I looked up the "Hamamaru" and could not find a reference to this ship. There are a couple of sources that show this ship to be the "Hinkomaru". Here are a couple of sites I found that points to this ship being the Hinko-maru: www.divejapan.com/ctw_ogasawara.htm www.pacificwrecks.com/ships/maru/hinko.html www.tracesofwar.com/sights/31028/Ship-Wreck-Hinko-Maru.htm The last site has a recent picture that seems to be the ship Maaike & Takeru were exploring. What do you think? I used "Google Translate" to convert your text in Japanese to English. That program may have reported the name wrong. "Hama" seems to translate to the english word "Beach".
That is a VERY cool shot. It is interesting to see the progression of the ship over the years. Your picture confirms for me that it is indeed the "Hinkomaru". The exposed structure matches the structure the Hinkomaru had. Also, all records show that this is the final resting spot for the Hinkomaru and I can not find any reference to a ship named the Hamamaru. Do you have more pictures of this ship? You should post them all online. This one is fantastic.
Great video as always, thank you, guys! I really love Japan and with your help and your hard work I can see and learn something new every time! Love from Italy :D
Takeru and Maaike, what a beautiful video. It’s Kai from the Sharehouse :) I didn’t know this video existed until today. Only after a friend told me about a video I was in. It was so heartwarming to see you guys have such a wonderful time here on our island. Hoping to see you guys soon for round two :) 行ってらしゃい
The drone footage is really nice. I thought that because the island(s) are a world heritage site that drone flying was not allowed unless you had a permit. You fly it well, Takeru. I really like the footage you shot of the two of you walking along the ridge line on the way to the exclusive beach. How did you lose your drone recently? Tell us what happened. I LOVE LUV your nature themed videos. Even the cycling videos are mostly nature related.
I questioned myself how you filmed every scene, so stunning! Your video showed me it is the best place in Tokyo^^ The Ogasawara islands are worth a long long voyage, "しかし後悔しない"
How did you lose the drone? I would love to hear about it. It is part of telling the story and we are interested in it. The two of you do excellent video work. I LOVE all of the nature stuff the most (forest/mountains/waterfalls/beaches).
Thank you for this beautiful video! I was thinking about going to Ogasawara as well and wanted to take my drone with me. Upon some research, their tourism bureau stated that drone flights require permission/inquiry. The response to my initial inquiry in a nutshell was that most parts of the island require a permission or expert opinion about endangering the birds. Also that flying above the national forest requires special permission (also entering by foot isn't allowed? It seemed as if most of the island and coast are national forest). I wanted to ask what your preparations regarding drone flights were. Also, it seemed as entering the national forest by foot is completely forbidden but most parts of the island are national forest. There are still a lot of hiking opportunities, right? Sorry for the long comment. 🙈 (I will also pursue my inquiry with their tourism bureau)
Ong Wui Chong we stayed for 4 days I think, stayed at sharehouse Umi and the things we did, are all in the video (well most of them) ! We rented a car as well which made things so much easier !
Your videos are always so well made.😍 I love them! I don't know why you don't have more subscribers, you definitely deserve them! 🤔
Im just going to turn your videos into a travel wishlist. Absolutely beautiful and immersive😍
KemushiChan ロレッタ ☺️☺️☺️ Yours too ❤️

What share house did you manage?
@@AbeNomiks Its the place they stayed in the video.
Gorgeous place! Would love to go there one day and experience what you both were able to.
Beautiful video!
Beautiful.
First time I’ve heard of a green sunset. Wow
maake and takeru such a nice skin diving bideoand drone nice aerial view domo arigato best to you maaku
very informative thank you.

cimajeen Vet Our videos took us already one lost drone, one lost gopro and one accident with our new drone. It comes with a price hahaha
You and Takeru are a kind of superman who can travel all the terrain! Both of you are physically high-powered! ^_^

your videos are always so special!
Great video BUT I though flying a drone on Ogasawara anywhere over land is prohibited.
I loved this place!🌄 🐋 The Blue Lagoon
Uwaaaaaa zo mooi!!! Super!! En zo goed becmmenteerd haha

HI, wonderful video. I am planning to visit someday too. Is it possible to share your itinerary? Do you still can recall? Thank you.

Did you eat turtle?
