I start with royalty class. Equip the scimitar in 1-1. Save the turpentine. Level Endurance to around 18. Head into 4-1 (fresh out of 1-1 after leveling endurance), and apply turpentine to the Scimitar. Kill all the skellies on the stairs and make way to red eye skeleton. Run around him and grab the Crescent Falchion +1. Jump off, re-enter zone. Farm this zone with the CF+1. Get the Talisman of God and Heal for 5000 souls early on. Now you have OP heals at low levels where grass is hard to come by -- the mana regen from CF+1 + Fragrant ring allows you to do endless heals throughout the early game. The heals and CF+1 destroy everything in Stonefang tunnel :) Farm 2-1 wraith to get CF+1 to CF+4. Eventually I make this a Fighter Mage build: 40 vit, 40 end, 40 mag, 24 int, 16 str, 18 faith. 18 faith is for Talisman of Beasts. 16 str is for Dark Silver Shield as well as Crescent Kilaj + 5. Dull Gold Armor set or Fluted. Kris Blade +5. I destroy everything in this game with this build and mostly do melee combat. Kilij + 5 does so much damage with mag 40 and because it hits for like 400 and is sooo fast, stun locking.

Tip: Please save the searing demons soul from flamelurker to give to blacksmith Ed otherwise you will not be able to upgrade the silver catalyst to the insanity catalyst. I really wish this video had mentioned that. Takes a lot of enjoyment out of the game for me because I consumed the searing thinking I didn't need it and I was really looking forward to the insanity catalyst.
Can't upgrade kris blade either without trading the searing soul in....good grief that's punishing. Guess it's something to look forward to in NG+. At least I got homing soul arrow.
If you'd spoken with Ed beforehand he'd have mentioned needing a hotter flame, and the Flamelurker's soul mentions that it's used for weapons. Dunno what you were expecting but, especially on any kind of caster. in any Souls game it's almost never a good idea to use a Boss Souls just for the Souls unless you know it's not used for anything you'd want.

Are you using the shield? They start with a 100% physical block so I don't see how you can get crushed in the first area. Block and counter attack until you get used to circling for the backstab or parrying (Riposte after a parry does more damage but the backstab is so much easier to do). Mage gets ranged attack but until you can start buying other spells you are rather limited. You should definitely still be fine, but watch a lot of the first area guys that throw bombs. Also remember the starting shield is only 90% physical protection so any attack you block whittles down your health. Good luck on your journey :)
Such a top tier guide, has helped me as a new player to the souls have a really great experience. The only thing that i wish was mentioned is that you need to save the demon dragon gods soul for fire storm. Unfortunately found this out far too late
I actually don't recommend getting the insanity catalyst until NG+. While it is the most powerful catalyst in the game, it comes with the major downside of halving your max MP when equipped. Homing Soul arrow on the other hand is one of the strongest spells in the game. It doesn't have tracking, but the damage output is immense, and it's good for putting pressure on people in PVP.
New player here who's gaming tastes have turned to the more masochistic. Excited to start with the remake. Thanks for the guides to get me on my way. Love how you've organized them. I'll be here for when Elden Ring finally drops, whenever that my be.

This.. I finished the game with my Royalty class and didn’t even realise half these equipment that would have made the magic even more broken af. Gonna restart another character.
You want to be a Magical God.... have Morion blade and clever cat ring equipped, then tal of beasts or wooden wand (for best damage). While low hp... 140 percent extra damage... then the head wraps, and ring of magial sharpness as well.... and soul form for even more damage.... You might be a glass cannon, but you cant be hurt by what is dead.....
When you max out at SL88 dump into luck. Does physical and Magical damage. Get just a little more off and if someone comes closer then you'd like for spells you can stick em with the pointy end. Just a thought. Edit: Also thank you for these wonderful guides!

Spellsword: Pretty much the same build, only use the Falchion in the left hand to parry, and for horizontal swings. A Thrusting blade (Rapier, or eventually Crescent Estoc) to repost, backstab, and also recover Magic. You get 1 more tick of Magic recovery, so you can conserve Spice, and get the Silver Catalyst back out that much sooner. However, you also have the Reach to space/time foes with the Estoc, and set-up for slashing, rollcatches, and so forth with the Falchion. (Or whatever, there's a Crescent Falchion that's easily gotten early on.) Other than that, it's the same build+ However, you have to keep in mind that all that Magic Boosting also makes you incredibly weak to Magic. So, it's a good idea to swap out as needed when you've got spells being shot at you. (The Silver Coronet instead of the Invader cowl. Fragrant Ring instead of Magical Sharpness, Crescent, or Fatal Estoc instead of Kris...) It's basically just one more trick for your bag, once you get the spacing, and timing down to actually fight someone on Spamina alone. (While your Magicka recovers from ticks...)
