Gallagher brothers are reportedly interested in bringing Ringo Starr's son, Zak Starkey, back to play drums for Oasis. Starkey, who played with the band from 2004 to 2008, is being considered as part of the lineup for their upcoming reunion.
Current reports suggest that the lineup for Oasis’s reunion tour is nearly finalized. The band’s bassist Andy Bell, along with guitarists Paul 'Bonehead' ArthuThers and Gem Archer, are confirmed for the 19 live shows scheduled for next year.
Zak Starkey joined Oasis in 2004, replacing Alan White, who had been with the band since 2004 after Tony McCarroll's departure in 1995. Chris Sharrock played with the band during their final year before their breakup in 2009. Starkey's departure from the band was reportedly due to disagreements with Noel Gallagher, partially related to his commitments with The Who.
Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, a key figure in mending the relationship between the Gallagher brothers, remains a friend to both. Arthurs, who left Oasis in 1999 during the recording of "Standing on the Shoulder of Giants" to focus on family, has been credited with helping to repair the fractured relationships within the band.
