Thank you for this video... I have 07 Ext and it was exactly as you described.. however I had already changed out the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, starter relay, evap module under the hood and the Ignition switch under the steering wheel before I seen your video... and by the way the fuelpump is under the backseat drivers side... just cut the rug take a grinder with a cutting wheel and make you a door just make sure not to cut deep so you stay clear of wires and hoses... I had just filled my truck up 34 gallons and I was not going to suck it all out just to drop the tank....
Did you order a refurbished ecm? I did an engine swap on my 07 Escalade but re used my original ecm. I have the ecm that came with the swap engine, can I install it?
@ManBluford i ended up selling it. The last time it did it to us, I opened the fuse box under the hood and wiggled all of the relays. I heard a click and then tried, and it started. Maybe try some relays? We also changed the throttle body. Overall, the main reason for selling it was something was going on with either the transfer case the front diff or the transmission. One way to duplicate the issue was holding the brake and giving it gas, and it would make a loud popping sound. I was voice texting this reply, and I didn't proofread it. Good luck.
Also I have a 07 Escalade I put in ecm it started up without keys being learned should I be concerned because I have chip in key why would passkey3 not need programming
I had the Same issue with my 2007 Escalade. Was shutting off at stop lights. Took it to the Cadillac dealership. They scanned it said it was my ECM. They wanted $400 for the ECM at $159 per hour for labor. I purchased an already programmed to my VIN ECM from FlashMasters for $150. Works Perfectly, but I had to do that theft Deterrent thing six times but I got it. Truck even runs better but I have that crankshaft Sensor code now ??
Yes! I refuse to pay a full shop hour for a 5 min process. Just going to get it tuned and have them fix the relearn. Thanks for the added confidence! I'm tires of throwing parts at it but its paid for so... Thanks for watching! Hit that subscribe button if you get a chance
@@redneckweekly Yes Sir. Subscribed. Let me know if having it tuned helped the Relearning of the Camshaft Sensor code P0315/P0315P if so please let me know the how to. Thanks agin Sir.
Its very easy. You just need the scan tool that can enable the cpk relearn process. Go to scan tool with option. Turn on relearn. Then, once engine temp is at 170 degrees. Hold down the break. With the break presses you floor it and let the rev limiter stop it at 4k RPM keep it floored for 3 seconds... Clear codes... light gone! Takes less than 5 min if motor is at temperature. My scan tool does not have the option hints why I didn't fix it in the video. You have been driving without fixing it? I'm going to delete the VVT when we tune it
@@redneckweekly Yes Sir. I will look into that type of scan tool. It drives fine. Been driving it. It’s just that engine light 💡 on is annoying. Definitely going to look for a scan tool that will relearn the Crank. Thanks agin Sir.
Just wanted to ask if it fix the issue I have the same problem .no codes drive for 45-60 minutes coming off highway only never street driving. Just dies like if it's out of fuel or evap lock would really appreciate any help
After doing the swap it did not have the problem again for a long time. I'd also put a new throttle body. When the problem occurred again I open the fuse box and wiggled all of the fuses and relays. I heard one of the relays pop and then it started again. I sent them sold the vehicle
Ok, so this is my situation. I was leaving for work and my '08 Escalade will not crank. Battery was changed this past winter, alternator was changed last summer and I have troubleshooter the starter. When I turn the key it just makes a clicking sound like it if were battery dead, but it's not! Should I go ahead and replace the ECM
We’re you able to see the engine light when turning the key on accessory on before you replaced if yes then little Problem if not then something else Bad ecm no engine light on when keys on ignition/. Good ecm check engine light should stay on before you turn the car
I'm not sure why it wouldn't do the relearn. I also hate the VVT. I got my truck back from getting a motor and cam swap and now my caddy is going under the wrench and get a new cam. We are deleting the VVT
Thanks for the video, i put the ecm from my 07 escalade into my 07 yukon & it worked. Now going to get a new battery because my battery is weak asf
Awesome glad it helped

Crazy thing is my issue was a faulty relay! All the drama and it was a bad relay!
Thanks for the view on my video. Glad it helped
@@redneckweekly now it says the crank sensor isn't learned.. any ideas?
I replaced my ECM & Throttle body and the security light isn’t staying on like it’s supposed to during key relearn process
Hey brother I just wanna say thanks for this vid.....my ecu didn't come with instructions and seller was away for the weekend....
Hell yeah brother! Happy it helped! Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here with your ride!
I have very similar problems, I to am doing the ecm currently. Very interested in the body control module
@evanarnold5062 i did not 100% figure it out. I sold it, not knowing the solution. It left me and the family stranded 3 separate times on 3 hr trips
@redneckweekly yup tgey are super problematic

Install the one that came with the new motor
Hey. Did this fix your problem? My 07 Escalade is doing the samething. The dealership replaced the ecm but it's still shutting off sometimes.

I'm not sure on that one. Seems over my pay level lol
Great video. Where did you order the pre programmed ECM from? Thanks!
I put his link in the description at the bottom! GOOGLE: SPAREECM
Hello sir Please is that working with Cadillac Escalade Truck 2012 ??
waiting for your replay
thanks
It can. You just need the correct PCM. At spareecm you provide them the VIN and they will send you the new pcm
Thanks for your reply
so about your car still working fine not stop again and ask you about the anti theft request ??
The video was great btw
Happy to help
Do you have to do these steps if u just disconnected the ecm?
You do not.

Anyone know if this company has a plug and play for an 05?
You give the guy your VIN and he will preflash it for you
Do you have to unplug the battery
I did not disconnect the battery in this video. Maybe you should. But taking the battery out would have taken 2 or 3 times longer

You could see the check engine light when the key was on prior to crank.
Can you do this faster with a GM Tech II?
Still need to do the same process. If your crank sensor doesn't relearn you will still need tech ii
Did you make a follow up video for code P0315 because I changed my ecm out but this code is on P315 guess I’m going to the Dealer omg fyi I hate vvt

It’s your evap canister and your lines are probley clogged up
We had a broken vent hose right behind the block. Replaced it and seems to be fine now
@@redneckweeklyI’m having the same issue. Can you explain just a little more about this hose and where and how to get to it ? Please 🙏🏼
