Agree! Makeup is super personal on your taste and how you look (so face shape, eye shape, eye colour, skin tone etc) and by taste I mean what features you like and want to pop or your personal style. I can relate to your statement it’s great to say a method that works well for you but it’s so annoying as hearing the “everyone else is doing it wrong” term.

There is a lot of videos about warm and cool tone shadows, blush, and bronzers! It is so confusing to me the difference! To me I see dark colors, medium colors and light colors! This is crazy I've been struggling with contouring lately. We must be vibing lol. I think I've found the trick. Using a more rounded brush instead of those thick "contouring brushes" that sit in your cheekbones. Also the shade I'm usually is probably too dark. Thank you!!

Used to do the ear to mouth method too and changing that as well. Gonna be using a lighter hand like you said too. I barely noticed the dryness on you, but thanks for keeping imperfections in rather than blurring it out with a beauty filter. I have acne prone skin and it gives me hyperpigmentation, so you showing what real skin actual looks like is refreshing in today’s times. We’re all perfectly imperfectly. You’re gorgeous! 🤍

I have really hooded eyes...I can help lift them a little with the shape of the shadow, but do you think a cool tone above the crease ( I also wear glasses ) would help? Kinda new to all this. Grew up in the 80s, no blending lol and my mom wasn't into makeup or sunscreen. I'm starting over here in my 40s I trust your advice
I also have hooded eyes and they also go down so it was a struggle for me all me life. I found out it helps to put „crease shade” a little above the actual crease. it makes the eyes pop more and gives the effect of bigger eyelid. Basically i do my eyeshadow higher than it „should be” lol I think Alexandra made a video about hooded eyes make-up tips a couple months ago, you can look it up
I don't have hooded eyes, but a tip I learned for them is to do your eye makeup with your eyes open, especially in the crease area. Open your eyes and find where your eye dips back, and put you crease shadow there. If it makes sense lol

obvs not her, but i'd assume that if it works for you, it works for you ! makeup is all about adapting what you like to what compliments your natural beauty the best :-) there are no rules no masters here

Please please do an video about contouring the eyes! I have dark circle and discoloration around my eyes that almost looks like “natural eyeshadow”, so if I use eyeshadow it just looks messy and dirty.
