Great question! You are correct- We normally don't surf after it rains. That's because of all of the urban runoff. There can be sewage/ chemicals / etc overflowing into the water after a rain. You have a bigger chance of getting sick. I didn't plan on surfing in the rain (it came down hard while I was already out there). But it was still very fun. I normally wouldn't surf in the rain because the wind makes for bad choppy surf conditions a lot of the time. Either way- I had a blast :)

haha It's the big bails that force me to accidentally swallow seawater. It can definitely get you sick. It's why we generally don't go surfing after a big rain. The water can be extra dirty.

@@DocPegLegRed You’re not wrong there, theres definitely been some changes that weren’t very fun and still aren’t fun to live through. I didn’t have to per se, but I dropped out of high school because the people there weren’t great and felt like all they did was ridicule me for my teeth. It feels like I’ve gone through so many years of teasing that it doesn’t really affect me anymore. I’ll eventually figure something out and hopefully get dental implants or something, but that’s probably not gonna be for a pretty long time.

There worst part about dental problems is that it makes people choose to smile less. Smiling less makes us less happy. I would encourage you to try your best to smile every chance you can! Don't be embarrassed- everyone deserves to smile, Brotha!@@GhostNinja0007

I would probably hurt my body before I damage the foot. But I never lifted that heavy, to be honest. My buddy has the same foot and he snapped it twice. He’s a 6’3” Olympic Shot-putter and lifts crazy weight.
