Awesome recap sir, thank you for your hard work. I just installed those side mirrors, they are very useful and cool looking.
Thank you for the very kind words. Glad they were helpful. Ride safe.
I'm from Australia, now in phillipines, the traffic can be insane,in the provinces, dogs goats çhickens, just lay on the road, you have to dodge the dog poo,,in the towns,I see stacks every day ,so suit up mate and stay alert, you can relax when your on the hiway
Great vid man! May I suggest a free upgrade?... Get rid of those spacers between the headlight brackets and the headlight itself! They looks a bit weird. They don't come on the EU models and looks a bit better without them I reckon 👍
Oh I see. Never even noticed until you pointed it out. Will play around with it this weekend. Thx Matt.
@@StreetRodAZ no worries! I'm about to do a video on all my mods too. Also got some new 360 vids out! Check my channel out if you want a fellow XSR rider to follow! 😂
nice job mate cheers
Hi! I'am planning to buy 2020 model next month... Can you give pros and cons of the bike ? Have you make any long rides with it ? Have you tried any light gravel riding ?
Overall, the stock bike is about an 8 out of 10. The cons are basically the things I replaced. Mirrors, Bars, Tail, Speedo location, and throttle. You mod those, and the bike is pretty solid. The suspension could be a bit better, which is why I'm swapping out the forks and rear shock on some upcoming videos. I don't take this off pavement. I have dirt bikes for that, but the guys in the XSR700 Facebook group take theirs offroad all the time with dirt tires. Believe me when I say you won't have any regrets owning one. Good luck. Ride safe.
Great video and really nice bike. I am thinking about one of these myself. Just a question about seat height. Is the seat really tall on this bike? I am on the shorter side and that worries me. Currently riding a 2019 CB300R and a 2020 Honda Rebel 500. Thanks
hi david. thanks for watching. the xsr is on the taller side. you sit on it, rather than sitting in it, but i know many riders around 5'2" that ride it. they're on the balls of their feet, but they say no issues. you can also get aftermarket seats and lowering kits that will shave off a couple inches. best thing you should do it go ride one. hope you end up getting one. cheers and ride safe
loud speaker,HEY YOU WHAT YA DOING OVER THERE
Hi, it is worth placing the BOOSTER PLUG on the XSR700 there is a change is it really works
Indeed it does.
What kind of oil are you running? Thanks
In winter, Yamalube 10w40 Full Syn. In summer, Yamalube 15w50 full syn. Gets like 110 degrees F in summer here in Arizona
What bike do you prefer this or your HD Street Rod? If you had to choose one which one would it be?
Really hard to compare them. They're very different bikes. Sport vs. Sport Touring. For long rides or 2 up with my wife, the Street Rod is my go to. But for solo twisty roads, track and tom foolery, the XSR is the way to go. But if I absolutely had to give one up, I'd probably keep the XSR because I've been doing a lot more twisty canyon riding with my crew lately. Fortunately, I don't have to make that choice. :-)
What if she says me or the bike?🤔
2:33 turned on your high beams by accident? woopsie
Yep. Pretty much happens all the time. I got big hands
