You made a point that this family may have been killed to prevent the business staying in the hands of the family, which could be the case. What could also be a cause is the family business may have been extorted. As we know, a business person's failure to pay extortion money in most cases result in death. All of what was mentioned could be a factor but no one knows

This murder happened when I was in my early teen in Jamaica. Since then, I have never forgotten about this family. Even though I did not know them personally, the trauma that I experienced when I heard the news on the radio still echoes in my mind. In my mind, I can still hear Allan Magnus reading the funeral announcement for the family on RJR news. I migrated from Jamaica shortly after the murders. I requested this video, and I'm hoping that this childhood trauma that I went through when I heard of the death of these young children and parents may finally leave me. Jamaican children are being traumatized by the wanton killings in Jamaica. I'm in my 50s, and here telling you that I'm one of those kids traumatized by the news of this murder in 1984. I'm watching the video with tears in my eyes.
Thanks, Nigel. You presented the history so well.

@@Junjo11 , Not really, I’m forth generation Jamaican Chinese on Mom side ( with a lot of different mixtures eg. Indian,Syrian,Spanish ) back then, everyone, upper class, middle class, lower class, anyone who could escape the political violence of the late 1970’s and 1980’s .. Ran away, most leaving everything behind.. Back then we had shortages of everything, no bread, no flour, no sugar, no chicken, no fuel etc etc.. It was really BAD! The government arrested anyone trying to smuggle or take out ( over the allotted amount ) of money. The Jamaican dollar was worthless, Everyone wanted foreign currency.. BUT THE POLITICAL VIOLENCE WAS BRUTAL, DEADLY, VICIOUS AND CERTAINLY TRAUMATIZED AND AFFECTED MANY GENERATIONS OF JAMAICAN’S…. Those two parties gave guns, bullets and money to there gang members to wage WAR and DESTRUCTION all over our beautiful Island.. Years ago in Jamaica, as children we left our home without giving our mom prior notice. Eventually she walked a few blocks and knocked on our neighbors gate and enquired about our whereabouts.
To my amazement I heard my mom telling the neighbor that she was cut up. I began to freak out and thought that our actions had made the situation worse and caused her physical injury. I literally thought that my life was about to end because my mom was bleeding thinking she was about to kill us. please help me laugh at myself. Much ❤️

This was such a disturbing, vicious, brutal, rape, murder, massacre of a entire defenseless family, even by murders committed in Jamaica in 1984. What is completely amazing about these murders are : The killers were never caught, convicted, and hanged. The police had no clues or even a motive for this massacre/ murders of an entire family. The killers remained FREE to this day!!
We all believe back then, the killers were highly connected with the police, dons and politically. No one was ever caught or convicted for these vicious/brutal/rape/murders, not back then in 1984 or NOW!! Did the police even bother to collect any DNA, semen, saliva, blood, fingerprints etc etc any evidence at the scene of the crime? Or was it all conveniently lost? Jamaica needs a well funded Cold Case Squad. I was 21 years old and had just gotten my visa for Canada, left Jamaica and never looked back, but at times I still remember this massacre of The Lue family, may they All Rest in Eternal Peace😢 Such a tragedy!

Just looking at the building now in my mind. That ssme Sunday morning I went right in front of Coronation market to buy fish for my Sunday dinner
When I reached to the bakery the place was just gloomy and quiet. By the morning it was on the news. Those murderers killed every living thing that was on the property including the fowl and dog.To this day no one held accountable for those people's murder.Real Sad.God is not a sleep.I heard the little girl was at the table doing her home work.

If it was indeed a contract k!lling, couldn't it be brought to bear who acquired the business after their de@th? Though it could not be speculated that the person who acquired it was involved, but deep investigation could have gotten something. But then again, those persons are some of the "untouchables" of our society. Wouldn't be surprised if government officials were involved.
