came out the way I wanted it to. Only downside is the acrylic paint made the fabric a bit stiff. It’s not entirely bad but the fabric’s flexibility changed. This would likely be fine if it’s small designs on a project but what I was doin was on a much bigger scale (had to paint half of a banner). The paint didn’t chip when it moved though so it held up well. I’ll see how it fairs down the line in case the acrylic starts to crack or anything
Hey Maddcrafty can u show me how u did your dog stencil. I just lost my dog after 18 years on October 29, 2020 and I really do miss him a lot he was my baby
I’m so sorry... Sending love ❤️ Do you have a cricut? I used a close up photo of my dog (you have to try a few different photos until you get one you like) and then I upload them on this website picsvg.com/ Once I played around and found an SVG that I liked... I uploaded it to my cricut and then cut it out! If you have a cricut and need more help let me know
Can you use this spray to fix a accident. I didn’t know my hubby threw his favorite hoodie in washer( which is solid color). I threw in whites and not it looks like a the dye hoodie. I have never had success with liquid dye’s. Any suggestions?
Hey Maria! I think this spray is great for that kind of accident AS LONG AS ITS THE EXACTTTT same color. IF not.. it may end up looking more obvious. I suggest trying it on a very small section first!!! I cant make any promises though ha. I have never tried it with a stain! Good luck!!
@Reality the2nd i tried this and have washed a shirt about 10 times it hold up I turn inside out and was in cold water when It’s dry it’s heavy on the fabric . Don’t really like it . I used easy subli and it is light on the shirt and hold up on the wash
I LOVE the idea of making a stencil out of your dogs face. How did you do it?! It came out so stinkin cute!!! I bought a cricut a couple months ago so I’m a beginner 🤗
Marlene Roman Hey Marlene! Yes! What you do is turn your photo into an SVG file. This is really easy but I will say that some photos just look better than others .. so before you start gather maybe 3-4 diff pics of your dog so you can see that some (because of lighting and angle) will come out better! There are many ways to do it but I really like this video. This woman used an app... but I used a website. The key is to play around a lot with diff photos. Also on cricut you can upload your own images so that is how I got it on there. I use the eraser tool as well as the contour tool once my image was on cricut to take out any SUPER SMALL pieces as those aren’t great for stencils. I just make sure it still looks like my dog! This will make more sense when you watch a video about it .... Here are both options!! 👌🏻❤️ ruclips.net/video/MgRIoEuFRpk/видео.html What I use: picsvg.com/
Hey! It depends on what size cans you get. The mini ones you could prob do 2 shirts. But the regular sized cans I would estimate 5-6 depending on how large your graphic is. (Although that is just my estimation) - I’d say contact TULIP directly, they will totally help you out!
Hi! Im not doing a project per se but I was looking at reviews for this brand of paint because I recently bought a can of it in black. A few bleach spots got on my favorite black shirt and I’m trying to restore it. Do you think this will work?
I think you would have a better outcome with the tulip fabric PAINT vs the spray.. only because that way.. you could directly paint it on the white spot.. rather than spraying and sort of going everywhere (that happens sometimes)... but with that being said I think the only thing to do is test it out on something you don’t care about first!!! 👍🏻 good luck!!!
Hi! Does this product have a smell to it after it dries? Im thinking about using it to shimmer a pair of suede earrings and wondering if that would work. Thank you!
Hey Kate! I Always leave my projects outside to air out/dry out - so they do NOT have a smell. But when I am spraying there is DEFF a strong odor but it totally goes away! I would say maybe test it out just in case on some scrap suede just to be sure 🙂 but for me, the smell always went away!
@@MaddCrafty I tried this stuff earlier today. It let out a heavy heavy spray. Did you have the same experience? It looks like it on the video but I can't really tell. 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤ when you said "i got a bunch o colorz I'm really excited" I just instinctly smashed the like button! ❤🤣
Haha thank you!!!
Thank you for this video, just got some was wanting to see how to use it. Your tips are great.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
Would you recommend using this Tulip Fabric Spray Paint on a douglas stuffed animal with very short fur? And Is it only for t-shirts?
It is for sure not only for t-shirts! Think it should work on a stuffed animal too but I can't say for sure because I haven't tried! Did you try yet? Let me know if it worked
Doing a Flash shirt. What would you recommend for the Yellow paint going on a Red shirt? Thanks Maddie, great video!

Hi! That's me in the comments replying from my other RUclips channel haha
Thank you for your it was very helpful..
Glad it was helpful! I still use color shot to this day!!
I got some of this at Joanne Fabrics. I like it a lot and I would love to learn more about how to use it properly, hahah.
Wonderful! Their Color Shot Sprays are my FAVORITE!
Wow, great ideas that will keep me from screwing something up. Keep up great work! From Florida.
Thank you Leah Allen!!!! ☺️

Does the spray colour become a layer that you can feel, or is the more like classic immersion dye which simply changes the colour of the fabric?
Hm.. you can feel it SLIGHTLY but not in an overwhelming way. After a couple washes i feel like mine sort of solidified into the shirt and i can feel it WAY WAY WAY less.
@@MaddCrafty Okay; that sounds good. Thanks for replying. :)

Can I use it on jacket?
I don't see why not! ☺️

not crusty! deff a different texture but i would deff not use the word hard or crusty! =)
