I am such a huge fan of 'live' vocals or music of any kind. There is an edge to 'live' performances that gets scrubbed out in a production number. So I am heartily with you in seeing them 'live'.

Oh definitely. I found it hilarious to hear him say that right before the high notes. I was watching his face to see his expression for the high notes while laughing silently. I was also laughing silently when the song finished

As far as not knowing what to say, that is the highest compliment you can give an artist. That means there is no word that you know that can adequately describe what you have just seen or heard. Right before Mitch goes on to his knees you'll hear a loud low Rumble. That's Avi blowing out a speaker. Avi who is a classically trained singer wrote that introduction. Mitch is insane in this video. That high note of his is show-stopping! However, people also need to give love to Avi for damn near blowing out my speaker on the bass end! This is one of my favorite live performance videos for them. So glad you reacted to this one.

@@GOTGames I think you'll really love Popspring - it's more professionally recorded, but still clearly live. New riffs and runs and 3 originals plus the MJ medley - it's a winner. If it's too long with all 4 songs, break it into 2 at a time, or even singles. Easy to do because there's a distinct break between songs. I'm watching for it!

i haven't watched any of your pentatonix reactions but as soon as i saw you uploaded this i got insane flasbacks. i remember years ago being obsessed with this specific performance and watching tons of reactions for days in a row. i haven't seen or heard this since, i think it's been 7 or 8 years, and all i needed was to see the title to remember every emotion from back when i was 14. i don't know if i'm making any sense but THANK YOU for reminding me this exists

I get the supreme honor to see Pentatonix Live 2 times and Mitch/Messer live All in the next 2 months!! To say I'm excited is the understatement of the CENTURY!! 😂 Messer has his first live show in LA 2 weeks after PTX does their show at the Hollywood bowl. I also just got my ticket for the FIRST show of their Christmas tour in November. This is the BEST birthday gifts I could have ever dreamed of. Priceless reaction. The next live performance videos you should see are their 2016 Popspring performance (4 songs) and then their December 2021 live performance of Hallelujah from their Evergreen Tour. And you can see them in concert in the UK in May 2023.
I jumped on this as soon as I saw the PTX song come up with your reaction lol. I had been suggesting this . Glad you Love it! I say that before I have seen the reaction. Lol PTX just announced a Winter Concert tour. Last year you could buy virtual tickets. That is what I did.
That confused, mind-blown look on your face cracked me up! This was a tour-de-force by Mitch and Avi, and Kevin. I'm sure someone below mentioned, that during the chorale piece (brought to them by Avi), Kevin was offstage putting away his cello. There is a big gap on the stage between Mitch and Kirstie where Kevin had been sitting. Just as Aha! started, Mitch moved to center stage, Scott followed him and Kevin came onstage at the right. Unfortunately, the person taking the never showed the whole stage again, but Kevin is there, making all those crazy beats, whooshes and rattles that you hear. So glad you finally saw this.
Runs around screaming and flailing FINALLY! He truly understands now! This is basically the holy grail of Mitch slaps. Because it was live. It was way better than their recorded version. It was on a shitty camera phone and STILL better than most music on the radio. And Mitch hitting those insane notes thanks to jetlag plus two shotgunned Red Bulls and Avi blowing out the subwoofer was everything to everyone.

I stumbled upon your reactions because I have been a Pentaholic since their inception. I honestly believe they are a spiritual gift to the world. Nobody can do to a song what Pentatonix does. That said, I have been sitting in my truck in a grocery store parking lot and watching every Pentatonix reaction you have done. I love watching others being deeply moved by art, humanity, or life of any kind. They say that eyes are the windows to someone’s soul. I say that the way they react to the above mentioned things allows us inside that person’s soul. It’s an extraordinary thing to let people in like you do. Your expressions of joy, excitement, wonder, love, respect, etc., etc., etc. are beautiful to watch. It is a great gift you have. You’re not afraid to feel, and to share those feelings to lift us all up. I just want to say a very sincere thank you for your willingness to share your own infectious spirit with all of us.
Knew this would blow you away! There are whole videos of people just reacting to Mitch's high notes on this one. Also Avi blew the speakers (again!) with his low notes. This is apparently what Mitch sounds like jet lagged and on red bulls. Wow - I wish I sounded like that on red bulls! I have been a fan for 12 years but have never been able to see them live but I've got tickets for their show at Hammersmith next May. Can't wait. I love them all too but will always love Mitch the best. There are a couple of live videos where Scott has to admit he forgot to sing because he was so blown away by Mitch! Please some Superfruit next - Hip hop goes Broadway 1 and 2 or evolution of GAGA, or Empire or the Beyonce or Rihanna album medleys.

