That's better than winning against a guy who @least saw his hand & had some kind of idea on how to go about the situation? No fuckn way! Phil thought his opponent didn't look & he said "FUCK HIM" taking advantage of his supposed mistake with no problem, reverse the scenario & it's now unethical to take advantage of a opponents mistake! Hypocrisy @its finest
Phil did nothing wrong, its not like he raised Tony G when he said he was blind. Tony G straight up went all in "blind" before Phil. So what, Phil has to immediately fold his hand or its bullying? Fuck that, he has a choice and calling someone who doesn't know their hand is a good move with ace-jack
Here's the thing about it, neither player was any worse than the other in terms of etiquette, which is why this is so entertaining to watch. You could call it bad etiquette that tony lied (in a poker game), but you'd also have to call it bad etiquette that Phil called his shove knowing that he (Phil) had a great hand. Phil being a sore loser and Tony just rubbing salt in the wound the whole hand makes this so great to revisit even years later
Phil is full of shit. He simply wanted to play his hand and then cry after Tony turned over his better hand. Hell, Hellmuth didn't go into one of his famous raving sessions, so, he is either learning to control himself, or, he has found some wonderful drugs to cure his anger issues.
Tony seemed shady at first. And to some extent maybe it's bad etiquette. But Phil saw his hand, he knew his hand was pretty strong; so it was OK for him to take try and take advantage of Tony who apparently has not seen his hand but not for Tony to take advantage of Phil?
When Phil raised, it was betting over a straddle... If Tony went all in blind betting into him, what should he do? Throw away $6000+ so as to “not take advantage of him”? What are you even saying...

No, he didn't.
No. Sorry... 😂😂😂
" I am sorry, I am really sorry, i am sorry, i think you should retire " 😂
“Pretty sure he looked”🤣🤦♂️
Tony is hilariously disgraceful. That was not cool but if anyone desrves a taste of his own medicine it’s Hellmuth.
That's how impartial judgements can be done : referring to the image we have of someone, and if something not good happens to him, judging the current stuff by referring to the past, even if he's not the culprit here. I hope you don't work for the justice...
@@Gazeldits a comment on internet poke socrates chill
I love how he walks him out. True gentleman
"It's bike time" - A Legend.
Describing it as a tandem bike is even better.
More like the most pathetic excuse for a human being alive. He went on and on acting so low and weak, shaming himself over and over with those antics, and you praise him? I get that manchildren rule the internet but it's gone way too far. We're literally reversing morality and admiring the weakest now
“Call the floor man if you think my hand might be dead then.”
"You don't belong at this level Phil" Tony G
What you get when you mix a bad loser with a bad winner. Tv gold.
phil is always so unbelieving..every situation no matter what, is like "have u ever seen something like this in your life?? i cant believe it..how can this happen?? can u believe it??"..
you know the one where he´s playing headsup vs that hilarious french man? hehehe..love it
I love when people mess with Phill.
I absolutely love Tony G lmao
8:05 underrated part of this clip, the sound of their handshake is hilarious for some reason. Sounds like a cartoon sound effect
It's bad etiquette even though I just tried to take your money because I thought you weren't looking at your cards
Haha deadset tried to take advantage of the fact that he thought Tony didn't look at his hand and it backfired. Good on tony I say
My exact thoughts! You couldn't wait to take advantage & exploit your opponents perceived mistake but he takes advantage of your dumb mistake & you cry foul when someone does the same!?! You win cause your opponent didn't even try to put up a fight-that's how YOU wanna win? That's better than winning against a guy who @least saw his hand & had some kind of idea on how to go about the situation? No fuckn way! Phil thought his opponent didn't look & he said "FUCK HIM" taking advantage of his supposed mistake with no problem, reverse the scenario & it's now unethical to take advantage of a opponents mistake! Hypocrisy @its finest
100%
Capitano... thats exafly what i was thinkiing
This is the funniest thing ever tony g is the best for this
Here's the thing about it, neither player was any worse than the other in terms of etiquette, which is why this is so entertaining to watch.
"I haven't looked" is the most common lie at a poker table...
Phil is full of shit. He simply wanted to play his hand and then cry after Tony turned over his better hand. Or most likely Phil was playing like a total donkey and thought Tony was going to be his best buddy in the world for cash. Phil thinks everyone is just going to give him a cake walk all the time because he's Phil.
@@mikej2279 seems the casters and table disagrees with you. But what do they know about etiquette? 🤷♂️
Actually it was the lady besides Tony that sold the bait for Phil when she said "Without looking?" After tony went all in.lol
TudyZZ ZAZA she was the mastermind in the situation lol.
Joe too.
We need the Tony G/Will Kassouf heads up match.
don't know how many times I've watched this one but it's still funny as hell.
Amazed Phil took it so well.
1:25 - how can he look at those cards and not laugh his ass off?
Hachem is a class act.
I wouldn't trust what anyone says during poker even if they bet on their mother
Stefania, Good Lord you're hot. Sure they I'll accuse me of being thirsty, and they may be true I'll give them that, but it doesn't change the fact that you're sexy. PS. My spirit animal is a lightning bug.
you would think this would be common sense! specially from alleged "professional" poker players... but apperantly getting out smarted by another one is "BAD ETIQUETTE" if you dont put attention to the table and someone makes ups a major lie you cant whine and cry ... you tricked me boo hoo bad etiquette im offended.

