Joey, ive been going through some real tough shit recently and your outlook on life has really given me perspective. My mom died when I was a sophomore and my dad died when I was 8. I have a daughter that I'm fighting to get back. But I have to handle my court cases first. I'm completely sober for the first time in forever and your stories and comedy has kept me on a new high. Thank you for being one of the greatest normal dudes out there. Not to be cheesey but you are my hero man! I hope I get to see you live in person one day! Or hopefully become successful enough to be able to shoot the shit with you for a few hours on a podcast.

I love Joey and Lee discussing comedy. Joey is an elder statesman of the craft and gives so many useful pointers as a live performer. I’m a guitarist, but I’ve always thought live music and stand up have a lot of parallels. It’s all about the hustle and projecting yourself.

Thank You guys so much for keeping at it, I'm 41 Irish and I have been a heroin addict for 22 years and I'm 2 years off it still on methadone and diazepam. My father had another stroke (not a tia a big one this time) on Shrove Tuesday the day before Ash Wednesday so 10 weeks in hospital today and he's getting better still can't talk he can swallow he's 74. I have not been allowed to visit the home until this. I just wanted to thank you for making me laugh and forget for an hour every Tuesday. Weed helps a lot. God Bless from Éire. Tiocfaidh ár lá! 🇮🇪
