Idk - Scott looks more like Pumbaa than Matt - he's literally wearing a jacket and matching pants the same color as Pumbaa. Matt might be Timon and Scott is Pumbaa.
Great reaction. Thank you. It's phenomenal! I love it too❤ Suggestions: Superfruit- Evolution of Lady Gaga, Feeling myself( they rap so well) or Imaginary Parties( Original video- crazy cool video) PTX- Come Along( really upbeat fun, quirky song) or No (Megan Trainor Cover) it's one take and sassy Mitch gets me every time🤭
Your reactions are awesome! Your energy is infectious!! I have two requests that are fun high energy I know you’ll love. Pentatonix - Problem (Ariana Grande Cover) (Official Video) AND Official Video] Can't Hold Us - Pentatonix (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cover) YOU WILL LOVE THEM! ❤️ THANK YOU!
This one is definitely one of their best ones - well, any song where Mitch serves up a Mitch-slap is always gonna be good! They did a collab with Todrick Hall called 'The Wizard of Ahhhs' which I think you'll love too. Be warned though... you may cry a little bit - not because it's sad, but the ending - well, you'll know it when you see it... 😁
I’m going to give 3 options (which I know makes it harder to get an upvote but 🤷🏼♀️) Amazing Grace - they are absolutely amazing in this! The Wizard of Ahhhs with Todrick Hall - you will love this! If you’re a Wizard of Oz fan, even better…but don’t expect too much music from that movie 😉 Sing - it’s one of their originals (an early one with Avi) that is a real bop that you can’t help but chair dance to!
"Sing" (an origional) is an excellent morning reaction! It will get you going for your day, Same with "Come Along" (nor an original but from a long time ago and upgraded so much by PTX it is an original as far as I am concerned)
And if you haven't done so already, may I recommend their cover of Amazing Grace? I'm not religious in any way, shape or form, but that has incredible vocal performances from all five of them. Even got a nice little surprise at the end :)
I adore your Pentatonix reactions! Mitch is going to SLAP you again in "Come Along" with a great kind of duet with Matt at the end. They ALL make you want to dance. Kirsty always makes me cry when I listen to Amazing Grace. They are all amazing, love them.
And they're dressed as characters from the film! Kirsty and Mitch at their absolute best in this song, in my opinion. I've lost count of how many times I've watched this particular video. The several key-changes are just mind-blowing!
Seconding "The Wizard of Aaaahs," which was a really inventive mash-up of then-current pop to tell the story of the Wizard of Oz, in collaboration with Todrick Hall. Kirstie really shines, taking all the girl parts!
Next Reaction Video: Kevin Olusola’s cover of Marian Hill’s “Down” It will leave your jaw on the floor. Kevin is a musical genius, and he puts so much on display in that video. He has several other’s in a similar vein that are worth checking out as well, but “Down” is a special experience.
Going to remind you about 'Your Power' (Billie Eilish cover by Mitch Grassi) and 'Anchor' (an original PTX song). You'll love both as Mitch's vocals are particularly beautiful in both. I always grin when I get a notification from you with PTX. Your smile is infectious! You should try to catch them in London or Manchester next May. I think there are a few tickets left, but they were limited when I got mine, so who knows when they'll sell out.
I second "The Wizard of Ahhh's"... One of the best in my opinion! Avi Kaplan is having a great solo career, I would love to see G.O.T cover some of his videos also. If I request the Wizard of Ahhh's 100x would that be enough to get it to the top? LOL Again- SUPER great reaction 👍👍👍👍👍
I really, truly think that you would absolutely love their “Popspring Performance 2016”. It’s live, and consists of 3 original songs and also their Evolution of Michael Jackson. It’s about 20 minutes long, but it’s well worth it!!