Another way you can advance from here is 4 levels in Faith to cast Last Chance. This brings you back to 50% Health when you die, and doesn't scale with anything. However, it takes 2 Miracle slots. (Which don't count against your Magic spells, but you need 16 Faith to memorize it.) The Insanity Catalyst can cast Spells, or Miracles, so is probably best for this variant.
Thanks for this guide! Just started this on my new PS5 in the UK and played for few hours now as temple knight... it’s hard AF and a confusing game lol... restarting now as royalty ty ty ty
Actually, to me it is. Magician starts with higher intelligence and magic, which are basically the core stats of this class, it also comes with a wooden catalyst which is actually stronger than the silver one found on the royalty, plus it starts with flame toss which deals more damage than soul arrow and it's more effective vs big enemies, especially when it comes to the first boss Phanalax. Royalty's biggest advantage is the starting equip, having a mana regen ring and soul arrow ready, which allow you to spam long range spells and making the start path definitely easier. Royalty's also a versatile class starting at soul level 1, meaning you can take advantage of the magic power at the beginning to clean your way and then completely change class/gameplay, it's also good if you want to build a magic/faith mixed class due to it's higher faith at start. Overall it's just a good start for whoever wants the easy way, but if you want to build up a pure mage class, magician could be more challenging at start but it's definitely the way to go, I did it and didn't regret it at all :) (Also, crescent falchion is good and easy to obtain but go for kilij and make it crescent eventually, definitely an upgrade over the meta overrated crescent falchion).
Nice video short sweet and very informative. 👍👍. Found your guide on your site and man you have a ton of builds. Figured id start with this one since im new to Demon Souls
I like playing with pure sorcerer casters, but since DeS and DaS3 have mana/FP instead of charges, I gave up on this idea. Also, I still haven't bought/borrowed PS5 and DeS remake, but assuming this is just like OG Demon's, my build will be the same. 1. Sorcerer class, no royalty. Sorc starts as SL4 and this already gives you an advantage over royalty who is SL1. 2. Buy Soul Arrow. 3. Get Crescent Falchion in 4-1 as soon as you finish 1-1. That sword is already enchanted and you won't need a staff in other hand. 4. No need for Fragrant Ring, because magic casting is not common and if you really need one you can get it as soon as you get in 4-1 (trading with that crow). 5. After you get Crescent Falchion, go to Tower of Latria if you really need that Silver Coronet, as well as Kite Shield. You need to invest in STR for that. If my memory serves me right, sorcerer starts with 9 STR and you need 12 to carry that shield. Also, while you're there, save Freke. 6. Go to 1-2, kill the big ass shield boss, trade his soul for Warding spell. Congratz, you are almost done. 7. Get flame resistance ring in Boletaria 1-1. Keep casting Soul Arrow (you may need few MP restorative items) until that dragon flies away. 8. Equip the ring, dual hand Crescent Falchion, cast Water Veil, destroy Flamelurker and Dragon God. The only real problem are Maneaters bosses. Basically, my run through the area is with sword and a shield, but during the boss fights it's dual wielding falchion with Warding spell in action. And since Crescent Falchion scales with Magic, spending points on it and HP is the most important. Intelligence is not, and having 3 spell slots is enough. I'm not trying to correct you, btw. Your guide is really good. Just trying to say there are other ways to play with a mage. Yours is ranged, mine is basically melee lol.
Tip for PVE: Use Morion Blade instead of Kris and Clever Rat's Ring instead of Cling Ring for maximal Burst-Damage at 30% HP. One shotted Bosses in NG+ :)
Thanks ! Pretty ofey with souls games but lm just not sure wether to go strength or magic both look fun ! Def leaning towards Strength atm. Today we get the Ps5 in the uk 😁🤘
Around same level as the guide now (level 59) Vit 25 Int 24 End 11 Str 14 Mag 35 Basically added some to END and STR to her better weapons and armor. Next 9 levels will be +4 to faith to used second chance and +5 to magic and get to 40. Still only beaten around 8 bosses. Crescent Kijiji +4 / Heater Shield +4 Silver Catalyst / Kris Blade Magic sharpness ring Half Dorran Armor, half magician
I've beaten the game a couple of times now with melee based builds. Just started a run through as a Mage! Probably won't use it for PvP much, but it add a ton of fun to PvE! Thanks for the vid!
