"You'd toss me aside over this?!" Sweet mercy the voice actor stabbed me through the heart with that line. He sounds genuinely hurt there. Even though he's a vampire who just tried to bite you in your sleep, he still takes it hard when you throw him out for it.
I have no idea what this series is about, but this character Astarion is so fascinating. Everything from the voice acting to his facial animations and mannerisms are so compelling and lively. He's a treat to watch!
WHEN IS THIS COMING OUT?! Will it be on PC? Is this like dragon age? Can you choose your characters gender? Will you be able to customize your character? Is this open world at all? Are there romantic relationships? I recently got this in my recommended, and it seems fantastic. I WANT!
1st: the full release will be around october of the next year 2nd: it's only for pc, stadia and mac os 😢 3rd: kind of? It falls more on the dnd theme, with most choices dependin on luck and your stats for example 4th: yup 5th: name, race, class, you name it 6th: yup, it will be exploratory with an open world 7th: there are about 6 romantic choices, 3 males and 3 females Also I feel you 😂😂😂 i just searched for info on the game in google and now youtube keeps recommending me clips of the game, specially with Astarion and Lae'zel, not that i'm complaining tho 😏
I really wish there was a "let me get a cup" option because IF I was ever gonna donate to a vamp that's the only way id ever do it. and thank you for the videos
Yeah, letting him actually bite you seems really stupid (even if he doesn't kill wouldn't you be worried about infection or domination?). And you let him do it on the goddamn neck with you lying down. It's one thing to want to help him out but do you have make yourself as vulnerable as possible? And wtf is the rest of the party doing during this? Even if they are asleep (shadowheart is chilling in the back but I will assume she is suppose to be sleeping) surely the commotion should wake them up? at the very least you should have the option to wake them. If you were going to let him feed off you then you would probably want someone else there to kick his ass if need be. Would also have been nice to have the option to offer to help him hunt an animal since he is weakened. Y'know helping out without being like 'sure, notoriously evil creature whom I meet not long ago and have no reason to really trust, take my blood!
@@BriarKnight even if he is just a spawn theres a basic knowledge of vampires if he wasn't trustworthy he would have shown this idk alot about buldars gate but I know a bit about dnd what the player did was more common sense than anything- submission ever think the player knew that if Ast really wanted to he could have took the players blood by force really easy without them being conscious of it
@@radical9799 what? He already tried to drink your blood by force without you being conscious, you woke up before he could. And why would have 'already have shown he wasn't trustworthy'...beyond the obvious trying bite your in sleep thing. You aren't trustworthy by default and people who aren't don't generally want to telegraph this fact. He is also a self serving, amoral asshole of a rouge even before you get to being a vampire. AND even if you did believe him that he had no intention of actually killing you (I don't think he does BTW since he needs help with the tadpole, I just don't think a character in this story should be so sure of that) you are banking everything on a desperate, starving vampire having enough self control to stop mid feed (he doesn't if you fail those persuade checks) and taking zero precautions.
@@BriarKnight no ones trustworthy from the get go, ik that, that's basic sense I'm saying hes trustworthy because of his actions regardless of whatever it is he has to say- 1 if you had the power to take things from others easily and effectively with a cunning mind you would unless you wanted to build trust, it's understandable that he tried to bite in the sleep because even if he was a good guy almost people think a monster is a monster and cant be good or reasoned with, so it makes sense that he wouldn't want to start a fight if it could be avoided, I naturally see flaws in logic when it comes to things I'm well versed at regardless of how long he would have been without blood his abilities wouldn't have weakened, if he was really evil or malicious or not trustworthy he could have charmed the PC and asked for a bite and the pc would have let him, if this is going by dnd rules then when the pc found out he did this they most likely would have caught him he had multiple options to choose from and he choose the ones that he thought would be less likely to start a fight
I've been binging clips of this game (I almost said show) even after a 12 hour play through (hah! I am so addicted!!) I just wanted to give a shoutout to the female narrator. Ive watched a lot of clips today from before her voice was put in, and although I'm a total Astarion simp, she really adds to the game! Didn't realize how much, shes the icing on the cake. _in Astarions voice_ : Makes everything feel, I dont know, whats the word, mysterious and seductive? hahaha I need to rest.
I'd like to see more options about how to feed him, and whether you wake up a party member to keep an eye on you if you do. I'd also like to be able to say yes in a way that doesn't come off all rude -- "take what you need" or "if you're careful" or "as long as I can still fight in the morning" or whatever. Honestly, the whole encounter seems like it'd wake up at least *one* other member of the group, if they're around. Some of them are actual adventurer types, it's unlikely that they're all heavy sleepers.
Yes. I failed both Persuasion checks (first was 3 and failed, thanks game) and he killed me. He also spills your blood everywhere if he does. SHitter dosn't even have the desency to clean up after he murders you.
@@elainelh I think its a bug, I have tested it many times and sometimes he doesn't do it and sometimes it's some one else, it feels so random I think it's not meant to be like that

Asatarion: *Tries to sneakily feed*
Shadowheart: I am right here. You see me right?

Slower. Veins on the torso and especially near the head are bigger, you gotta irrigate that brain of yours, the faster the better.
