2:20 . . . I freaking love you, brother… those two metal bits flew out when I took the headlight off. I had no idea where they came from or how to properly put them back. Can’t thank you enough! Awesome vid!
So it is H4 , couldn't find the specs of the bulb anywhere - even the Haynes service manual (printed on toilet paper these days apparently) only mentioned the "quartz bulb" w/o mentioning the type - well done Haynes. Thx for stressing the fact not to be scammed by LED replacement filaments - it is indeed not working at all and doesn't look good on a simple bike like the scrambler...thx a mill.
Hey thanks for checking out the video. I don't know whether it'll work or not. Give it a try. It's slightly higher wattage but my hunch is that it's fine.
Quality video! I was wondering if it is possible to replace the halogen bulb with a Xenon bulb? Hopefully not a stupid question but I'd like the notion of going for xenon as the light is brighter when driving at night. Let me know your thoughts!
As long as the wattage is equivalent, the Xenon bulb should work. It's the change in wattage that triggers the lamp warning light on the dash. Thank you for your inquiry!
May I ask what sidelight bulb did you buy for the small bottom one. I’m trying to find one with white light instead of the stock yellow so I can match it with the H4 standard Hella. Thank you.
Thanks for checking out the video. I haven't had to replace that one yet so I don't have a recommendation. If you can find one with a similar wattage to the oem, it'll probably work.

Sorry to hear that. Not sure how to help. Could be a faulty lamp or it’s not fully connected. Hope you figured it out.
If a use a 65W white light it will work fine?