@@ghostface1621 Maybe you're really good with magic, but I find it much easier to avoid magic than people that are really good with melee. Especially people who think they're being clever hiding around the corner with firestorm lol, who knows, maybe it's different for everybody!
For the cheapest spice in the game purchase it from the Former Noble's Wife in 3-1. The Octohead Guards can also drop them for free. The Shrine of Storms offers up a lot of souls so it's easy to purchase a stack of Spice.
I know that head wrap is the most viable for a mage build. But...I just can't. Can't see around it and it looks awful 🥲 I can't wait to see some other builds. I don't remember my old ones for this game. Trying to get my strength tank together
Thank you. It's been a while since I've played a souslborne game. I had played this on a the PS3, right before DS3 came out. I got this for the PS5 and it's ... well ... I need to get gud. This will help me enjoy the game while I get gud.
I did this build and works very well for me. I got my vitality to 30, intelligence to 40 and magic and faith to 47 to get to SL120. You could always go higher to max them out at 50, but I wouldn't recommend it. I still use the falchion and Kris blade in one hand and talisman of beast in the other.
One thing I want to add to this is that Magician could be better in the long run if you really want to min - max your soul level. If you don't put any points in to Faith or Luck you can keep yourself 2 levels lower.
U aren’t shitting.. royalty was a class I always felt embarrassed about while trying this game.. being that I hear easier! BUT.. after busting my ass at Souls games and sekiro for years trying to get it right .. was never able to truly able to enjoy one of these games except Dark souls 3 when I finally killed my first boss and don’t laugh .. Sekiro was the one that actually worked better for me .. even though it was way harder .. I didn’t find him so sluggish.. and the blocking worked so much better.. made me a better from software player .. just could never enjoy much of the games .. only to make it to one flipping boss then being crushed by one swing . The soul arrow makes the game a tad more do able for now .. but not to easy.. some of those bastard people can lunge 6 feet lol. And your spot on.. it’s easy to get over confident and sprint through the next corridor out of impatience.. only to be greeted by a SOB hiding under a stair way with a flame bomb ! Thanks for making this game more enjoyable for me and helping me at LEAST enjoy a few more screens I Had yet to see .. being that I’ve only been the sluggish KNIGHT the whole time .. even started to run around in underpants and a sword for more speed .. either way I’m dead with armor or not .. I finally get the “High from beating a 78 ft boss that swings a 100 ft sword made of flames and lost dreams in life lol.. keep up the great content .. and sorry for the novel..BTW.. what is that goofy ass tornado 🌪 on your head
MAGIC TANK BUILD: Clever Rat's ring in 3-1, 50% attack boost at 30% health! Second Chance miracle, defeat 4-2 boss for Hero soul, trade for miracle Grab Makoto sword in 4-1, pure white tendency Cast second chance, use Makoto to drain health to 30% to activate Clever Rat's ring. Use Kris blade, magic ring and magic hat and you do amazing damage. If your second chance activates, recast it!!! You'll one shot most enemies.
I play the game without health bars. I dont pay attanetion to damage done. Just how fun it is to use. Boss fights are something...... not knowing if you are doijg nothing to them or an insane amount is intresting.
I am a Beginner. I was never good in a Souls- or Souls-like Game. For me a Build which specializes on ranged Attacks is saver and more comfortable to play. I like this Remake, but it's really frustrating to not be able to progress further than "Gates of Boletaria" I tried Knight, Hunter and then Magician. Close Combat was never my Forte, except for Nioh. And the Magicians Mana Consumption is too high for me. Most of the time i see myself confronting Enemies without Mana just relying on the Close Combat Skills. That is the Reason why i also didn't like to play Magician in this Game. And the Hunter is flat out bad as a Range Attacker. So, Royalty will be my last Chance. If i can't progress with this Build then i'll quit and probably never try it again.
Actually you can achieve highest magic attack rating if you level up both magic and faith past 40 and use Talisman of Beasts not Insanity catalyst. Insanity catalyst is best for casting Light Weapon spell.
I've played all the souls games except this one. I'd like to do a hybrid between magic and something else, but i don't know what to pick. Do strength based or dex based weapons work better with magic? Or does infusion with crescent convert the damage and stat scaling to magic all together? Im a little confused as im used to the way infusions in dark souls 3 work. Finally, I'm aiming to bring the character to about lvl 140.
