On today's episode of Car Trek, AutoTempest challenged the guys to test out each other's cars and tally up everything wrong with them. Ed's Aston Martin V12 Vanquish needs more pre-flight checks than the space shuttle, Tyler's CL65AMG is perfect except for some very unusual issues, and Freddy has TOTALLY REDEEMED HIMSELF and brought the Maserati back to life. Unfortunately it's still as rough around the edges as it was. Then the guys get their cars appraised by John Ficarra, an experience none of them will ever forget...or want to remember.

A “sleeper” is something people will sleep on. They will never assume or thinks it’s fast. That’s why they call them “sleepers”.

Leave it to Ed to marry the homecoming queen, get the best car deal, drive the Lambo, have the best jokes and somehow make 15k after "losing." Meanwhile the "not so super" car "wins" and a continental gt doesn't even show up in a series about depreciated gt cars (let's be honest it was a GT series.) I was thinking, the Maserati is dead, surely they will buy a Bentley now, and then an m6 shows up looking like it has the Frankenstein Maserati kit on it. This looked like fun even though there is so much wrong with this picture.
No disrespect to the guys that did Top Gear USA, but you 3 have the chemistry and entertainment value they didn’t .

@@weasel213123 He also probably has one or something like it in his collection. That gearbox is something SO many automatic owners desperately want to have instead. The automatic of that generation is BMW bad. No, Chrysler had a child with Daewoo bad. Someone with a near mint condition automatic with a dead engine and gearbox will snap that up and swap everything over.
This was F'n fantastic. My favorite car show / series of anything I've watched in 2020. This series was so well done, so humorous, so engaging. Four stars and recommended to my friends. I sincerely hope you continue to do this series as soon as possible. Truly inspiring, memorable and unforgettable. Freddy, your channel rocks!

I can see how Ed was able to sell cars. You have a mastery of the English language while able to covey an ideal picture of the car without divulging any of the pit falls in an eloquent and tactful style.
I'm sure you could have sold me a toaster in the past wit the socially presumed acceptance that it was worth easily double if not triple.

If they did depreciated luxury SUV’s probably be a cayenne some form of Range Rover and a Q7 or Touareg w the v10 diesel and I feel in a world where SUV’s are everywhere and everybody has one it would be a fun few episodes for people to watch and probably destroy them off road

Loved the series. The time is yours for the taking, there’s a hole where car shows used to be. If you can figure out how to fill it with more episodes before Grand Tour gets their shows finished I feel that you’re going to get an audience.

Can’t wait for your next upcoming series. Ed is just the best with his satirical quips and dialog. Tyler continues to excel in self deprecating humor, Freddy is the only one that can fix anything. Possibly the next challenge should be the wizard changes Freddy in a “Repair Off”. Guys I want to thank you for great entertainment on a very modest budget.

John, LEMONS THAT MASERATI. It’s over budget but it won’t go a full weekend, will troll everyone and make people cry, but it’s already messed up, so it’s not hurting anyone.
Actually, track use is all it IS good at, and the thing will likely last as long as the weather isn't over 100F. It's a perfect Lemons car. Just. AS. IT. IS. :) Crappy stickers and goofy wing and all of that.
Also, the picture of the AMG before the wrap with its perfect pearl with a little gold paint... I just loathe wraps. In an era at the time of Mercedes asking you which shade between black and white with tan thrown in as well, it literally was the ONLY color at the time that didn't suck, aside from the super rate to find emerald green on a few models.
Do this with Modern “muscle” cars next. Cheap v8 goodness!

Excellent show, guys. I like all the information packed into this. The fella that told them what they really are, and what they're really worth. It was so in depth for a show like this and that's what makes it great. I did research on the Ford/ Aston Martin thing and wow, did it open up a fun little rabbit hole.
The Maseratti should be sold to those fellas that make Outlaw Porches, I'm sure they could make a speedy mountain car out of it without having to perfect everything.

This series is amazing, I know this is a big reach as of right now but the personalities involved and the chemistry they have on screen together with the premise of this show is dare I say getting into original top gear relm. Which is very much a stretch to say about any show ever but Ed Ty and Freddy are amazing, id recommend this show to anyone at any age, these 3 are very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great work gentlemen and sign me up for 35 plus more seasons. All of your own channels are great too. I knew nothing of Tavarish and Tyler before watching this season, and I'm now hooked. Great watch.

Great series of videos gentlemen! I accidently spent a year in Vegas once (went out for a week, didn't come home for over 11 months...) and I LOVED Red Rock Canyon. It is one way, so no oncoming traffic. It is almost 14 miles long or about the same as the Nurburgring. And if you're the first person there when they open, it becomes your own personal race track. It should take about half an hour. I did it once in 12 minutes, and the dude at the gate did the math. "Hey..., WTF? DO NOT COME BACK TODAY." Luckily the next day it was someone else's morning shift!