Your right, they are still 19 y/o kids, just trying to get a break and perform for someone that can help them. They are still having that kind of fun, and are still just as much family as they were then. I am scared of what Kirstie does now that the baby is here, a lot of artist, will stop performing for many years, I just don' t know if PTX could survive with that replacement. Avi leaving was one thing, but Kirstie leaving, I don't know. Look at how the trio is able to know what each other is about to do, not when it happens, before, that takes years and years of working together, Especially her and Mitch, there are so many times I hear those two, they will not only get on the same notes, but their voices will change, and create a third voice, and all you hear is one voice, there are some songs, that they manage to do that with Scott also, even though he's a couple octaves below them, the three are only producing one note, at least that's all that can be heard, if you got one of those machines that tracks voices, it would only show one voice. There is no way that a replacement for any of them, would be able to come in and do that. It would completely change the whole sound of the group, would it be good enough that enough people would stay loyal to them. I hope we never have to find out, I feel Kirstie will find a way to take care of the baby, and still take care of PTX, I think all of the current group would do just that.
Their voices meld together - stronger than a blend. I think that they were born to sing together. I agree. My Heart With You is live and the harmonies are sublime.
Mad World... someone described it as "Pure Vocal Perfection"... and if i feel not so good.. and be in a bad mood, then i listen to Happy Now.. and everything will be ok.. 😀
This was early in Matt's tenure with the group. I knew they'd succeed with him when i couldn't tell in the first verse of the audio version, the hand off from Scott to Matt and back to Scott. The bass line continues as if one person were singing, as does the lead. Flawless beginning to a fantastic version.
You are so right with how they are all talented enough (and unique enough, with charisma and "it-factor" enough) to be spectacular solo artists. Which is soooo rare in groups. Often if everyone are great solo-artists it becomes a competition or disjointed or clear "here is a group of soloists". Because blending, making choices from the music and not from ego etc, are all separate skills from being soloists. The way they can blend and become part of the set-dressing almost in a way to support the soloist, and then step forward to the solo and own a stage like any star out there. They are so unique in that it's almost impossibly rare to have so many exceptional talents work so well together, especially for so long!
Suggestions for more Pentatonix -- "Happy Now" (their original), "New Rules x Are You That Somebody" (Dua Lipa x Aaliya mashup), "Sweater Weather" (The Neighborhood), "Gold" (Kiiara)
Love this reaction! You should totally react to The Wizard of Ahh's by Todrick Hall's featuring Pentatonix!! It's so good and tells the story through contemporary music.
I’ve been waiting for you to react. They totally KILLED this Mitch with the HIGH note and everyone doing their thing❤️🔥🔥🔥 Love your reactions please do more😍
Addition of a couple of key changes is incredible and FYI, if you have time, there is a behind-the-scenes video for Can You Feel. Not for reaction but just to learn how they do the magic they do. Please do consider Wizard of Ahhs by Todrick Hall featuring PTX. Kirstin absolutely kills it. #2 suggestion is Superfruit's Frozen Medley with Kirstin joining them. And don't forget to wait for the outros and bloopers after the "subscribe"
New rules / are you that somebody needs to be heard. They have some great songs but this mashup is perfection. It has Matt in it and really shows his ability at bass. Kirsten and Mitch harmonize perfectly with Scott taking lead for most the song. Kevin beatboxing is incredible as well.
I thought i would let you know they have just been awarded a gold star on the hollywood walk of fame !!! well deserved and i am elated for them keep up the great work
I just noticed, at the point when Mitch and Scott were freaking out, all of a sudden Kevin and Matt got louder. It was like they grabbed the song by the reins and pulled it back into line! That was POWERFUL!🤯❤️🔥❤️🔥 Actually, Scott, Mitch and Kirsty grew up together in Arlington, TX
If you want to try their originals, I'd recommend Run to you and Can't sleep love. For Superfruit, I really like Imaginary parties and Future friends. The videos and also really fun ! The Hiphop goes Broadway medleys are also hilariously good.
I think that this is really the first one of their songs where the calm after their "Wall of Sound" is emphasised. I know they do it in Sound of Silence and Mary did you know? but this is much more in your face with it. And it works. As a recommendation, I'd like to throw their unplugged "Silent Night". It's brilliant.
