To anyone planning to buy these, the battery thing on the NOD’s are for the LED function that are for cosplay/photos etc, so I suspect the battery pack is just in case your NOD’s run out of battery mid-game.
It wouldn't be impossible, but I really don't recommend it lol. It's pretty hard to just walk around with them down over your eyes, but if they aren't folded down, then I think you will be fine.
Is an easy mod to do you take apart an old security camera that has R and you can install them in the tubes. Can you buy a small digital screen to put on the inside? It’s pretty simple. The circuitboard stuff is not that hard and you can actually make the battery compartment functional
Can you see through the lens? (I know they’re replicas, i just want to know if your eyesight isn’t distorted when you look through, i have gpnvg18s that do that.)
From what i know no, these stay true but it gets a bit blurry and when theyre turned on they shine green leds indirectly into your eyes so you cant really see, im getting mine in about a month so if you want i can update you then 👍🏻
@@A017-b8j they also flip the image! its the tinted blueish lense in the front that flips it, over all they stiill look insane :D i dimmed my green leds with a blue trash bag to give em more of a white phosphorus look and they look incredible :)
When looking through, you can either see a distorted version of whatever is in front of you or just the reflection of your eyes. It depends on what angle you look through them and how close they are to your face.
I hate to tell you but Daniel Defense builds and sells real rifles. So that wouldn't be a fake, but rather 3rd party manufacturer item. And the place for batteries would be to create a counter weight for your helmet. Lastly I know you cut that lanyard off the bat pack, but that might be used to keep you from losing the lid. ( a just in case it popped off?)

I have a pair of the quad nvg's from fma and when you have them pulled down, the lenses essentially flip the image. Would that happen with these.
