A very good professional player transcends levels, and simply chooses the level of complexity that fits the feeling he wants to serve the song with :) Personally I found that the gains in complexity in the percussion were perfectly adapted to the gains in intensity from the track ! But only slight touches, maybe not all the way. Some things ought to be played 1 loop out of 2, or even 4, or 8, not every single loop. But you can't show this in an under 60s video, showcasing 5 different things at a time 😅
