A real shame that I had to miss the 2011 East Penn Meet. I had no way to get there in that 'out of the way' location. I could find nobody that could give me a ride. I missed the meet in New Brunswick for much the same reasons. My mobility is quite limited and nobody would give me a ride.
Is it not possible to more accurately mimic/depict the acceleration/deceleration dynamics with 'pulse' power transformers. Seems a shame that such incredible scale detail is held back only by the unrealistic movements.......

They could be more realistic with DCC progamming. Also there weren't many people on an otherwise outstanding scale display.

I think it's because they use DC power blocks.