I love, love, love your reactions. If you want to see Mitch in front of an orchestra (you'll have to take the other four as well) check out their Star Wars Tribute performance at the AMA's 2015. Some have criticised them for going with instruments, but it was such a huge honour for them to be there and as usual, they performed over and above. it's a little gem. Thank you so much for continuing to react to this amazing group.
I always get a huge smile on my face watching your reactions to PTX! I just love your laugh and that beautiful twinkle in your eyes! I think you would really love watching the video called 2016 Popspring Performance. It's a little long, but I've seen several other reactors do it. It's 4 songs and 3 are originals! ❤
What makes PTX so unique? You got it. Five fabulous voices, they could each be front man for a pop band. The core three have performed together since childhood (kids musical theater). They each have a unique sound. But then they are all completely unselfish about the parts they'll perform; and in turn they share the best stuff around, always looking for who can do the best job with any particular part. Not only can anyone stand out when they sing together, they have the ability to mimic and blend with each other despite the unique character of each voice. They love each other and love what they are doing and it shows. They are deeply creative, and yet totally respectful of their source material, always trying to honor the original intent. And they have a fanatic work ethic and commitment to quality, that extends to every part of what they do. Thus not just arrangement or performance but their touring sets, show, and especially the videos; they have the best people in the business collaborating with them in their productions. Without any of these elements they'd still be pretty formidable but there just isn't another group with that collection of talent and dedication to each other and to what they do. It is truly a once in a lifetime confluence.
The chances of this group coming together was so infinitesimally small that only the powers that be in the universe could have made it happen. I’m glad they decided to do that to allow us mere mortals to have something to brighten our days. Three kids meet as children who love to sing and decide to keep singing together in school and local theater. As a side note, can you imagine trying to keep those three reigned in in high school choir? Scott, Mitch and Kirstie say that she did help them learn to blend better. They become life-long friends. Scott befriends Ben Bram who helps Scott get on The Sing Off. Ben introduces Scott to Avi. Scott talks Kevin into giving up med school at Yale and joining four strangers to compete on The Sing Off. They actually win the show. Sony drops them so they decide to start building their Pentaholic following on You Tube. Viral videos, and great music follows, and they get resigned to Sony. Avi decides to leave the group and they find another great bass in Matt. While Matt is not Avi, he is still excellent and I think he blends even better with the other members of PTX. If anything happens differently along that path Pentatonix does not exist, and the world is a lesser place.
Another reactor said when he first saw Pentatonix that it was like one of those movies where some kids from different backgrounds all end up in the same foster home and end up conquering the world.
It is beautiful! I think they wanted to see how many times you can make a key change in one song! Will always watch you react to them, your smile makes me smile! How can that be wrong? Thank you so much for your reaction!
Hello G.O.T. So happy you did this one Luke!! You said it - Absolutely Perfect This is Pure Pentatonix Perfection. Your head shake with Mitch’s gentle ear candy at the beginning, said it all. When you said “Aw Mitch, Mitch’s voice every time” I just smiled - and waited for your reaction to when Mitch soared into the stratosphere. Mitch indeed is a skilled vocalist. This is A Capella at its very best. The solos, the beat-boxing, the ear candy, the harmonies, the beautiful videography. Matt so deep, Scott with his riffing, Kirstie so sharp and belting, Kevin beating with all those sounds and Mitch's voice so smooth alike caramel then soaring to the sky. There is a Behind The Scenes for the making of this music video, you should react to that. Loved your reaction. BTW they are getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the category Live Theatre/Live Performance. -- so well deserved! More PTX please.
The "behind the scenes" video on this one is quite good. I loved them sitting around deciding to "Beyonce" the shit of out this arrangement with three key changes.
I enjoy to follow your PTX-journey with so much joy and honest astonishment about that what you hear. To see your reactions bring me back to my beginning of listening to PTX long time ago. Thank you for that. A lot of other pentaholics already recomended so many wonderful songs. So I want to add only two: the cover von "When the party's over" (Billie Eilish) and (yes, an other christmas song) " The first Noel".
I hope you'll react to one of their first videos, "Sing". You will love it. I love how emotionally involved you get with your reactions! Keep them coming!
