Jimmy Carr telling an unnecessary joke... brill!.. wait for it... wait for it...? That's it? This is mediocre pretty much bog standard jimmy Carr! Funny, but not a patch on his sharp brutal wit... all you are trying to do ch'4 is hype up the meaning of "unnecessary", so the next time somebody does say something unnecessary for humours sake, you can slam them for being "racist homophobic sexist xenophobic" etc... comedy is dying a rather slow and painful death and it's all thanks to people like you with tactics like this. I hope ch'4 and the rest of the propaganda shoving ch's die with the BBC, I hope snowflakes melt, I hope safe spaces are filled with danger and the "woke" movement go back to "slept"!!!!

But now he’s making me out to be some kind of sex addict or, you know, really into bondage or whatever. And I much prefer that. I’m not a brazen extrovert, but I’m not as blushing or demure as people might think. It’s about fitting in - being part of the tribe.”

Try to sustain a laugh through a 'knowing look'. Wonder why everyone is so surprised at Jimmy Carr saying something sex-related. Wonder 'maybe I missed something, plus the joke is still evolving behind me'. Look around. No, theyre just simpletons. Take a sip of waree to look active. @@meetaverma8372 Because he just looked at me like he was going to use my head as a soccer ball. It's so out of character for him that it's amazing.
I've lost count of the times i've seen this clip, but it literally cracks me up EVERY TIME! The panels reaction was priceless, jimmy totally went off script with that joke! 😂😂😂
i think it's more about the panel than Jimmy. Jimmy has said worse things on this show but it was always brushed of lightly. This one on the other got too much attention because of the others, as if they're not on Susie's side this time.
Jimmy Carr's talked about this: they were in a meeting to talk about the jokes on the show and someone came up with the idea of acting like Susie Dent was "a slag". Susie was actually in on the meeting and she thought it was, at least, a good enough idea to keep doing it for years.
When you know the jokes beforehand based on which clothes they wear it's time to stop watching these clips... Oh who am I kidding? I'm never going to stop watching
I watched this episode with 5 other people. After the others calmed down after what was said on this show, I said "WTF is a glory hole?" and without explaining what it is, they all broke out laughing again...but LOUDER!
Susie is a comic genius pulling together “that” look right at the end when everything had gone off the rails. Tilt of the head. Dagger stare. Brilliant.
You mean that of a bad comic. It takes a lot of talent and effort, this is meant seriously not sarcastically, for someone who is good at what they do to play a bad version of it. To take it outside of comedy it takes a talented singer to sing badly and a good musician to play badly, when needed.

He's normally perfectly straight faced even when telling an absolutely inane yet stupidly funny joke.

@@amaterasu799 but why would you be scared of your best friend?
@@meetaverma8372 Because he just looked at me like he was going to use my head as a soccer ball. Anywho, my point was that yes, Tom Allen does generally give off a "gay best friend" vibe, which is why that death glare was surprising in how menacing it looked. It's so out of character for him that it's amazing.
Jimmy's execution is so on point it's insane.
Joe missed a big one: the Rachel doll should have been painted with 2 left feet!!
Of course Jimmys Roast was great but Tom's love story was also an absolute banger 😅
It's been 3 years and I still laugh everytime I watch it again lol
8 out of 10 does Countdown is possibly one of the best shows on TV.
I've lost count of the times i've seen this clip, but it literally cracks me up EVERY TIME! The panels reaction was priceless, jimmy totally went off script with that joke! 😂😂😂
Nobody noticed that Susie’s doll had a picture of naked Joe?😂
I love that Joe and Róisín’s reactions were the same, just marvelling at the unnecessary nature.
This is improved tremendously if you watch it in context of the rest of the show.
The mere thought of Suzie glaring inside like “Ooooooooo thats an interesting one!....... CLICK” my god that was amazing! Just 4 years late 😂
Gosh she doesn't look very happy at 3:52
segoviate I think that’s just her natural face 😂
Do you mean he's taken the piss out of Suzie more than anyone else? Taking the piss doesn't mean receiving it. It means dealing it out.
i think it's more about the panel than Jimmy. Jimmy has said worse things on this show but it was always brushed of lightly. This one on the other got too much attention because of the others, as if they're not on Susie's side this time.
That deadpan thousand yard stare is what sent me over the edge 🤣
Botox.
2:51 is the part you're all looking for
I watched this episode with 5 other people. After the others calmed down after what was said on this show, I said "WTF is a glory hole?" and without explaining what it is, they all broke out laughing again...but LOUDER!
That is one of the funniest lines of all time!
Susie is a comic genius pulling together “that” look right at the end when everything had gone off the rails. Tilt of the head. Dagger stare. Brilliant.
You know you've earned a place in hell when Jim makes you laugh your lungs out.
It’s very hard to have a bad day when Joe Wilkinson is in the house! He’s hilarious even when laughing at someone else’s joke. 😂
Toms part reminds me of the end of my first relationship. It makes me laugh so hard but I am looking on it with hindsight.
That Laugh of Jimmy Carr's OMG
Joe: “The most unnecessary joke.”
Jimmy: Repeats the question with a straight face, implying that it’s not a joke.
Jimmys joke was so good it got Joe to break character 😂
You mean that of a bad comic. It takes a lot of talent and effort, this is meant seriously not sarcastically, for someone who is good at what they do to play a bad version of it. To take it outside of comedy it takes a talented singer to sing badly and a good musician to play badly, when needed.
dont blame jimmy , joe started it lol
He didn't..
Susie @ 03:52 .. Well, NOW I am! 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Love Susie’s upward glance in response to “Glory Holes” and subsequent “What have you been looking into? 😂🥰
You know a joke is unnecessary when Joe Wilkinson thinks you've immediately gone too far.
Joe and Roisin's reactions though 😂
The sheepish “sorry suzi” really got me
When Joe Wilkinson says it's the most unnecessary joke. You better listen.
Lmao that just came out of left field and killed everyone XD
