I enjoyed the video, so interesting. I just made some soap a couple days ago with coconut oil, Shea butter and some canola oil. I do want to try your soap recipe with coffee, thanks for sharing.
Hi Ian, mr. Soapmaker😂. Thanks for this video. Good job. My name is Vivian and I'm also a soapmaker. I live in Curacao. It's nice to meet other soapmakers from the Caribbean engaged in making their own soaps and bodycare products. I look forward to seeing more of your soapcreations.
I'm so gratified to see you making soap with fractionated coconut oil. So many people say you can't make soap with fractionated coconut oil. I don't know where that myth comes from. I've made many batches with it, and it's my favorite soap. I suppose people might think you have to have the lauric and myristic acids to make bubbles, but the capric and caprylic acids in FCO make great bubbles. Moreover, FCO is so intense, I can reduce the amount of coconut oil and leave more room for fun stuff. I've never made soap with that much shea butter, but I'm always willing to experiment. Thanks for the inspiration. I just subscribed. I hope your channel grows and grows!
@@datbat1 FCO is more easily accessible where i am, so it has become my go to. I get really nice bubbles even at 15% useage rate. Thanks and really appreciate it!!
@@Earth2Flo-v6f Hey yes of course essential oils can be used (2% or less)..i used 60g of water in the instant coffee..and also some undissolved instant coffee to add texture to the soap..hope that helps 😁
I'm from Melbourne Australia and I've been making soap for quite a while but I;ve never seen coffee soap and now I will try it
@@teecee3143 awesome, its really nice...go for it.

Can I use essential oil rather than the fragrance oil? Please❤ and what type caffe and how much water into the instant coffee?

Can the coconut oil be a solid in the container? And does it have to be fractinated or can it be just organic cold pressed?
@@Earth2Flo-v6f yes you can use organic cold pressed...its actually preferred by many.