For me the special thing with this song is how they made their voices sound so similar. I first heard the song without seeing the video and I genuinely got confused who is singing
You mention Mitch's voice, one thing that was revealed when they were on the Sing Along show was that he was bullied and mocked in school for his voice. No one is laughing now. For Superfruit do Imaginary Parties.
This is one of my favorites to see reactions too. It's one of those songs that just keeps getting better as you listen. You could try some originals, Sing is one of my favorites. It just instantly puts a smile on my face. Or check out some Superfruit, Frozen Medley or their cover of Defying Gravity from the play Wicked.
I've watched you react to pentatonix from the beginning and have enjoyed your enthusiasm so much.....got a cpl of suggestions for you....hey momma/hit the road jack....boogie woogie bugal boy.....feel it still...on my way home...ty for all your wonderful passionate reactions...have a blessed day.
Love your comments. The best group I've ever heard. It's amazing how I have a different favorite singers in this group every time I hear a song by them.
Scott, Kirstin & Mitch have been together since adolescence. Kevin & Avi were add just before the Sing Off to qualify. Look where Kevin was when he was 1st contacted, yup, he was accepted for MED SCHOOL! Look @ His credentials. Avi is a World Class Basso Profundo. Matt also has a Gospel background too. Kirstin has performed on Broadway. & Daft Punk was their 1st of now 3 (so far) Grammys. I could go on 'cuz there's a TON more. Watch "The Wizard of Ahaas".
I saw Pentatonix in concert. They are doing exactly what they LOVE. See where they started by watching the Sing Off and see even more acapella groups in this show. Pentatonix backstory is told on the show. I highly recommend watching their performance on the sing off of "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence and the Machine. And see the judges reactions and comments! Promise me you will watch it!
They're just simply amazing! Fun fact, they are dressed as the characters :
Kirstin (Nala), Kevin (Simba), Matt (Pumba), Scott (Timon), Mitch (Zazu)
Idk - Scott looks more like Pumbaa than Matt - he's literally wearing a jacket and matching pants the same color as Pumbaa. Matt might be Timon and Scott is Pumbaa.
So so excited to hear this finally!!
Great reaction. Thank you.
It's phenomenal! I love it too❤
Suggestions:
Superfruit- Evolution of Lady Gaga, Feeling myself( they rap so well) or Imaginary Parties( Original video- crazy cool video)
PTX- Come Along( really upbeat fun, quirky song) or No (Megan Trainor Cover) it's one take and sassy Mitch gets me every time🤭
One of my favorites of theirs, chills every time ❤️
Your reactions are awesome! Your energy is infectious!! I have two requests that are fun high energy I know you’ll love.
Pentatonix - Problem (Ariana Grande Cover) (Official Video) AND
Official Video] Can't Hold Us - Pentatonix (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cover)
YOU WILL LOVE THEM! ❤️ THANK YOU!
..... she is so damn........ beautiful.
Mad World.....will take your breathe away. It is, hands down, their best vocal performance (no beat boxing).
Yes! This one doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Hauntingly gorgeous!
Seems to be the most recommended one next!
And a good ole Mitch Slap to start your day right!! 😂💯
Yes " The Wizard of Ahhs "
I’m going to give 3 options (which I know makes it harder to get an upvote but 🤷🏼♀️)
Amazing Grace - they are absolutely amazing in this!
The Wizard of Ahhhs with Todrick Hall - you will love this! If you’re a Wizard of Oz fan, even better…but don’t expect too much music from that movie 😉
Sing - it’s one of their originals (an early one with Avi) that is a real bop that you can’t help but chair dance to!
YESSSSSSSS
Amazing Grace has been recommended for ages! So got to check it out!! ❤️💯
"Sing" (an origional) is an excellent morning reaction! It will get you going for your day, Same with "Come Along" (nor an original but from a long time ago and upgraded so much by PTX it is an original as far as I am concerned)
@@jannorton5108 I agree! I have Sing, Come Along and Happy Now as my morning pick me up songs for those mornings I need a boost!
