It's winter here in Australia, and I just washed all my slip covers and I love that fresh, crisp look of my sofas until my granbabies come to visit and then start to build a fort. I think the sofa you have now looks lovely. Have a blessed day. ❤🙏

I’ve always wondered how you know what slip covers will fit your sofa as well as yours fit. I only have a comforter on my bed. It’s hot here as well and we don’t even really use the light blanket. As I’ve gotten older some of the cuter decorating things have gone away but I sure enjoy watching beautiful videos ~ Janet 😘

You mix old and new very flawlessly. I say keep your current sofa...it looks great in your home and is in great condition. Plus, you just bought those chairs that go very well with your sofa. The Sixpenny sofas look nice but are soooo expensive. Save that money and put it toward your kitchen reno :)

I wonder Sarah, if you couldn't find or make/have made linen covers for your sofas & cushions. If they're sturdy, well-made sofas, it might be worth the investment. It may not be cheap, especially if they're made to order, but probably cheaper & easier than a whole new sofa.

Hello Sarah, your home is beautiful and peaceful ❤question how do you keep your Pothos plants so green? I'm having issues with mine turning yellow there suppose to be the easiest plant to take care of help any tips 😊🫶
You may be watering it to often. They don't take lots of water & like Sarah fire, its best if they're watered from the bottom.. If your planter had the bottom piece or place it on a dish or some type of tray. Mine sat up high & didn't really get natural light so i just took it outside once a week for a day. If its really hot just make sure is watered well if you take it out. These tips should help.. if not i would do some google research!
I water when the dirt is dry. I go by that with a plant, and how much sun a plant gets, or not enough. I really don’t know much about plants.🥹Still learning.🌱

Mixing new and old is my favorite way to do cottage style too! It has the character, soul & charm from the vintage-but the modern keeps it from looking like a historical set design (nothing wrong with that, but not entirely my style)

Cami from Tidbits, in one of her home tours of her previous home, talks about her Sixpenny sofas. If I recall, she said she didn't love hers because she felt they were too deep to be comfortable. I think they are beautiful, but that review has had me nervous about ordering one. You might want to check out her review. I think Marian Parsons from Miss Mustard Seed loves hers, but I'm pretty sure her model was discontinued.
