- 4P local co-op fight vs Arch-Illager on Apocalypse difficulty. In an action-RPG game like this, if at first you don't succeed, just come back stronger. Even so, this is the toughest fight in the game. More of the bosses should have been unique challenges like this one to figure out and conquer together.

It would, but sometimes the the lasers that the heads in the floor shoot go inside the shield
Swiftfooted enchantment could make you dancing around the heart of ender. And also go in between the void pools (The heads that shoot lasers) The void pools are unattackable. Shoot the heart ender while you are circling around the heart of ender with high firework arrows

the fact some people beat this lvl alone is insane
I haven't played the game solo to know, but I assume that it scales up in number of enemies based on number of players like other games do.
If not, then it isn't good game design, or they are expecting you to grind to get a lot stronger than necessary in co-op before you can defeat the final boss.
@@cusman im sure they balance it but when ur alone the boss is only focused on you not giving you time to defense and heal

It must be awesome to be able to do 4 player mode. I can only do 2 player
It also means more probability of file corruption in this particular game for 1 or more of the 4 players which is a hassle, but it was worth the hassle.
Why would that happen?
@@widejeff8993 When this game released it had many issues on all platforms. For us on PS4 aside the game potentially crashing sometimes, there were multiple cases of save file corruption for different players.
I don't know if these issues continue or not because I know a friend of mine currently playing this on PS5 local co-op with his family has been error free.
When I had problem, I had reported it to Mojang on their Support Platform:

I dont reccomend using the same artifacts because thats kind of wasting the purpose

Well, as a general principal, we let everyone equip and use whatever they feel like. Sometimes its the same, sometimes its different stuff. The key is let everyone enjoy. As long as team is willing to revive each other, you can muscle through much of the game even with sub-optimal loadouts :)

like for example i would understand if 2 people were rocking the beacon but like all 4 having matchs on all 3 slots? Thats legit kinda sus
@@niconeedsanap8130 The 4P in this video are me, my wife, and our 2 daughters from before they were even teenagers. I assure you we didn't pay much attention to who has what equipped and just enjoyed playing together.

Heart off ender apocalypse IV is easy solo, you just need to hide behind the 2 big torches near the place you enter the arena, and just use range attacks

at that end you died after beating one of the hardest boss how you have no emotion i would have quit

a pillager did a backwards flop
I have played 1 player on this, i died on apocalypse 8 after he spawned a redstone golem and 15 pillagers
If he spawns a redstone golem you need to kill that *first* because you do not want to deal with a redstone golem while fighting the heart of ender

I played this local co-op with my family. I know there have been newer expansions, but we have all moved on after the 2nd expansion.
It was a game we all enjoyed, but the software crashes and worry about save file corruptions keep us from going back.

Personally I used a beacon for the boss to rip through his heath and had Armour with soul bag
Also nice strat with the start of the heart of ender fight 👍
Seems a popular strategy per the comments. Our fight of course was long time ago and was more about good co-op than good strategy.

4:59 I would destroy my gaming setup if that happened to me.
I still remember it took us a while to figure out what happened. Thankfully I saved the video and used here here, before our more successful run at it.

Wait wtf was the end. "all was well.... Until it wasnt" ??? The players just gave a helping hand to the arch ili. Huh... Im so confused
What happened was the orb shattered then the arch illager was no longer possessed by the orb and the playes know this was happening so they help the illager out then it looks like all evil was gone but the orb had brought most of the shards back together and most of them because the dlcs show that some of the shards split around the overworld
@@T-E-A-2024 tho have you seen the special ending only shown when you have the Echoing Void DLC?
Ive seen it like 30 times
And the evidence that I know is that the heart of ender starts swinging around then fal, over and splits into pieces and decade into the void after that you enter the exit portal and the whole camp is celebrating the defeat of the orb of dominance but theses more adventures that awaits them

And yes I have all 6 DLCS
@@p1xel-f1ed63 and since I have echoing void dlc the opening cutsene showed that the endermen found the final shard in a cave (which I think that when the orb of at the end of the base game hade some shards being blasted away by the explosion and the when the fragments on obsidian pinnacle reformed and dashed away into the enderman head in creeper woods for the enderman to find) and so the enderman brought the final shard to the end portal and then the DLC goes on
definetly a very aggresive stile of gameplay
I think all of us favor loadout where we gain health by doing damage, so the game design encourages being aggressive.
@@cusman I go with corrupted beacon and arrow for the boss battle. I'm not sure if soul spells were a thing back then.

Me and my brother both play this game and we can somehow beat Apocalypse +6 easily
It is a stat based game. Once you are sufficiently over-level the boss could be defeated in one hit before it is able to do anything.
But it takes a lot of grinding repetitively to level up enough for that and takes the fun out of all future fights, so not worth doing in my view.
Why everyone have a katana
We would have gotten the Katana recently and therefore using those.

I have never played this game solo, but I have seen gameplay video of others that beat it solo without any trouble. They do seem to be over-leveled to the point where he gets defeated before he puts up any fight.

At some point, when my daughters are bit older, we will play through Diablo III together, which is much more polished very similar type of game but for slightly older gamers.

@@Hamburger.B. I assume that is something they added after we played through to completion. We had also beat mushroom island but there was no apocalypse+ difficulty at that time.

this is the same pattern this is so easy except for less than 20year old
you have really really bad placement and moving
The 4P you see are me, my wife, and our two daughters who were not even teenagers at that time. My focus when playing with family is to have fun, not play optimally. This is a good game for that because it allows everyone to contribute but it isn't too demanding of skill / coordination from any of the players. As long as downed players are revived, you can overcome any fight.

The main difficulty is the attrition from having to do save file backups between play sessions because this game like to crash and corrupt save files (especially when playing 4P local multiplayer).
Hey yeah that’s neat and all but (is holding a cursed axe that does over 1 mil damage and has on mercenary armor on that gives over 2mill hp and bolth with good enchants )(also has death cap mushroom) so yeah I can kinda well ya know 1 shot Archie and endy on apoc even to +5 not to ya know just sayin
That is the nature of RPG stat based games. Skill is only required when your gear is still somewhat balanced against the combat challenges you face. Once you have leveled and loot farmed into OP builds, it is more of a power trip than a challenge.
