Good eye! Yes, there's a bar on the center of the Leisuit rollaway bed for support. However. It's angled in a way that it doesn't come in contact with mattress. Hmmm… it shouldn't be difficult at all considering that the bed has wheels under the frame. I've seen comments from people stating that they could easily move the bed across a carpeted floor with one hand. If you do end up buying that bed, I'm curious to know what you think. Hi! Good question! There's only a slight difference between the two sizes for that mattress. The cot measures 31 x 74 inches while the twin size measures 36 x 74 inches.
