In the next quatrain he says that no one misbehaved and they were just minunderstood. It means that having fever which I guess is a reference to joy of life, is not a bad thing. With everyone who is both annoyed with Turn Blue (myself a little included) and has only Brothers and El Camino to refer to in terms of the Black Keys' discography, please go back a bit and listen to their other albums until they make a new one. People forget that these guys have been around for a WHILE now, and they have some amazing stuff that not many people have heard before. Use this time to get a real feel and appreciation for the band. Use their older albums as "new" while you wait. Personally recommend "The Big Come Up" and "Rubber Factory" ("The Lengths" is a fucking beautiful song). Trying not to sound like a hipster here, just want people to stop hating. In the end, your opinion is your opinion, but I'm just trying to spread some love :)

In the first quatraint we hear he says;

Acting right is so routine
Fever, let me live a dream"
He tells that acting right is a hard, monotonous behaviour for him and he is beginning to get bored by it so he demands from fever to let him live a dream inwhich he probably will find his joy again. In the next quatrain he says that no one misbehaved and they were just minunderstood. It means that having fever which I guess is a reference to joy of life, is not a bad thing. He says that because secular joy can be regarded as sin by some people. However, I don't understand why he says "Fever got me guilty". Maybe, fever is the life itself. Because later he says;
"It used to be a blessing
But fever's got me stressing
Realize I have been played

So, fever not only gives him joy and pleasure but also pain and agony. That sounds life. It can be also understood as the price of the joy.

Zdenek Nezdaril oh how dare i be curious
This video is GENIUS! Kudos to Director Theo Wenner.
I get the chills every time I see and hear this. This is terrific!!!!
Hey, if Dan Auerbach is the new local reverend--Fuck, I gotta go to church more often.
Always great when Jack MeHoff and Mike Hunt send in their donations
This is such a gen z humor, i can't 😭😭😭
🙌 magic potion is where I started right or during brothers. Anyways completely agree.
Evan Spicer stay down dude
Can't wait to do a cover of this. My next song on my list for sure...

We’ve started a music movement where we feature underground artists to help get them noticed. All great revolutions start small, so join the movement and tell your friends, and who knows maybe you'll be able to get your music featured!
love the concept of your channel, and your execution is pretty great too
They're so weird, and I absolutely love it.
Man, they just keep getting better and better.
The black keys are amazing there songs are so catchy sound orgasmic and their songs are really uplifting and make you feel like you want to bust out some dance moves

when Pat pulls out a Flask to take a swig.
That is exactly what I do at church.
Great video great song ☺️
Did anybody actually pay attention to the names of the donors? Started off with Jack Mehoff and Mike Hunt, had a little giggle then saw Gary Ridgeway, thought it was a coincidence. Then Robert Lee Yates and like 4 other serial killers names popped up and some other names I recognized but couldn't place. Absolutely loved this band before noticing that, now I love them even more! Made my night guys.
Love this song (and Black Keys as well ofc ^^)
Damn, best music video I've seen in a long while. Great job!
