Minecraft Dungeons - Final Boss + Ending

- The final boss fight against Arch-Illager & Heart of Ender in Minecraft Dungeons on PC/PS4/Xbox/Switch.
The game is pretty short, however it gets pretty hard later on. Especially the final boss is difficult. I'm surprised I managed to beat it without deaths.
Equipment:
For the Obsidian Pinnacle level, I recommend the llama (wonderful wheat), Claymore Sword and the Scale Mail. (Grim Armor works too)
For the final boss I recommend using a Heavy Crossbow (enchanted to do more damage), the Scale Mail and Shock Powder to stun the zombies in the first phase. (I couldn't use it because I forgot to switch gear)

Marlaina Bovee It means that instead of getting rid of enemies via killing them or impriosioning them, another effective and more peaceful way is to make them your friend, you won’t have that enemy anymore. Hope this helped

After reading the book from Mojang about Arch-Illigers life..THIS IS SO GOOD🥺🥺Archie had a really sad life and was misstreated..

I’m happy too he didn’t really do anything wrong it was the orbs fault
What I like about this ending is that it’s not like they killed him, rather, do what was supposed to be done in the first place which was welcome him. He only turned to evil because he wasn’t welcomed by anyone, and was only banished from the villages, all because he was different to them.
Which teaches a great lesson. Minecraft is filled with a young audiences, and it’s great that they’re teaching them and not just the young audience , but anyone to never leave someone out the dust, wether it’s because of their skin colour, race, belief, disability, religion, etc...
We all come together as people, as humans and as friends. We welcome anyone to our lives instead of kicking them off because they’re not good enough for your fitting.
You never know how much it means to someone when they’re welcomed to a place or community. Leaving them out will only leave them with a bitter heart and a changed mindset on the world, and maybe even become evil.

Fun fact the arch illager’s real name is Archie and he was corrupted by the orb not on his own will was he evil but on the orb’s will because the orb actually has a mind of it’s own

It’s cool to see the ending again but next time use range it takes him out less than a minute if you have enchant growing and fully charged
Agreed, On lower difficulties, a high roll with the harp bow and firework arrows can take out a majority of the arch illager's first phase's health, at close range, of course.
At the ending that the illager was thinking that the ppl will attack him but gave him a hand MELTS MY HEART
After reading the novel, I feel even more bad for Archie (The Arch-Illager). That ending does leave a small hope spot though. I hope he will be able to stay with the Adventurers.

The two phases of this fight sum up who we are fighting perfectly, the first half is a little kid who is still learning to use his god-like power, the second half is the “orb” of dominance controlling Archie and taking a monstrous physical form that will give you the fight of your life
Before you guys say anything, the “orb” of dominance is alive as shown by the book “Rise of The Arch Illager”

Also heres my theory of why they helped the illager:
They saw the illager suffering for help but cannot do what he needs to do, after a long journey. They fought him, they felt bad and decided to help him, help him kill the darkness covering the atmosphere.

Really love the use of the word vanquished here, it means "conquer, subdue, overcome" not "destroy, obliterate, kill" so yes, the player does exactly that just in a form we aren't used to seeing. Evil is overcome, subdued, conquered not by perpetuating the cycle of cruelty and death but by stopping its root cause, in this case, as a hero to the villagers, our choice to spare him means that while we understand the villagers' plight, we also know that they won't learn a long term lesson by destroying him.
The arch illager was adorable at the end

After he was defeated, he got his head in a good place, albeit with obvious immense guilt.
He sees people walk over with weapons, and he expects them to be just as cruel and heartless as the villagers were before him..

Honestly, while the game looks kinda simple and a bit underdeveloped, goddamn does it have its moments of brilliance, like, the Heart of Ender is unironically amazing and has straight up Dark Souls music going in the background, like, it's beautiful. Didn't expect that from a simple little Diablo-alike.

Guys, watch when the orb shatters frame by frame, you can see everyone's armor, Valorie's Hammer and Hal's Bow fly away from their hands due to the shockwave caused by the orb. Nice detail, I mean they did defeat the Heart of Ender with some weapons right?

I find the Arch-Illager very interesting. (No Sarcasm) He's the only Illager that has no green nor blue eyes in the game, just black eyes. Perhaps he was shunned by his Kin because he's different. Sense there's gonna be a sequel to the game, perhaps we would be most likely play as the Arch-Illager, or he'll be a friend in battle??? Does anyone have the same thoughts???
