That Squid Game joke is so good that I’m surprised I hadn’t heard it before. One of those that makes way too much sense after you’ve heard it-“how didnt I think of that” sort of thing. Amazing.

The larger shows feel weird though. He can't connect with a huge room. Also he been doin too much Flagrant stuff - I like all those guys, but they're not unique entertainers like Andrew is. I think he stopped producing his own individual content for too long. His videos used to get a lot more views than this.
Schultz will go down as one of the best comics to ever take the stage if he stays on this trajectory. His ability to effortlessly move around almost any topic and find the hilarity in it is consistently amazing.

Honest to god that's the first time I've laughed out-loud that hard at anything coming from a screen. That Squid Game joke is inspired, because it stumped me and apparently everyone else in that audience. Perfect setup, perfect timing, perfect punchline.

@@vn5774 Ok. I totally agree with you. Although we first must repeat the saying :comedy is subjective, opinions are subjective, taste is subjective. That being said I will always, I mean always, watch Burr rant all day long and he gives different kind of vibe. Just like him I will always watch Chappelle again and again, for the comedy but also he is sort of a storyteller, and tackles social issues with jokes, like he said, he dont like ''wokes''. Carlin is the thinker as well, storyteller, social commentary jokes, life advice jokes, so he will stay for generations to come. I like Ricky Gervais as well, long before the Golden Globes, but he gives social commentary as well. I was late into getting into Schultz, but after watching his crowd work and podcast, he is one of the funnier comedians of our generation, he is very intelligent and likes different cultures and history and geography and he is going all even in his crowd work to the point that people want to find seats in a front row just to be roasted by him. That's his shtick and nobody is getting mad. So you can say to someone that he has law standards ( I know it was not you) but you commented as a reply to the other guy as if to prove him wrong. HE is also still young so he can't achieve the status of legendary comics. But he's up there. We are not going to name them all cause they are all acquired taste. Norm McDonald is not for everybody but he is now in the legendary comics for many people who payed attention after his death. So.. by listing all 3 of them implies you can't choose just one comics as favorite because each of them tickles certain aspect of your humor. Given that Andrew is up there and going and doing shows, you can't simply dismiss someone with such a strong statement '' law standards eh'' instead of saying he is just not in my Top comics. (Again I know it was not you, but as I was reading and the other guy didn't reply, and you listing your 3 favorites, I presumably am taking your comment as if it was his reply. So nothing personal. Just a conversation about the way of expressing to people and contributing to the discussion - exchanging personal opinions. Not grading the comics by any objective metrics to prove the other person wrong. Just like my opinion is mine and it wont change the liking of a person of a certain comic. All the best,

I like the fact that his jokes feel almost like a conversation he has his bits but when hes talking to the crowd its natural jokes flowing that's fire to me.
