Some of you might not know but I dance, teach and travel all over US and internationally competing in Latin dancing. This is quite a journey and is very $$$$. On top of that I am not your standard XS/Small size, but a size 8/10. Often times I feel like I fall through the crack: I am not a "regular" size 0-6, but I am not "plus size" sizes 12 and up. And a lot of times I feel invisible because there is a focus on runway sizes and a movement that has been pressing for plus sizes to be more acceptable, and then silence on my size range....What am I? Chopped liver!!??? 😪😢 But that is a whole other conversation that I can keep going with (at another time)... So after many failed attempts to find an inexpensive costume or a dress, and not willing to spend thousands on a new custom made one, I decided to take into my own hands and create one that would fit, look nice, and I would be in love with. This is my third one. First one was a black and red dress, second one was all black classic look, and this third one is black with lace and hot neon pink fringe and crystals. Unfortunately, I never made a video of my first creations 😭. Hope you enjoy it.
PS. I will follow up with another video on how I made matching earrings 😮. I was trying to find a safe pair with same color and that would be safe and not rip any material or fly off, and again after years I gave up, and put the pedal to the metal and Viola!!!

Thank you. There are several ways to attach the fringes, I will def do a video on it, and will show how I attached them this way specifically! 💗💗

Hi Karina. There are a bunch of random stores in Queens and Brooklyn if you are from NYC. But you will have a field day in fashion district 7th ave between 36- 39streets. Bring munchies and patience as there is a lot of fabric and sprakly accessories to go through!!!
