What surprises me in japan was the honesty and safety. People just leave their things on the table like cellphone, bag or wallet just to reserve the space when they order in a fastfood and no one dare steal their stuff, in my country when you do that expect that it will be gone the moment you leave your things unattended.

You're right, and I've experienced it. But Japan is a homogenous (for now) society that has been closed off to the world for most of its history. They aren't worse than what I've seen elsewhere, but they are trying to be better and things are changing quickly. I see children of various backgrounds in average public schools being treated as equals, for the most part. I also see extra support for those who truly want to immigrate. They've opened their arms to Ukrainians as of late with a lot of support. Racism really seems to come from older generations here based mostly on fear of the unknown or fear of change. Otherwise, it's a tiny minority of nationalists. Nothing is inherent to Japanese society. Hell, through history, they were awful to their own based on how poor they were. Compared to that, they're fine now. The more you know, the less different it all is.

when we had the IRA bombings in the 70's all the trash cans were removed which was a pain, and never came back, but taking rubbish home ought to be second nature. we've had various anti litter campaigns over the years, to no great success, i think the emphasis ought to be on disease, we highlight the fact that trash is ugly and anti social but the reason we shouldn't litter is hygiene. what surprises me (human nature eh) is that it's okay to carry a coke tin and crisp packet, until they are empty, then they MUST be disposed of ASAP like they are radioactive or will kill if you don't throw them on the street immediately. humans are neurotic.
12:51 I am not agree with that lady. I always rent my pocket wi-fi from France and catch it in the post office of the airport or in the wifi rent office. And it's easy to give the pocket wifi back. when we had the IRA bombings in the 70's all the trash cans were removed which was a pain, and never came back, but taking rubbish home ought to be second nature. we've had various anti litter campaigns over the years, to no great success, i think the emphasis ought to be on disease, we highlight the fact that trash is ugly and anti social but the reason we shouldn't litter is hygiene. what surprises me (human nature eh) is that it's okay to carry a coke tin and crisp packet, until they are empty, then they MUST be disposed of ASAP like they are radioactive or will kill if you don't throw them on the street immediately. humans are neurotic.
These are great questions!
I can compare my country to Japan but I can say I want to live in Japan i can see my life here.
The lack of trash cans. In the States you have them all over. And trash all over as well.
Now because of your videos I have to learn Kanji 😎
Naruto is also my favourite anime and my favourite character is Itachi.
Great videos!
12:51 I am not agree with that lady.
I always rent my pocket wi-fi from France and catch it in the post office of the airport or in the wifi rent office.
And it's easy to give the pocket wifi back. You just have to put it in a post box!
The next time i will buy a sim card. More easier to use than to have an other devise like a pocket wifi.
Guy from Ghana seems nice and likeable
