Just stayed for the first weekend at our new camp in phillips me. It took the builder about 5 weeks to build. Now we have to finish the inside. Love watching your videos have a good winter, look forward to watching more from you. And I also love cutting and splitting wood off of our woodlot.

My Son got his Moose on the last day October 1st.489 lbs,25.5 spread on antlers. Zone 2 North Woods.Getting fall chores done,haven't completed summer ones.
@@NB88 no I really don't hunt for them... been really busy lately toke advantage of the crazy real-estate market and sold one of my income properties only have one left hopefully will have time to slow down to do more of what I want... lol planning on getting ready for retirement with in the next 5 years...

Just had a couple of nights in the 20s, so nippy in Rangeley & Pittsburg NH areas. Kioti acres good but for me might have to be raccoon acres, plenty of raids around here. Poplars the last to shed leaves for me, birch and maples are about off.

I was recently diagnosed with lymes disease and have lost my ability to walk, I have property in northern Mn and have not been able to make it up there this year. I have been trapped in my home watching the seasons change threw the windows 😢. I really appreciate your videos and they give me hope to also one day be back camping and doing the up north property chores! Cheers and thank you 🍻

Wow that recipe! We approve and I’m stealing it. As far as naming the cabin, I’d ask your daughter. It makes it more personalized. Our friends named our Lake House the “Love Shack” when we bought it. We were newly weds at the time. Thus the name of my BBQ team. Anyway, glad to see Fall is upon you. Hurricane Ian just kicked our butts here at The Shack. Lots of damage, but the Smokers and Grills survived 😅.
A wise wood cutter once told me, when you split wood by hand never aim for the centre and aim off to one side or the other because it will split easier. ✌🏻🇨🇦
I think it should be camp. Acres is more of a camp for a family. You are more like the Boss of the Swamp show where he calls it a Camp. Stay with mine Dale.

Best thing about splitting wood is it warms you twice. Once when you split it and once when you burn it. 🔥 I actually like doing it.
