  • On 8 October 1987, Diana, Princess of Wales visited the Royal Ballet School in London. The Princess, who remained a keen dancer throughout her life despite her dreams of becoming a ballerina having been ended her height, evidently enjoyed watching students as they pliéd and pirouetted around the studio.

    Some famous faces there from the teaching staff who are no longer with us sadly, Darcey Bussell and Viviana Durante would be going through the school back then and I spotted a few ex Royal Ballet stars being taught as pupils in that footage. Diana was like a little child around ballet dancers. She had this fantasy in her head that she wanted to be one.

    In a way, it must have been difficult for her to watch instead of participate, or at least have fulfilled her potential as a dancer before moving on from ballet. It might have felt like unfinished business to her. Such a pity for her to not have had adult ballet opportunities like there are now. Dance seems to have meant a lot to her.🩰

    What a wonderful person, Princess Diana! It is not possible not to smile and feel happy seeing her sincerely kind face, though not for those French reporters who led her to her death by pursuing her and preferred her as their dead prey rather than respecting her privacy and letting her live freely and happily and illuminating the world with her beauty and sincerity and kindness.

    • @karynesilva9176
      @karynesilva9176 Месяц назад +3

      I think less than 1,7 because when ballerinas are in top of their toes they increase about 8 centimeters, while their partners are in flat shoes most of the time. In this case it would be necessary to find a 1,80 partner. wich may be hard
