Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. Let's bring the joy back to ballet! Sometimes I feel the same. But Katie has given away so many classes for free on RUclips for so long, I still do her older videos. Her first ballet barre from like 2014 is still one of my favorites, lol!

I used to dance ballet for many years but stopped when life got in the way. Now I really need to start exercising regularly again. I find your beginner barres great for building up the strength! But I treat them as centre exercises as I'm too lazy to get a chair... Anyway, just wanted to say that I appreciate your videos and look forward to gaining the strength to do the more advanced videos again, as they are a lot more fun :)

Thank you for doing these! My girls are 11 and 9 and like these classes as exercise routines on days they don’t have dance classes, plus they are easy enough for me to jump in and join them.

Thank you I just finished and this is my favourite beginner ballet video. I love how you break down the combinations and you make it look so easy and the only thing that I cannot do that I wish I could do is jump I just I can’t jump. It’s really hard. I would love to take one of your beginner online classes.

hii! I have a question. My new shoes are way to high on my heel, and I don’t want to buy new ones, is there anything I can do to help or make the shorter. They are very tight on my heels because they go up to high.
