Use restore a finish on the legs. No sanding. Legs will look like new. And it’s a good product to have around for other pieces of furniture. Beautiful chairs! Great find.
Old furniture is heavier made, so much better than what they make today. I use Lysol clean & fresh, about 1/4 cup to a gal bucket. I use a microfiber cloth & rub my sofa down. I’m very clean but it always gives it a brighter look & makes me feel better to know it’s clean.

I think Amway LOC is natural. I haven't used it in years but my grandmother used it when she worked in a dry cleaners to get stains, like ink, out of shirts. Again I haven't used it in many years.
I have waited patiently for the perfect items for my home, often asking the Lord for guidance. Many times I’ve been impressed to stop at a certain store and have walked in and spotted the exact thing I was hunting for. Always thrifted and several items I’ve resold after many years of use and they’re still in great condition!

Currently, I'm searching for a side table for either my bedroom or the living room (and I'll switch the living room one into my bedroom).

Love the chairs! When I get something with scuff marks on the legs, etc. I match the wood with colored pencil and pencil it in. If it turns out to be the wrong shade, you can just erase it. I always go a bit darker on the color, but I have found over the years it works amazing and is so simple to do! Just purchase a non watercolor type pencil set and make sure the pencil is sharpened first. Sometimes I have also used a permanent marker. You don't need a paint pen that way.
I use Resolve for upholstery cleaner, you spray it on and let it sit for a while overnight even, don't rub it and the stains disappears...I don't know if it is all natural but it works... Do you still have those green little chairs?
Yes ma'am...its better to buy quality. You can always have them recovered in the future if you want to and you'll still have great pieces of furniture 😊❤
Older furniture is much better made. Sturdier etc. My furniture is thrifted and rehabbed. Better than anything available new. The cleaner would work better if you let it dwell a bit. You'd use much less and less energy expended to. I learned that just recently about spraying laundry stains.. if It's allowed to dwell for at least 15 - 30 minutes before putting in the washer, the prewash/stain spray works better. It's really true.🙂

Use brown shoe polish on legs of chairs...No need to sand..also use distilled water on fabric, if you use any water when cleaning
