Reminder: after painting, please let the clothes dry out naturally for about a week, and then wash them !It’s very important!
If you want to better retain the color of clothes, it is recommended not to machine dryer painting clothes. After machine drying clothes many times, the colors will become less bright. It can be dried in the sun, and the color of clothes can be retained for a longer time. In fact, as with other clothes purchased, drying clothes for a long time will make the patterns dull and old.

I SERIOUSLY SALUTE YOU FOR THE HARDWORK YOU HAVE DONE, JUST TO HELP EVERYONE REGARDING PAINTING ON FABRIC. AND YOUR SKILLS ARE VERY FANTASTIC AS WELL . THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR HELPING OUT EVERYONE.
@King Joker Both men and women have thier own advantages respectively bro😇👍🏻
@King Joker As I said..both have their advantages. Comparing both of them will be useless because both are unique in their own way...that's why both are dependent and independent at the same time. And regarding abilities, Women have different and men different. Comparing two different qualities will result in nothing but arguing.👍🏻
Men can never be greater then women and women can never be greater than men because both are leaders in their own way.

Hi...I have been using acrylic paint on fabric....I always iron the painted area after drying by keeping a fine cotton cloth...the paint has never cracked or fainted...do try
What's your whole process tho? All those dry times etc?
How long do you iron it bro helpp haha
Even I do the same ... Iron the part wher U have painted wile keeping a cotton cloth 👍
@@GABOVERDOSE I felt that "bro help"
@@artfulj885 you mean put a cotton cloth on the top of the painted area then iron it?
@@frichzynicoleanito8460 try parchmemt paper instead. Sometimes the cloth can be ironed to the painted parts and pull up some paint if you arent careful.
For acrylic, you need to let them 4/5 days before you wash and mix with fabric medium so it can help the acrylic stay longer. Fabric mediums make acrylic paint more flexible and thus more durable.
What is febric medium?
@@sadiaafrin8873 Because basically acrylic paint isn't for fabric, we need a medium between acrylic and textiles(fabric). A fabric medium is a product that can turn acrylic paint into more elastic, less rigid, less cracked and can be used on a cloth or something like that. Therefore, acrylics can be more attached to fabric and more durable
True but on denim i think pure acrylic is better
@@arunii2823 ithought heat set works
Can I use mod podge on fabric as a medium?
For acrylic paint: I guess you need to add a white paint before adding assorted colors of acrylic paint and also add another layer of it.
Yep
Won't that make it harder to paint coz the other colours will mix with white

You're an amazing artist by the way 😃👍

@@JuneArtDIY really in a single time u did super well
I airbrush with acrylic. After painting it with acrylic put it in a heat press or a clothes dryer to set the paint. The paint heats up and sets into the fabric. It will never fade once this process is done. Hope it's helpful
Thank you
I painted on fabric but it was too rough you know ... How can i make it soft ??
Can you use an iron?
Hi. Can you use an iron/heater to set the paint?
Yes you can use an Iron. Just put a piece of parchment paper on top of the design then Iron away to set the paint. Make sure if the material is used to iron it first so all the fibers are laying down. New material you don't have to do this process. Happy Painting
I’m impressed all that elbow grease u put into scrubbing & wringing them out, color still looks as good as new 😉
Immediately subscribe to you! Thank you for the effort of really showing that you thoroughly wash the clothes to assure us if it would fade or not. Plus the designs you made are 👌😍. They're all very beautiful.

Read the labels. One is clearly marked watersouble. It is why you can use soap and water to wash it off. Do not let all your hard work wash down the drain.
Thank you so much this was really helpful!!
The jacket looks incredible
First of all if you are going to paint on a thin flexible fabric like t shirt fabric you either have to dilute your acrylic paint with half water half acrylic paint or mix the acrylic paint with fabric medium.Otherwise the painting on the t shirt will turn out as stiff as a board. You should only paint with undiluted acrylic paint on stiff fabrics like canvas or denim.
Aggressive clothes watching is what the algorithm showed me today
Beautiful paintings, great job!
This video is a big help! Thanks so much
Thank you so much!
My fabric paint is really thick so its hard to get a nice and even layer, I usually use an airbrush medium for acrylics to thin out the color, can I do that for fabric paint as well?

Wow.....it looks different!!
You need to heat set acrylic paint with an iron to keep it safe from washing out. At least that's what my mom and Gramma taught me
how?
@@liuuuuuuu you cover the design with a bit of cotton and go over for about ten minutes on the the appropriate setting for the fabric you're using.
I just bought the arteza fabric paint set, and my question is, should i wait for each layer to dry before adding another ? Also, how long did you waited before you washed your shirts?
Yes,you should wait for each layer to dry before adding another color.and I Alway wait about 4days to natural dry and then wash the clothes.
@@JuneArtDIY I see , thank you so much !
This video seems so helpful, great job! 👏👏👏 Two days ago I repainted my Espadrillo shoes with new colors and details, and yesterday I repainted my Angry Birds plushie eyes, since they’re almost faded. I will wait maybe for five or six days before I wash them with my hands or with washing machine.

