I’m so sorry you had a tough day at the office at Boston, but the way you are viewing it is absolutely incredible and an inspiration. It’s 1 of the reasons I’ve fallen so in love with running. Running does teach you a lot about life
Molly I saw you at mile 14 and even thought you were struggling it was so inspiring to see you. I actually got chills as you ran by. Good luck in your training and at worlds!
Everyone needs a person like Molly. Funny, real, tells what you need to hear (whether it's tough or not) just an all-around great human being. Can't wait for World Champs!
Champagne problem.....such an outstanding/worldly perspective, and furthermore, your attitude about learning from a struggle is inspirational. I think you're wonderful for the sport. A hip tweak means nuthin'. Enjoy the journey.
Molly you're an inspiration to many people. I like your honesty, passion, and all the other things that makes you the person you are. 😉 . All the best to you, and thank you for posting this video.
Honesty is the best policy, and to be honest about not ending a race the way you wanted can be even more inspiring to those looking to finish their first race
Love you!!!!!! Your such an amazing athlete and role model!!!!!!!!! Your race in Arizona was 🔥 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 you crushed it!!!!!!!!! can’t wait to see you kick ass in July!!!!!!!!! 🤩🤗 sorry about your Boston Marathon!! I’m sure next time you run it you will be in the top 3!!!!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😎🔥 Let’s go Molly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's not a setback, it's a building block. Best thing that could have happened to you at this point in your career. You were super aggressive, but you couldn't manage the pace so you made a great decision to step off the course and preserve yourself. Marathoners don't get unlimited bites at the apple, every one you complete is one less that you have left to do. Congratulations on your success, I'm confident you'll figure it all out.
Molly, I love the Velocity Nitro 2 but why can't Puma offer more colorways and have the full size range? This is nuts. Puma's supply chain is terrible.
Molly is the coolest chick in running in forever. She's real, she's funny, she's relatable...I'd have a beer or six with her. I got a new cat about six weeks ago, and guess what I named her...Molly!!😁 Having said all that...she needs to learn to say no to all the BS that's draining her and distracting her (in my opinion.) If she wants to keep improving, she needs to get her pre Olympics focus back. She's being stretched too thin. My two cents.
Unfortunately, she will probably just have to manage it better going forward as sponsorship requirements (like appearances, talk shows, etc) won't go away. Especially when you are such a straight up BA/Olympian like Molly. We all want to see her and hear her take on the race. If anything, the pre-race commitments will probably get even bigger. Excited for a strong showing in Oregon!
@@jimoconnor8597 I would LOVE to see her win a medal. I see her as a championship type of marathoner, as opposed to a fast time marathoner. I see her winning more medals in the future, but I don't see her running 2:19 or 2:18.
@@stevestarr9769 Man I feel like in the future, you will have to be a 2:18-2:17 marathoner, even in championship races, to earn a medal. The way times are going and the number of women running fast times is insane. I'm all about the Big Cat Energy though!
@Steve Starr Saying no to all that bs could mean lack of sponsorships and money to support her career. In order to devote her life to running and still have all of the high end equipment needed so has to make money at what she does. That's why she has so many obligations. It's tough but judging from this video I think she recognizes that it's a necessary evil.

Oh man! That is a ton of events leading up to the race. I would be exhausted. So excited to see the rest of your 2022!! We are rooting for you!
So glad you shone a light on the fact that the loop is, in fact, not 1200m, but rather 1181m.
Best David Attenborough impression! :D

This is the most serious I've seen you in an interview. Big hugs and bigger hugs ❤
Train strong and rest well.
Well stated and real. Classic Molly.
Love the honesty... if you never take chances you'll never know

Running and history???! You had me at “Harvard college”
I understand why your quads are so sore. Mine were absolutely shot by mile 21 and I held on from there…….

This was fucking sick.

Stay away from those burritos from an undisclosed source
It's one race. Next up, Eugene.
Her sister looks and even sounds just like Molly lol
like like like like like like
Great job by Amy Schumer at the fan expo.
🏃♀️💨
I finished Boston and Molly dropped out. Does that mean that I beat Molly Seidel in a race?
Did any senior men beat the top overall woman?
So much for equal pay for equal work.
