Saul saying "I didn't want any of this!" is kinda heartbreaking. I know he might refer to only working with Walt in poisioning Brock and killing Gus, but I think that he was also referring to everything (Chuck's death, Howard's death, Losing Kim, getting involved with the Cartel and Gus, ect.) that lead him into his state in Breaking Bad.
Like Mike said Walter White is a ticking time bomb, and he has already blown up his enemies, his partners, his friends, his relatives, and finally himself.
I suppose coloring the Gene scenes sort of gives them an improved connection with the Breaking Bad scenes. I always found it hard to correlate BB's Saul with Jimmy McGill , since he is so disconnected from the drama and any emotional beats in the original series and pretty much only used as a convenient plot device. So yeah, it's a nice touch having the scene colorized in an edit focusing purely on his Breaking Bad days and not spotlighting or shifting the focus on his 2004 escapades.
Walter White was technically the second Saul Goodman story. First it was the advocacy and then drug trafficking, and of both stories, he ended up in prison
Saul was merely the catalyst for all the destruction walt caused. He provided walt with the means yes, but he provided his services to a lot of criminals, saul didn't expect walter to destroy everything, so yes saul did create Heisenberg but credit to what walt did still somewhat goes to walt himself
As someone else mentioned before, it is SUCH a relief to see the post-BB-era scenes in color. The black and white schtick stopped being cute after a whole 10sec IMO. I still think it’s the single most perfect finale I’ve ever seen, but still, the black and white made the already-bleak and empty-feeling Nebraska scenes that much more visually and emotionally impenetrable
What an incredible edit as always! Now that I think of it, Saul caused so many of Breaking Bad’s events while just sitting on his desk. Anyways, keep up the great work!
Hace unos días me termine de ver Bcs y ya me había termina de ver Bb y ahora con este edit siento todo lo que no ví, siento algo distinto en la relación de Walter y Jimmy, siento que es algo más fuerte y con más historia.
You honestly make the cleanest edits I've ever seen. I thought it was an official account at first. Keep doing what you're doing, some film companies will hire you as an editor some day.
Hey man, can you link the exact version of "The Beach" you used for this? I couldn't find one which would be exactly in this rhythm which seems just perfect
@@BreakingCallSaulEdits thx, the link from the description said "the video is not available", so I figured it to be broken. Unfortunately, this one ends up the same..
Nope. Without Saul, Walt would've been killed. Not only Gus wouldn't have tolerated his presence, but the Salamancas were already hunting down Walt and without Mike and Gus, Walt would've had his head chopped off by the Twins after taking a shower.
Walter's final attack on the Neo-Nazis heavily mirrors Gustavo Fring's assassination of the heads of the Cartel.Walt and Gus were initially motivated to take revenge due to someone close to them being shot in the head.Their loved ones were murdered by a character frequently referred to as "Uncle".They set up a meeting with their enemies under the pretense of teaching them the formula for a new drug.Almost everybody present aside from Walt and Gus fell victim to their secret weapon and died nearly instantly. The only survivors of the attack are their enemies' leader, who dies soon afterwards, and their lieutenant, who is strangled from behind by their attacker's longtime partner. Both Walt and Gus are hurt by their own weapon; Gus poisoned himself to coax the Cartel leadership into doing the same, and Walt was shot in the side protecting Jesse.Jesse kills the last survivor of the "Salud" massacre and one of the two survivors of the Felina massacre.Jesse Pinkman was deliberately protected from being killed in both assassinations, Gus didn't allow him to drink the poisoned Tequila and Walter knocked him to the ground to save him from the gunfire.
damn 💔 W edit
thank you very much my friend, do not wait for you here ♥♥♥
I find it funny imagining season 1 Walt in his tighty whities sitting in a prison cell without Saul's help.
hahaha that's exactly what would happen bro
Waltuh is eveywhere
Season 2, but yeah

Now I wanna see an edit when after he says that it shows all his regrets and actions leading him down this path
Like Mike said
Walter White is a ticking time bomb, and he has already blown up his enemies, his partners, his friends, his relatives, and finally himself.
mike will always be the voice of reason, too bad jesse didn't hear him!!

this was really what i wanted to convey my friend, thank you very much ♥
I agree, unfortunately the coloring isn’t right on the suit but still the idea is great and without knowing any better from BTS info it’s perfect

yes they are different but the same

I disagree, I think Walter would've found his way to the top one way or another.
Nah, Gus would have eventually just killed Walt. He wasn’t anywhere near as clever as Gus I the drug world. Without Saul, Walter dies.
Nope. Without Saul, Walt would've been killed. Not only Gus wouldn't have tolerated his presence, but the Salamancas were already hunting down Walt and without Mike and Gus, Walt would've had his head chopped off by the Twins after taking a shower.
let's be honest, if it wasn't for saul goodman, walter would be killed by the tuco cousins
Maybe next edit about Jack's gang?
hmmmmm, nice man!!!
I wrote down
Okay
Coming soon we can see the similarities between Gus vs the cartel and Walt vs the Jack gang ???
