I've had the Esteban Masterclass for 10 years and it has held up very well. Put a bone nut and saddle in this guitar and it is the loudest guitar in my house.
Just bought an Esteban Guitar for my collection.... It was never played but the bridge was pulling away and had a bad belly bulge... Working on it now..... Got the bridge saddle out and discovered it was the cheapest thing I have ever seen on any Guitar... Installing a good bridge saddle could improve the tones 100%, I'm thinking... Still like the guitar though.... I love making a silk purse out of a sow's ear.....
My last aunt passed away back in 2015 and a few months back my cousin decided to give me the last guitar my aunt had ever bought which was an Esteban Reflections Model, and everything that was included in the package such as case, stand, all the DVD's, books, and posters that came with it plus the G-10 amplifier. The guitar is fantastic to look at but wasn't any fun to play and after several hours of setting it up, which included adjusting the truss rod, leveling frets, installing a new bone nut and saddle, lowered the bridge, (it has very minor lifting at the back, but no top bulge) and new strings it sounded very good and played great. I should say sounded great until that is when plugged into that G-10 amp. OMG, I got a headache trying to listen to it and it only got worse when hitting the Overdrive button. I took the back off of it and inspected the electronics and speaker, and it all appeared brand new, but the speaker was obviously a cheap one. Spending a few days thinking about it, and I decided to replace the speaker with a better one. I found a speaker by doing a search for 4.5" Full Range 8-ohm Replacement speaker online called a F-701 model selling for $24 Screws didn't line up with the old holes but easy to center and install. The G-10 now sounds fantastic, and I actually use it more than my 75-watt Line 6 which I love but is a bit more work to get the tones I really like. The G-10 is a diamond in the rough and with the right speaker it becomes a polished diamond that I certainly love.
@@DwightP980 I guess that's half the fun of trying to make a cheaper guitar play like a good one...I believe those old Estebans do have a bit of a collectable value to some... I think they are pretty neat guitars as I remember all the Late Night infomercials Esteban did to sell the guitar and his Lessons...... If you ever look Esteban up on RUclips, you will find his really is an excellent Guitar player.... I was impressed ..... Take Care...
Sounds alright to me.There’s one on Facebook right now 75 bucks with case. The plug that into an amplifier and said it right it’s gonna sound good tic you play it right..
Estaban is Steven Paul a classical guitarist whom actually studied with the late Andre Segovia...the whole Esteban thing was marketing...not sure what the point ot this video was...
I don't have any dog in a fight when it comes to this guitar, but he did just put new strings on it. The way he's kind of hitting at those strings are stretching out fast
You guys are obviously guitar snobs! Some people want to learn how to play, and a cheap guitar is just what they need. I learned to play on a 1961 fender duo sonic. But I own 2 ESTEBAN GUITARS, for my knock around guitars. 71 years old and I still play my Fenders now and then.
I’m 72 and agree with you. Just curious which Esteban models do you have? There’s an Impala 50th Anniversary model I’ve been considering and a Camaro none as well. Thanks
Esteban Guitars. Or as I like to call them, firewood.
Commonly used as a paddle crossing the Rio Grande.

I know audio transfer is always a problem in really hearing the true sound of a guitar, but all I can hear is regret.
How poetic!
and a tiny bit of shame.

+randallace Perhaps your guitar didn't have enough explosions and flowery stuff on it.
Barco Espania❤
I can tell just by watching you play the Esteban guitar that it is a piece of crap. You are having a lot of difficulty playing it.
Some one told me these are good guitars so go figure
There was only like 3 decent models (intermediate Alvarez/Ibanez quality). The rest are firewood.
Sorry dude but you're not playing "Mexican" music
it's a joke moron
