Just a suggestion to try out : take out the mobo keep it on the wooden surface, use the same power supply and try. make sure the cpu, ram and psu is only connected to check the behaviour. Even when you take it out do not connect anything else, try to check if you have spare RAM or PSU only if you have. While switching on the mobo use the flat head screw driver to shorten the 2 pins on the mobo to switch on. I would love to help lets go step by step to isolate the problem.
Another thing to add, this symptoms you are facing seems like there is something shorting inside, either your PSU or your Motherboard is trying not to boot up knowing there is a short to avoid any hardware damage. Do not do this but I had this thing once where the GPU was faulty and the press and hold the power button, it turned on but there were some ICs burned off while i was holding the power off because it kept shutting down same as yours. Probably there is a component which can be faulty and creating an short in the system.
I’m thinking this issue is the power supply the wattage could be too little also thermaltake isn’t that great I would recommend either corsair or evga a 650 watt should be plenty have you tried unplugging the gpu completely and seeing if it will power on? Also what are the specs? I can put the specs into a wattage calculator and see if that’s the issue I don’t see why a system like that would need more than 500 watts but it could be a faulty power supply, or a shorted or faulty component.
@thomaswilkins8168 my specs are cpu: ryzen 3 (can't remember the exact model number), GPU is a Asus Nvidia 1050ti, motherboard is an older asrock board, and 16gb of corsair ddr4 ram. I have taken out the GPU completely and it's still having this issue. I have also tried 1 stick of ram at a time.
@@FurryFirle Okay I would say at this point I would just focus on the power supply and the motherboard If you try another power supply and that doesn't work then most likely it is the motherboard since the gpu didn't make a difference and the ram didn't either and cpu failure is highly unlikely.
hi bro i been working on computers for 11 years, not to say its the PSU, that is a shortage buddy :) either something is shorting as a whole, or something is not getting power! i say try to replug your CPU power pin and 24 power pin good luck! if that dont work i would unplugg all cables like usb, satas, and optical try again.
I agree w/ this! I would try to "barebones" the PC, (only CPU, RAM, PSU, GPU if needed) hooked up and try from there It's also pretty easy to test power supply (using Paperclip method), so that could also be something he can do!
hello can i ask you something i had same issue 2-3 times and i found out that gpu's slot pins were on opposite side compare to other pin and the pins which were idk why changing its position were on very left of the slot. this still happens sometimes, what i do is take a needle and readjust it to its position is it bad or not?
yeah prob a power supply failure, the other parts seem to work so you can probably transfer most of the stuff or sell it to upgrade to even better stuff , if you have it on a power extender thing i forgot the name lmao try to plug it straight into the wall
You need to replace your PSU ASAP, it kinda PSU failure, if you doing that probably will damage your components, I suggest replace it to EVGA 650 or MSI MAG A650GL Or 550w is enough.
ok i dont think your cpu got integrated graphics can you check your gpu slot pins they are very tiny and if they arey damaged or miss aligned it might be the issue i had the same issue i just took a needle and realigned it if you want i can send you a picture of the pins
@VanshHype I forget what model number. But it's a ryzen 3. I could check that when I get at the computer again this weekend. I'll have more time than to see what issues it has.
@@FurryFirle okk. i had similar issue i also got a new psu and it was working fine for 1-2 days then it happened again thought my gpu's gone i had it checked it was working perfectly fine then idk somehow i spotted 3 of the pins of the gpu slot which (i m not sure) is for powering the gpu were not making contact to gpu.

check the mortherboard check if theres any blinking light
this screams broken power supply
or maybe CPU isn’t fully seated

Maybe buy a motherboard
@@FurryFirle no integrated on non -G ryzen units
try jus 1 stick of ram at a time