Honestly I’m just gonna hand wash all the clothes I decide to paint on to be extra careful
Any tips on doing it properly?
@@ThorOdinsonTMHiddenMonster nah I have no idea what I’m doing.
@@mixedemotions8141 lol
If you have a good textile medium (or fabric paint with the medium premixed in), you heat set for a few minutes per area, and LET THE CLOTHING SIT for atleast a couple days before you wash, you can totally wash on gentle cycle with cold or warm water!! I hope you make some cool stuff! 😊
@@Highlikeheaven89 thank you for the advice
Did you heat seal the acrylic paint with an iron before washing? I wonder if heat sealing makes a difference with the acrylic paints on fabric?
Yes, I think they are different. I didn’t heat seal the paint before I washed. I left it in my room for 4-5 days. I don't recommend exposure to the sun.
Do you know how to heat seal the paint? Should I like iron it over another fabric or directly?
@@najwanadyetta uhm you can flip the shirt inside-out and then put a wax paper/paper underneath (so that the paint wont go on the opposite side of the fabric) and iron it that way you can keep the paint from peeling. Idk if you understand English isn't my first language 😁😁

I'm thankful for coming across a video like this, i would like to know where did you get that marker "Acrylic painter"
Oh, I bought them from Amazon

Thank you for reviewing
Thanks for sharing us ur efforts ❤️.
What fabric marker did you used? Btw, you're drawings and how you paint it is sooooo gooooodddd!!!

Painting on fabric is harder then I thought. Well it turned out good , I used acrylic cause I was not comfy with fabric ones. Idk if it'll come out , but I have to wear it tommorow and yeah I hope nothing bad happens after that even if it washes off i won't be sad
Update perhaps?
@cookie Hunter I used normal acrylic paints on my plain black sweatshirt, you have to make sure you don't add water to the paints. And after painting let it dry well , the paints don't come after drying, even after washing , but one thing you have to be careful about it is not to stretch your sweatshirt , or the area where the paint is, that way the paint part kinda breaks? Yeah overall good exp

Hey, Im really broke and I wanna make my own band merch, but im torn between fabric paint and acrylic. Which one do you think is much better? Did u use any paint preserver with the fabric paint? Hoping for some replies! Much love ❤🙏
I made band patches for my jacket with acrylics and after the first wash at 30deg celsius it stayed fine, but i'm still skeptical for future washes. I would still go with fabric paints, my friend uses fabric paints, she's happy with them and some can be washed on higher temperatures.
I can update you when i test my patches in the future but it shouldn't make that big of a difference i think. Fabric paint is softer and smoother on fabric tho
@@andjelaradun same i made the patches for them and tbh I think it was much more fun than buying the patches. Those are pretty expensive. I also made Kill Em All my back patch. It was the easiest to paint
@@numbers7889 That's great! I started selling mine since many of my friends were interested in them. Patches are hard to find in Serbia, mostly mainstream bands. So now i do custom patches. It won't make me a milionare but it's nice to have a hobby that brings just enough money for beer on a friday night.
Acrylic and fabric are the same. Add pouring medium to acrylic paint to thin it. Then you have fabric paint. Acrylic is just thicker so thin it then you have yourself fabric paint. Fabric paint is acrylic paint just thinned down with a medium

For acrylic paint you need to mix with a textil medium but the painted area still hard like cardboard

Great tutorial! Very talented.
I wonder if I could make an acrylic paint spray , like a dye, if not painting a specific image? Have you ever tried that?
I didn't try to spray on the clothes, but this method is very good, simple operation and good effect. You just need to cover up the parts you don't want to draw, and then spray the place you love. I believe the effect will be very good.
Hi June - That was amazing to watch, thank you. I am wondering if you recommend any paint markers as opposed to painting with a brush?
The brand is Arteza Permanent,Fabric paint marker.this is good
@@JuneArtDIY So these would be for painting with a brush, do you recommend this over using paint PEN markers?
Thanks for this!
I'm surprised there is not any comment about the durability of course the paint wont wash off with a single wash. Usually it takes multiple wash to get the paint away I think it would have been more accurate if you did it like for 1-3 month to test if it will last.
Aside from that I love the duck design to you have an IG ir etsy ir something like that?
amazing, so cute