So I’m following this build and I’m having difficulty with the skeletons in 4.1 Shrine of storms. As a mage are you supposed to be able to take them on with just magic because I have to resort to sword and board. Because I’m a mage my stamina depletes super fast. This is especially true in tight corridors. Are there more enemies like this? I have a knight that wrecks them but I want to make mage work
Magic builds are a great way to play souls games without having to play souls games. Magic builds have been further overpowered by the hide helmet feature. Previously, mages were balanced by having to wear that stupid yellow helmet..
I dont understand. Pure mage would almost exclusively use a Crescent weapon and/or the Kris Blade as the melee weapon of choice. A Battle Mage build would be better if you want a large sword and still cast spells. Try the Crescent upgrade path (a Claymore is a solid choice)
Have you done it before? Soul arrow definitely makes it easier, but you absolutely have to be prepared to counter and avoid attacks. Some people must like different play styles than you too. Crazy that you come to a video about being a caster just to whine about how being a caster is boring.
When I just went to look at the spell merchant in the Nexus, a few of the spells you mentioned in the video weren't available. Do they become available later? For reference, just beat the Armor Spider.
Only if you plan on smacking enemies with it, two handing is basically a 1.5x STR boost, not a damage boost, so two handing a catalyst only increases the damage of the melee attack with it, not the spells.
I honestly think it's worth it for the talisman of beast since it scales with both. I have my magic and faith at 45 and my spells do way more damage than the insanity catalyst. Plus it gives you access to second chance and regeneration or God's wrath.
Just finished my first play through last night. It automatically starts you over with everything you had, like a new game+. Is there anything stopping me from adding magic on top of my strength build?
I aint him, but the overpowered magic meme is this.. Firestorm, while firestorm is casting, switch the slot to fire spray (armor spider soul to Freke), then you move and perma spam firestorm.... Basically a walking wall of fire, you will be OP as shit... (remember, spam spam spam the magic stat... more is best)
@@davidevans7477 Yeah it seems to be the best for bosses as well. I like fire spray. Essentially a machine gun of a spell. I've already reached magic l of 40 and I've just beat the armor spider, now im onto Flamelurker. Will be using soul ray for that one. I'll need to boost my intelligence though. Not much mana at level 24 int.
@@Jabsy101 go for it, just remember the spell slot swap trick to get firestorm casting as if it was fire spray :D (you need high int for spell slots anyways:D)
Flame toss can be purchased from Freke's Apprentice in the Nexus, he is in the area to the left of the stairs that lead to the big hallway full of messages.
what about the Phosphorescent Pole? Is that worth getting on a mage build? If so, should I try to get two of them, or will just one do the trick? Also, is the Morrion blade in this game, or is that just the kris blade?

James Hughes wanna team up?
How do we team up
OK, this is about what I expect for a Harry Potter game to work like hahaha Looks awesome
... I thought magician was the optimal magic class due to the name... But no... Oh demon souls, you're special.
Overall it's just a good start for whoever wants the easy way, but if you want to build up a pure mage class, magician could be more challenging at start but it's definitely the way to go, I did it and didn't regret it at all :)
(Also, crescent falchion is good and easy to obtain but go for kilij and make it crescent eventually, definitely an upgrade over the meta overrated crescent falchion).
Nice video short sweet and very informative. 👍👍. Found your guide on your site and man you have a ton of builds. Figured id start with this one since im new to Demon Souls
Best guide ever, the website is awesome too 👍
I like playing with pure sorcerer casters, but since DeS and DaS3 have mana/FP instead of charges, I gave up on this idea.
By Sorcerer class you mean Magician yes?
Tip for PVE:
Use Morion Blade instead of Kris and Clever Rat's Ring instead of Cling Ring for maximal Burst-Damage at 30% HP.
One shotted Bosses in NG+ :)
Thank you. I changed my sword to the Falchion and so far its going well.
You sir have earned my sub. Really informative video.
Thanks ! Pretty ofey with souls games but lm just not sure wether to go strength or magic both look fun ! Def leaning towards Strength atm.
Today we get the Ps5 in the uk 😁🤘
Very nicely done!
Around same level as the guide now (level 59)
Vit 25
Int 24
End 11
Str 14
Mag 35
Basically added some to END and STR to her better weapons and armor. Next 9 levels will be +4 to faith to used second chance and +5 to magic and get to 40.
Still only beaten around 8 bosses.
