I would love to see him on a 250cc 50hp shifter kart :) I never raced karts officially but have done way over 200laps in my life on rentals and my own gx140 (super old) kart and my cr125 shifter kart when I was 11. Boy that thing was wild when I could barely touch the pedals and my helmet would lift up at 90km/h+ faceguard on my eye level and couldnt see anything on the backstraight of our local track 😂
Stellar episode 😂 I'd love a series of vids with these carts, make them more reliable, then faster with another 400 quid, a gymkhana, grass karting and so on 👍
It'd have been great if you'd shown what races/classes these carts were eligible for. I made the mistake of buying a cheap race bike once, and only after found out what class it could run in... and it wasn't a cheap class.
honestly, a half decent go-kart on a track is probably more fun than most expensive cars driving on the road. The g-forces you can experience in a go-kart are like race car like.
I used to race pro karts in the 90's. They are way more fun than you would imagine a couple of genny engines on a frame could be and you can actually get some speed out of them - over 90mph in some places on some tracks. There was some pretty good racing on them back then. The more modern GX200's drop straight on too...
I have a Meyer's PCR engine here in Fontana Ca in great condition, it just needs a pulse feed carb. I have no use for it, if you know someone who wants to build a vintage kart and needs an engine let me know, I'll let it go to the right person for a very reasonable price. 💪🏼😎🏁✌🏼
One of the Endurance classes I race is similar to the current Pro Kart, with twin Gx200's. Raced a 6hr on the weekend with a new co-driver, I did about 4hrs of the race, we won our class by 17 laps (11 in class) and P10 outright from 33 karts, only missed the outright podium by 4 laps. The other endurance class I race is single Briggs Lo206's.
I think Andrew The Child might want to consider another, more intimidating, moniker. Put a little fear in his opponents' minds to gain an edge. Rodney The Child, maybe? 😁
Idk why it’s taken me so long to figure out why I love you guys, but it just now hit me. You lot are basically the future top gear/grand tour trio and I fucking love it
The orange jumpsuit looks like a track official or road worker lol. The only segment missing was each driver's best time in each cart. Bragging rights for whoever can get the best time in the slow one
Nowadays, you can pick up a 90s 100cc kart in reasonable condition at the same price. I'm sure Scott probably knows them well and knows why a moderately experienced driver might want to look into owning one...especially a cash strapped one that might be looking for a way out of club car racing? Just a slight prod ;)
Been to this track a few times as its a 10 min drive from me, had a big crash on turn 6 or 7 and nearly flew out the cart, great track though it's like a mini interlagos
9:52 Their local track marshal was still waving the flag more enthusiastically than Tim Cook at COTA.
Callum looks like a grounds keeper or custodian
so bloody true
Tim Cook's flag waving looked like an open casket funeral.
Good ol Tim the Tetraplegic.
Apple?
It would be awesome to see you guys make a series about modifying the carts and making them faster
Upvote this ∆∆∆
Yes 🔥🔥🔥
I can guarantee one of them will try to turbo their kart
Yes please!!!

He's on supervised release.

I love that you guys got a kid as your “Stig” medium. Lol hilarious.
Cheap go-karts are so much fun. I started my "racing carreer" with a DIY Birell shifterkart i bought for 400 bucks.
The child absolutely sending it down that corner at 9:34
I thought so too.
Btw, please report the spam account that's also commented here :)
That’s my child, No really it is “andrewskartingvids”
I’m loving these series; can you do some homebuilt hillclimb or autograss cars next?!?!?!?!?!
Oh brilliant mate !! mwahahahaha
can we just appreciate how fast andrew the child attacked those corners like holy cow
@andrewskartingvids 😎

lol, this is like the Topgear we never had :D loved this lol nice one lads
I love how you just labeled Andrew as ''The Child''
"All we know is, he's called The Child!!!"
@@Litl_Skitl "Some say he prefers his milk cold, and that he just got an A on his math test..."
We definitely need a series of you guys modding these
Andrew (I know him as Eclipse) is an absolute legend. Aside from his successes in carting he’s also a prolific sim racer. See you on ACC soon Chonka
:)))
He’s awesome but I might be a bit biased 🥰
is he your son? raised that one right mate @@Blair357ci