And if you haven't done so already, may I recommend their cover of Amazing Grace? I'm not religious in any way, shape or form, but that has incredible vocal performances from all five of them. Even got a nice little surprise at the end :)
100% ! Yes, PLEASE check that one out! :)
Yes, I think Amazing Grace is the piece that highlights their talents the best , and yeah the ending still gets me after 100 + views
I also vote for Amazing Grace.
Of course he liked how they dressed. KEEP YOUR GOOGLY EYES OFFA KRISTEN SHE'S MINE lmaoo
@@isaiahallen5097 You have HER permission to claim her like property? lmao
Yeah, I got Mitch-Slapped. Wasn't expecting him to go off at the end, but boy did he ever.
Next PTX suggestion: How about a change of pace with “Run to You” or “Shallow“ (as I don’t think you’ve heard Kevin’s cello playing yet)
Kirsten, so much power in a little woman. She sets up the key changes so beautifully. The guys are amazing as well.
I adore your Pentatonix reactions! Mitch is going to SLAP you again in "Come Along" with a great kind of duet with Matt at the end. They ALL make you want to dance. Kirsty always makes me cry when I listen to Amazing Grace. They are all amazing, love them.
❤️❤️❤️
I love Come Along.
Let's see what he thinks of their original "Love Again". It's basically EDM without the "E". ADM.
Aha! Singapore - the Star Vista - nonstop Mitch slaps in a live performance - absolutely amazing
Yay!!!!! Been waiting for this one!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
And they're dressed as characters from the film! Kirsty and Mitch at their absolute best in this song, in my opinion. I've lost count of how many times I've watched this particular video. The several key-changes are just mind-blowing!
This was one of their best and strongest vocal performances and considering how awesome they always are this was so impressive!
Not only does Mitch slap us with that note, he flexes on us with that run on the way down. 😂
Seconding "The Wizard of Aaaahs," which was a really inventive mash-up of then-current pop to tell the story of the Wizard of Oz, in collaboration with Todrick Hall. Kirstie really shines, taking all the girl parts!
Next Reaction Video: Kevin Olusola’s cover of Marian Hill’s “Down”
It will leave your jaw on the floor.
I also vote for Anchor. In my opinion the best song off that CD but I love Mitch so I’m biased 😂😂😂
Mitch’s ‘your power’ is haunting. Very special
You hit it-Mitch is such a skilled vocalist. Many stop at his high notes but he is so much more. Matt also did an excellent job with this.
My current obsession is Dreams by PTX their harmonies are incredible 🇨🇦
I second "The Wizard of Ahhh's"... One of the best in my opinion! Avi Kaplan is having a great solo career, I would love to see G.O.T cover some of his videos also. If I request the Wizard of Ahhh's 100x would that be enough to get it to the top? LOL Again- SUPER great reaction 👍👍👍👍👍
I really, truly think that you would absolutely love their “Popspring Performance 2016”. It’s live, and consists of 3 original songs and also their Evolution of Michael Jackson. It’s about 20 minutes long, but it’s well worth it!!
Yes!
I listen to their cover of The Prayer often. It’s one of my favorites.
The bug got Mitch zapped!
Try superfruit "The Promise " lol...those two Scott and Mitch OMG
Definitely a great one for him to react to!
I believe one of their best qualities they have is how humble and appreciative they have remained, stardom hasn't gone to their heads.
Your right, they are still 19 y/o kids, just trying to get a break and perform for someone that can help them. There're getting a Star on the Walk of Fame! Well deserved 👏
The harmonies is this song are beautiful heard hundreds of times but still beautiful everytime,Thank you x
Really was perfect! Just perfect!
I love their original, 'Sing' and their rendition of 'Amazing Grace.' I loved the "Mitch Slap," by the way!
This was early in Matt's tenure with the group. I knew they'd succeed with him when i couldn't tell in the first verse of the audio version, the hand off from Scott to Matt and back to Scott. The bass line continues as if one person were singing, as does the lead. Flawless beginning to a fantastic version.
The bass in this one is massively underrated by some, its incredible
Closing lyrics "In Perfect Harmony!"sung in perfect harmony!! PTX of course.
