At 150 lbs I get 20 miles on delirium! Amazed and glad I spent my first few months Onewheeling as a Pint owner. Have been curious to see how others have fared but I have to say the XR just makes for a beast of a machine. My feet quit before the board does. That says plenty!
Awesome videos! So great to have you guys actually do field work and give real accurate information. I own a onewheel and live in Culver city, Los Angeles. In my experience I got a solid 12 miles. This machine was built with a lot of endurance climbing up steep hills and even taking it on hiking trails and by the time I reach the top, I have not even broken a sweat. Would be great to see you guys make another onewheel video in the city!
Would love to see the range test of the boosted but Ard....this is kinda weird but could you do it where the weight on it would be equal to 200 lbs I want to see how the range would be impacted by people who weigh more
Abel Axen , this thing will handle that weight easily. I ride this thing hard too speed I hit is 23mph so far, I take it off curbs and drops , stays nimble at my weight at 20psi. This thing is bomb proof, I honestly believe that. Get one and shred it.
@David. I DO have one. +XR. BEST. MONEY. EVER. SPENT. First day I got it, I was a little too excited and had too many beers. Got a BAD concussion. I am an idiot. Finally mostly recovered, I am a little timid. I LOVE this thing. Just wondered how true the weight specs were. Thanks for the info!!!!
Did you upgrade from a plus or did you start out with the XR? I' trying decide between the two. I know that 5 miles isn't quite long enough for my taste, but I also get leg fatigue after 9-10 miles on a boosted mini
The Pint is Perfect for me in my Area. 5 - 7 Miles is Plenty. (UltraCharger to Defeat the Range anxiety) Time is Everything to me, sometimes I don't even get anytime to ride. So if I get an XR just to much Time I will consume.
Just a friendly FYI, electric motors are actually more efficient in City conditions then they are on a long stretch of continuous riding. At least that's how it is for electric cars, this may not transfer over to the one wheel do to the power to weight ratio, but if I had to guess I would say it's probably closer than you would think.
That’s more true of hybrid’s than straight electric vehicles due to regeneration charging the battery. For EVs, wind resistance and climate control are the biggest non-mileage impact. I get better wh/mi on the freeway than I do in city driving if I’m only doing 40, but at speed there’s much more air resistance to overcome.
Not at all. You stated that electric motors are more efficient “in city conditions”. I assume you were referring not to electric motor efficiency in urban environments, but to the generic claim that hybrid electric vehicles get more miles on electricity in city driving than in freeway driving, even at the same speeds. This is true only for hybrids where traditional gasoline fuel is consumed to get the vehicle up to speed, then the motors are used to generate electricity during deceleration. In an EV, you would use electricity from the battery to produce that momentum, so there isn't any “free energy” benefit to stop-and-go driving like there is with hybrids. As for driving at freeway speeds, the fuel source doesn't matter. Air resistance is present regardless of fuel.
@@TechWeWant I am actually saving as we speak daily chucking change in a bowl turning it into dollars at the back then throwing back in a pot.....LOL In all honesty I actually did purchase the pint when it first came out By credit card only later to change my mind when I didn't see famous RUclipsrs responding to the challenge of reviewing the pint and it did look like the pint was wobbly unstable small and mid-range and I thought to myself for the probably a little more money I could go for the XR so I canceled my purchase for the pint and I'm saving for the XR
RIDE w/ PRIDE that’s what i’m doing too. i considered the pint but to go 18 miles would be amazing. I also have a feeling that the pint would be damaged more easily cause the XR is a tank
@@nalder1093 I totally agree with you. I think either way Future Motion benefits from the Pint to the XR. Perhaps the making of the pint is there as a ploy to force people to buy the XR knowing full well the ramifications that the pint is weak next to the XR therefore people don't want to waste 950 for a little pint when they can go for the XR? But of course 1800 a lot of money🤪💲💲💵💰💸🗡

appreciate the test, would love to see range test on other terrains!

Nice :) Would love to see other range tests on the OneWheel!
That app for the one wheel looks awesome!
"Brand new Onewheel XR" - Crazy how fast time flies
The video I’ve been waiting for. Thanks
Do the boosted XR battery with the one wheel
Great video, I love the morgan freeman style narrating
You sound like the guy from How It's Made. oh and props to the minuteman bike path.
Also would be interesting to see one with hills if the others don’t have them.
It would be useful to see how it fares in the city
I’d like to see both city and off-road range tests
We want a off road test! & is it worth the extra $500 or is the plus good enough?
Would love to see the range test of the boosted but Ard....this is kinda weird but could you do it where the weight on it would be equal to 200 lbs I want to see how the range would be impacted by people who weigh more
Wanna see the onewheel after like 400 total miles and see if the range changed
Delirium Rangel test please!! city and offroad.
City ride battery test please!
please make to more rage test for off road and city use. good vid, keep it up!
Wow the range is AWESOME !
and Vos top is right the app looks realy profesionel
Nice! Thanks guys for testing.... :)
I’ve been getting 10-12 miles on mission/ delirium mode riding a mix of all conditions at 6’3 280 lbs.
Awesome. I was wondering how this bad boy handled weight. I am a fatass at 5'7 190lbs.

Can you hit jumps I wakeboard skateboard and snowboard here in WNY
Yes many people do it. But the board doesn’t have suspension so it’s stiff. But they might be coming out with one with suspension in the future

I get almost 25 miles on paths like that if I go below 15 mph. I weigh about 135.
seriously?? how tall are you? i’m 5’7 and also 135 i was wondering how much higher it would be because i am small.
@@nalder1093 my buddy is a 5'4" 115 pound manlet and he gets 11-13 miles.
Yes make a offroad and city video
If you don’t got the fender, all the crap gets flung up your trouser leg! ( both inside and outside!)
Yes it does! A fender is a must. Either from OneWheel or Craft & Ride

I'm not try ing to be an ass but i think your statement got messed up a lil. It contradicts itsself.

18??? I get 9 ~ 11 miles
On the XR? Have you checked your tire pressure? Low tire pressure will reduce range. Also how much do you weigh?
@@TechWeWant yes. Thanks.. I'm over 200 lb.. but I think the range is good. The minipro with the same battery gives me 3 miles less. Have a great day
Same here most I've ever seen was 13miles and I weigh 190 at 21psi
Now if I can just afford a ONE WHEEL I can then enjoy the range....LOL
Work hard, save up, you will get there! New pint is less expensive also