Loving the variety of content. You could keep rotating through all your ideas, doing the vehicles up gradually and facing new challenges.
Always nice to see the most gracious and humble winner smoke the field.
2:46 I wonder what happened to the brake test?😂😂😂
Yeah, i'm also curious. Probably they realized that at least one of the gokarts has no brakes, so they cancelled it.
I love these style videos!! Channel has been so good for ages now keep it up lads!!
Dang, those karts would cost $400 just for a bare frame here. A complete and running one would be close to $1000
Even second hand? If it’s $400 for a frame then you might as well try weld your own
@@HateHater2205same for me, working good condition ones are 2k+ here in Australia
All hail the algorithm.
Seriously, someone give these guys a show. I hear Clarkson got the boot, new Grand Tour hosts?
Flagman got a good workout when he was waving at Will's finish.
It'd have been great if you'd shown what races/classes these carts were eligible for.
I made the mistake of buying a cheap race bike once, and only after found out what class it could run in... and it wasn't a cheap class.
They won't be eligible for anything that has a grid - that's why they're cheap.
@@MattDiffey yep
Maybe the 24 hour of lemon karts.

man drifted a go kart like it wasnt anything 9:35
What happened to the smashed up Audi you guys were going to repair and sell? That was the start of what looked like an interesting series.
It was an M3 wasn't it?
probably needs some serious work with local Richard before we can get some proper quality contents.
@@jkliao6486 been over a month though. Surely that's more than enough time to replace half the car lol
@@slinky_malinki5330 It's not like you didn't get any content at all over the past month lol. Some people are never satisfied.

8:56 that is awesome!
3:03 - I love how Will is making Wario noises; serious mariokart vibes
Love to see you guys do some banger racing or drifting
Child vs Callum duel is Verstappen vs Sainz 😂
lol 😂
Andrew being called a child 😭😭
🤣🤣🤣
Ah yes, the Stig's younger nephew, the Child.
🤫🤣👀🏁
Noice. I now challenge you to take a cheap kart, and use all means possible to pump up the power: turbo, nitrous, everything!
I think I properly lost it at “Andrew The Child” 😂
Great fun, thanks for the ride!
Loved this episode , definitely need to do some more challenges like this

That battle between Callum and Andrew the Child at the end was epic
👀🏁
I had fun too👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
£400 prokart is a bargain! Absolutely brilliant video loved it so much!
exactly what I needed! :D thanks guys!
I actually thought you stepped on it by accident then the second sorry came lol 😂😂
The child was absolutely sending it.
He’s not a child 🤣 That’s my boy he’s 19 🏁
Love the content guys!
For the money, Callum's kart was pretty impressive. The other two karts were pretty abysmal.

Nice Top Gear touch that Will and Callum left the tags on their suits.
So much fun watching this video, as always.
Is this Daytona Tamworth? I'm supposed to be racing here soon and my dad says the track and the karts are outstanding, can't wait 🤫🏁
Hey Luigi is a proper cart driver!!
Ah if only I'd knew you were at Daytona, I'd have come down to give you a race
Awesome fellas. Keep it up.
You've got to love the "Mansell Push" across the line.
Man this channel gives me my Top Gear fix. Many thanks.
Love your ideas, amazing stuff. Keep up great work lads :-)
Callum vs the child is the greatest on track rivalry in motorsports history
would be nice if you explained what each kart had on it so viewers could compare better.
Ok when are we going to get The Child vs Scott?
🏁🏁🏁🏁
When you’re making a low budget movie so the prisoner who escaped has a go kart as a getaway vehicle 😂
Callum had some pretty good moves actually looks he had some talent there.
The break test clearly went wrong xD
Clearly a Mario and Luigi inform. Next time get them proper hats.
Does this mean Scott is bowser?
love daytona tamworth cracking track tbh
You guys r making me miss summer, got my dads 125 2 strike shifter kart working last summer and I wanna drive it again now
I think that the overdrive needs to update the photo icon to those 3. Great team
Nothing like bubbly shot directly in your eyes 😆

Might I just request a lap counter when you do a multi lap race again?

What a great idea and very well done
Shame no one bought a 2 stroke kart, that would’ve been sick

Awesome video idea. Maybe quad bikes next?
Havent watched the vid but my first question is, will the lighter two drivers be sandbagged to level the field?
did you keep the tags on the race suit so that you can return it after?
What we learned: don’t buy a gokart because you can rent a way better one for way cheaper
Didn't know you can get karts for that cheap might get one for me