You are so right with how they are all talented enough (and unique enough, with charisma and "it-factor" enough) to be spectacular solo artists. Which is soooo rare in groups. Suggestions for more Pentatonix -- "Happy Now" (their original), "New Rules x Are You That Somebody" (Dua Lipa x Aaliya mashup), "Sweater Weather" (The Neighborhood), "Gold" (Kiiara)
New Rules and Gold are FANTASTIC! ❤️

@@heidifruchtl354 exactly 👍
Addition of a couple of key changes is incredible and FYI, if you have time, there is a behind-the-scenes video for Can You Feel. Not for reaction but just to learn how they do the magic they do.
Please do consider Wizard of Ahhs by Todrick Hall featuring PTX. Kirstin absolutely kills it.
#2 suggestion is Superfruit's Frozen Medley with Kirstin joining them. And don't forget to wait for the outros and bloopers after the "subscribe"
Mitch is just casually having way too much fun with this 😂 while I’m here just speechless 😮
New rules / are you that somebody needs to be heard. They have some great songs but this mashup is perfection. It has Matt in it and really shows his ability at bass. Kirsten and Mitch harmonize perfectly with Scott taking lead for most the song. Kevin beatboxing is incredible as well.
ABSOLUTELY ❤
💯💯💯❤️
Glad you did this one. Please try Run To You, an original, and beautiful!
Aren’t they just perfection!!!
I thought i would let you know they have just been awarded a gold star on the hollywood walk of fame !!! well deserved and i am elated for them keep up the great work

Definitely!
Great reaction "wizard of ah's" is so fun and would love to hear "shallow"
This performance is a work of art!

The world for once in perfect harmony = PTX!!! 🤯🤯🤯❤️❤️❤️
Yes!! Love this one
Radioactive, Gold, Sing, and New Rules x Are You That Somebody.
You're ready for Aha live in Singapore at the Star Vista. Mitch goes off and slays
Sound of Silense, Amazing Grace
Another reactor said when he first saw Pentatonix that it was like one of those movies where some kids from different backgrounds all end up in the same foster home and end up conquering the world.
Hahah, perfect. I've seen them being called avengers as well.
I also suggest Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy, another great video from them. They actually won a Grammy Award for the cover!!
The Wizards of ahhh's really showcases each voice with Kirstie having the lead the entire way through.....it's pretty amazing
Mitch in front of an orchestra. That would be the Star Wars Tribute at AMA'S 2015.
6:28: "In perfect harmony" Yes! Yes, I can hear that. You really sang that in perfect harmony. More perfect is not possible.
Amazing Grace, Mad World, Popspring 2016 (all of it) and Mitch’s solo cover of Your Power! Also their originals Love Again and Coffee in Bed!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Making the impossible possible!" Yes, exactly!
PTX Imagine is simply the best.
Thanks for finally getting to this. I loved your reaction.
This is one of their best harmonies, hands down. I love listening to it, and never get tired
My recommendation would be "Run to You". An original that's fairly old but still one of my all-time PTX performances! You'll love it!
One of my favorites is their original called Love again.
Just stunning !!!What else can you say.......
Ptx Amazing Grace
You definitely need to check out two of their originals Sing and Love Again. I think you will love them!
Wizard of Ahhs is a great place to go next!
lol, I knew that high note was coming.... your jaw fell so hard I'm pretty sure I felt it on the other side of the world
I've watched you react to pentatonix from the beginning and have enjoyed your enthusiasm so much.....got a cpl of suggestions for you....hey momma/hit the road jack....boogie woogie bugal boy.....feel it still...on my way home...ty for all your wonderful passionate reactions...have a blessed day.
One of my favorites is "My Favorite Things". Absolutely amazing!
Love your comments. The best group I've ever heard. It's amazing how I have a different favorite singers in this group every time I hear a song by them.
Another vote for Wizard of Ahhhs! You will absolutely love it.
You should check out their sing-off journey. It’s crazy to see how far they have come.
Wizard of Ahhhs by Todrick Hall featuring PTX is a must see!!! From their earlier days. Awesome!!!
