  • My name is Redmond Ramos- I run on new adventures.
Just because you aren't "great" at something does not mean you should give up.
I never skateboarded in my life until about 6 months ago.
I honestly just started to help my surfing but now skating is becoming it's own hobby of mine. Obviously, I am still very new and wobbly (I look like I'm about to fall any second lol) but I am having a blast here at Temecula Skate Park in Southern California.
Being an amputee means my balance really needs work.
It's been a huge learning curve but I've been loving this new hobby.
I'm very proud of how far I've come in under a year of skateboarding.
Don't listen to other people talk trash about those daring enough to try new things.
Get out of your bubble and fail at everything you can :)
From competing in track- to competing on the Amazing Race, to competing in surfing (and proudly taking home last place lol) I can tell you that life is short- so don't make it boring.
    Rocking the American Flag prosthetic.
Using an Insta360 x3 camera. Not sponsored. It's a super rad camera.
    Thank you for watching!

🤙🏽 glad to see you’re out living life, I know I don’t know what it’s like to lose a limb. I’m currently 21 and had to get all of my teeth surgically removed at the age of 17-18 can’t remember exactly. I was born with really crappy genes and both my mom and my grandma (mom’s mom) have dentures. It didn’t matter how much I brushed, flossed, or even used mouthwash. They just started basically dissolving with every meal or drink. And since dentures are kinda outa the budget I’ve lived the last 4-5 years without any form of teeth. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, eating can be hard with certain things, talking is way different since there just sounds I can’t really make anymore without the help of teeth. O well, I’ve gone this far I can manage.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I imagine that is a scary thing- to try your best but feel out of control

@@DocPegLegRed You’re not wrong there, theres definitely been some changes that weren’t very fun and still aren’t fun to live through. I didn’t have to per se, but I dropped out of high school because the people there weren’t great and felt like all they did was ridicule me for my teeth. It feels like I’ve gone through so many years of teasing that it doesn’t really affect me anymore. I’ll eventually figure something out and hopefully get dental implants or something, but that’s probably not gonna be for a pretty long time.

There worst part about dental problems is that it makes people choose to smile less. Smiling less makes us less happy. I would encourage you to try your best to smile every chance you can! Don't be embarrassed- everyone deserves to smile, Brotha!@@GhostNinja0007