Phil was my least favorite player, until i saw this.
My guess is he would have played his AJ exactly the same way if Tony didn't say anything.
Phil Hellmuth talking about the “etiquette” of poker...what a joke. Did he have etiquette while running that cheating poker site? A true scum bag through and through.
And all the whining about 'etiquette'....geez, change your diaper and stop with the whaaaaaaaa
Phil is one of the better poker theatrical props.
@@robertkidwe5613 As said someone else : "Sportsmanship is important, always. It takes a special kind of person to not understand that."
anyone hating on tony here is probably the last person i'd want to have a conversation with. this is a tv game of poker, what he did was hilarious and well within his right. the personal attacks on phil were hilarious, and true.
@SearchingForNessie This made me laugh harder than the video.
@SearchingForNessie That’s a hilarious reply lol
Bluffing any hand is "lying" about its strength. Stupid to think that him lying about looking is any different.
7:45 Phil got himself a yes-man
Tony G is absolutely right. Phil is a bad player and he didn't have to put his chips in... He did it because he thought he was taking advantage of Tony's mistake.
what mistake

i could watch these two all day.
Tony didn't do anything illegal, but Phil's analogy was apt. Coughing during a backswing in golf is also not illegal, just not sportsmanlike.
And yet, this is poker. Not golf. It's like getting mad at another driver in demo. derby for totaling your car.
@@fatcatsnuggleparty4272 And yet, this is golf. Same logic, good analogy. You comment doesn't change anything.
@@fatcatsnuggleparty4272 No, lying about having looked at your cards in a cash poker game is definitely scummy. Your analogy is definitely way less accurate than Phil's. This is 100% an angle shot and poker players don't like angle shots. Phil was willing to bet 250 large that if they polled 20 top pros they would unanimously declare it bad ettiquette and Tony G passed. He knows it was scummy.
Yea but you don’t bluff in golf
@@EccentricArc Why's it called "bluffing" and not "lying?"
Because they're two different words with two different meanings.
Phil's "you lied..." was sad and funny at the same time
He had that look a lover gets after realizing that the other half of the relationship has not only lied, but, has also fucked the shit out of somebody... and enjoyed it so much they can't wait to tell you about it... just to see that look upon your face...
Deal with it Phil, the guy is obviously a POS. Don't associate with, or play with, that caliber of person and you don't have to worry about this kind of thing happening , right?
Both players share some of the responsibility for what happened there. Once done, let it go, forget about it, but don't forget how it happened. Learn from it.
Hell, Hellmuth didn't go into one of his famous raving sessions, so, he is either learning to control himself, or, he has found some wonderful drugs to cure his anger issues.
“Don’t lie!” Is an unbelievable thing to say in poker.
@@casperiito Phil went all in because he thought Tony was going in blind, that’s what he’s saying.
This could be the worst take in all of the comments
“Of course I lied, it’s poker” LOL
Best thing Phil could do for once, is be quiet and comeback next time against Tony G and nail him with the best hand & hope Tony G has the 2nd best hand.
Lol Tony G asked Phil if he looked at his cards and he said, “I think I looked
"HE lied about his hand" isn't that the definition of a bluff?
Husky Himself he didn’t lie about his hand, he made an angle shot. Looking at your cards and said you didn’t, it has zero to do with a bluff, it’s 100% a POS move.
@@blowc1612 don't play poker if your gullible enough to believe whatever another person at the table is telling you
@@junioradult6219 you obviously don’t play poker enough since you don’t understand what an angle shot is.
I once saw a Japanese teenager do that during a match in Egypt to save his grandfather's life
Tony G is an angle-shooter. What he did wasn't a technical violation, as far as I can tell, but it's a clear angle shot.
Phil would definitely not have believed Tony G in a real competitive tournament. But this was a TV Show and the point of TV shows is to entertain the viewers. So I can understand why Phil trusted Tony and wanted to have a little bit of fun.
He got help from that woman who wasn't even in the hand. She should've shut her face
That's funny how Phil is giving lots of lessons about Tony's attitude when he actually wanted to make profit from someone that he thought didn't look at his cards
why tf didn’t the other guy just say ‘yeah I think he looked’ after seeing his cards?? Nothing wrong with that
Years later this still the best bust out