Crescent Kijiji +4 / Heater Shield +4
Silver Catalyst / Kris Blade
Magic sharpness ring
Half Dorran Armor, half magician
Thanks, Fex!
I've beaten the game a couple of times now with melee based builds. Just started a run through as a Mage! Probably won't use it for PvP much, but it add a ton of fun to PvE! Thanks for the vid!
Bruh youll melt people in pvp with magic more than any melee build
@@ghostface1621 Maybe you're really good with magic, but I find it much easier to avoid magic than people that are really good with melee. Especially people who think they're being clever hiding around the corner with firestorm lol, who knows, maybe it's different for everybody!
For the cheapest spice in the game purchase it from the Former Noble's Wife in 3-1. The Octohead Guards can also drop them for free. The Shrine of Storms offers up a lot of souls so it's easy to purchase a stack of Spice.
I know that head wrap is the most viable for a mage build. But...I just can't. Can't see around it and it looks awful 🥲
I can't wait to see some other builds. I don't remember my old ones for this game. Trying to get my strength tank together
You can turn off helmets so you get the stat boost but the head wrap turns invisible
Thank you. It's been a while since I've played a souslborne game. I had played this on a the PS3, right before DS3 came out. I got this for the PS5 and it's ... well ... I need to get gud. This will help me enjoy the game while I get gud.
Excellent video. I have never played souls game before and I am looking forward to play this one, when I will get my PS5.
Love this guide, really informative and straight to the point. Subbed!
Great stuff, many thanks.
Thanks i have made 7 characters total just waiting for new builds when I start them :P
Great guide
Any possibility of seeing a faith+mage combo build? Also great build, just need to get my PS5 first before I can utilise it!
If your doing meta then this build will fail hard because of the lack of vitality and stamina
And your dmg will be minimized rather than just having a one trick character, whoever go right ahead bro
@@theonelad7631 is a magician good?
The talisman of beasts scales off faith and magic and lets you use all magic it’s very viable just not until NG+
I did this build and works very well for me. I got my vitality to 30, intelligence to 40 and magic and faith to 47 to get to SL120. You could always go higher to max them out at 50, but I wouldn't recommend it. I still use the falchion and Kris blade in one hand and talisman of beast in the other.
best starter class is the Royalty (= magic + MP ring, + fast weapon + shield)
One thing I want to add to this is that Magician could be better in the long run if you really want to min - max your soul level. If you don't put any points in to Faith or Luck you can keep yourself 2 levels lower.
At the beginning 2:30. You say to pick up flame toss for the first boss, but spells do not open up for purchase until after that boss
that turban though.
can't wait for the blueblood sword build video
Damn thnks great video
What’s The best starting gift?
Superb guide...TYVM
Is the starting half of this build a viable route for a blue blood sword/light weapon build?
I'm actually working on a build similar to this in the original. Currently getting 3-1 down to pure black.
thx for the great guide
That hat makes your dude look like a fall guy!..... and yeah i need a ps5
Very informative guide. Could you do a faith build next? Thanks! :)
Next up is a melee knight but we'll get onto faith soon!
Starting gift?
MAGIC TANK BUILD:
Clever Rat's ring in 3-1, 50% attack boost at 30% health!
Second Chance miracle, defeat 4-2 boss for Hero soul, trade for miracle
Grab Makoto sword in 4-1, pure white tendency
Cast second chance, use Makoto to drain health to 30% to activate Clever Rat's ring. Use Kris blade, magic ring and magic hat and you do amazing damage. If your second chance activates, recast it!!! You'll one shot most enemies.
Tried this build in my first playthrough and yeah...it's the easy mode. Beat every single boss on my first try. 😂
Or alternatively you could put a few points in faith and use the Beast Talisman and pick up second chance.
I play the game without health bars. I dont pay attanetion to damage done. Just how fun it is to use. Boss fights are something...... not knowing if you are doijg nothing to them or an insane amount is intresting.
How about suggesting some end game unique / demon souls weapons to aim for too? Such as maybe the Epee Rapier or the Phosphorescent.
watching this is just making me mad i cant find a ps5
Find on Facebook market i just got ps5 for 900
@@DungTran-kk6en that’s dumb. Stop buying from scalpers
@@sillymesilly I agree I would never!!!!
These guides are great...what stats or gear should I aim for on this build once I’ve got to the end point in this guide??
I am a Beginner. I was never good in a Souls- or Souls-like Game. For me a Build which specializes on ranged Attacks is saver and more comfortable to play. I like this Remake, but it's really frustrating to not be able to progress further than "Gates of Boletaria"
I tried Knight, Hunter and then Magician.
How’d it go?
@@CallOfDuty4FtW21 I finished that Game as a Magician and after that two more Times as a Magical Knight. Great Game IMO!
Great guide! Do you have any suggestions on Armor Sets to look out for?
The most protection you can get that keeps you under 50% Equip Burden.
LETSSS GOOOO
WE WINDOWSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Is dexterity good to level up too as royality?
Not really as you don't need it unless you want to focus on weapon buffs
It ups cast speed slightly if i remember right but not by much especially after level 25 i think is the first soft cap
I think some is good. on all my magic builds I liked having a bow as back up range damage.
What armor do you recommend ?
Thanks
Actually you can achieve highest magic attack rating if you level up both magic and faith past 40 and use Talisman of Beasts not Insanity catalyst. Insanity catalyst is best for casting Light Weapon spell.
Looks fun. I might actually try. Magic build in a souls game for once. I imagine it is probably not great for pvp though?
Magic can easily be countered by faith thanks to anti magic spells
I've played all the souls games except this one. I'd like to do a hybrid between magic and something else, but i don't know what to pick. Do strength based or dex based weapons work better with magic? Or does infusion with crescent convert the damage and stat scaling to magic all together? Im a little confused as im used to the way infusions in dark souls 3 work. Finally, I'm aiming to bring the character to about lvl 140.
Any recommendations where I should go after beating the Phalanx?
Depends on you build, different areas have different gear
Strength build for royalty please
Royalty magic build is "Easy Mode" in Demon's Souls. It's easily the noisy OP build in the game.
I have a knight that wrecks them but I want to make mage work
Use fire magic for them, they are weak to it.
Thank you very much! #legend
What gift should I choose
Magic builds are a great way to play souls games without having to play souls games.
Magic builds have been further overpowered by the hide helmet feature. Previously, mages were balanced by having to wear that stupid yellow helmet..
The hide helmet feature only applies to the player. Black phantoms will still see the helmet you’re wearing.
I'm playing as a pure mage, does anyone have any recommendation on greatswords for a mage, as I prefer them?
I dont understand. Pure mage would almost exclusively use a Crescent weapon and/or the Kris Blade as the melee weapon of choice.
A Battle Mage build would be better if you want a large sword and still cast spells. Try the Crescent upgrade path (a Claymore is a solid choice)
Sounds more like hybrid Str/mage. Not pure mage.
I feel like playing Royal is boring as hell. All you do is spam soul arrow?
Have you done it before? Soul arrow definitely makes it easier, but you absolutely have to be prepared to counter and avoid attacks. Some people must like different play styles than you too. Crazy that you come to a video about being a caster just to whine about how being a caster is boring.
Why are no points put into faith? I’m totally new to this build, I just thought faith would still be pretty important
Wow. I was wondering what that buff was when I put on the crescent falchion. I didn't see it listed anywhere that it regenerates mana. TIL.
How did you get the item info page up at 5:44 without speaking to Stockpile Thomas? I’m almost at the end and didn’t even know it’s possible
Nevermind I’m an idiot
When I just went to look at the spell merchant in the Nexus, a few of the spells you mentioned in the video weren't available. Do they become available later? For reference, just beat the Armor Spider.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to keep your catalyst in your main hand so you can two hand it for more damage? ( at least early game)
Only if you plan on smacking enemies with it, two handing is basically a 1.5x STR boost, not a damage boost, so two handing a catalyst only increases the damage of the melee attack with it, not the spells.
is it worth investing any faith into this build to be able to use spells like anti-magic field and second chance with the talisman of beasts?
You should only level Magic/intelligence/vitality if your doing a magic build. You could put levels into faith but it’s a waste in my opinion.
People generally stay at around sl120 for pvp so just don't go past that if u wanna compete
I thought blue stone is to help people not to fight them? Fighting is black stone?
Which spell do you recommend getting? The Firestorm or Fireball spell after getting the Dragon God soul. Strictly for the first playthrough, that is.
I think I restart the game with this build ... currently having a hard time with my strengh dex build (messed up build)
I finally beat the knight with the soul mage. When do you get to buy new spells? I need the fire one
I'm struggling with this game any tips are welcome
same man, i feel like i wasted 70$ :(
@@hassnalyami5205 start the game again with the royalty class make sure you have the silver catalyst they don't stand a chance mate it's magic!