I’ll never tire of watching reactors with the ‘WTH is this’ face in the beginning during christus factus est and graduate to different levels of ‘WTAF 🤯’ as it goes on. Everyone rightfully loses it over Mitch, but also go back and listen to the other 4 absolutely slay the timing and pitch in background vocals. eta: My suggestion is to do one of the evolution videos next-Evolution of Michael Jackson, Rihanna or Ariana Grande. Pick whichever one you’re most excited about-they’re all straight fire and all recorded live in studio, in one take.
LOVED your reaction! I knew you would be blown away by this one. I have been fortunate enough to see Pentatonix live 3 times (once with Avi and twice with Matt) and LOVED every minute of every show. Their longest show I attended was back in the Summer of 2019 and they were on stage for over 2 hours. I was also fortunate enough to get VIP tickets and my daughter (who was 12 at the time) got to go backstage to the Meet and Greet and met them. They are all sooooooo damn nice. Good, genuine people. I just ordered tickets today for their new Christmas tour, and (my now 15 year old) daughter and I will be going to see them again in Dec. So excited and can't wait. I hope you get the chance to see them live one day as well. It is definitely an experience.

It’s a DOUBLE SLAP. First….AVI!!!! No human voice cannot only go so low, but then be able to do that little melody WAY DOWN THERE. So much more difficult than just hitting one note. Then MITCH! We all know what MITCH can do, but seeing and hearing him perform this Red Bull injected performance which you can see he is totally enjoying himself doing…UNBELIEVABLE! Avi on those low notes, that apparently broke the speakers; the overall arrangement with Scott and Kirstie backing; Kevin on the beat boxing; and Mich totally taking control of the song and the stage, with impeccable vocals. What a performer he is. His smile at the end was just great - he knew he delivered what the fans came for. Mitch's vocal acrobatics, timing and precision are impeccable. Pentatonix are masters of live performances that is why they will be inducted with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the Class of 2023 - Category - Live Theatre, and so well deserved. Please do more live performances. 1) Recommend PTX cover of "No" with Mitch in a black bow tie - it is a fan video and 150% entertainment value. You should do the studio version first to get the impeccable vocals and then the live version to see the stage movements. 2) Also "Joyful Joyful" professionally taped from the Evergreen Tour 2021 is on the PTX page. 3) Fan videos from Evergreen Tour 2021 are also posted.4) Also the performance from Atlantis in The Bahamas in April of this year. 5) Definitely Popspring 2016 - professionally taped concert in Japan - Can't Sleep Love, live, surpasses the studio version by miles. 6) Christmas Under the Stars with BYUTV in 2021 - I Saw Three Ships, Carol of the Bells and Frosty the Snowman. PTX will be playing in London in May 2023, they added a second night so you might still be able to get tickets. PTX released a new single yesterday, the first from the new album to come out on October 28. Hope that you will also react to Mitch as Messer to see another side of the artist. @@GOTGames I think you'll really love Popspring - it's more professionally recorded, but still clearly live. New riffs and runs and 3 originals plus the MJ medley - it's a winner. If it's too long with all 4 songs, break it into 2 at a time, or even singles. Easy to do because there's a distinct break between songs. I'm watching for it!

i haven't watched any of your pentatonix reactions but as soon as i saw you uploaded this i got insane flasbacks. i remember years ago being obsessed with this specific performance and watching tons of reactions for days in a row. i haven't seen or heard this since, i think it's been 7 or 8 years, and all i needed was to see the title to remember every emotion from back when i was 14. i don't know if i'm making any sense but THANK YOU for reminding me this exists

Messer has his first live show in LA 2 weeks after PTX does their show at the Hollywood bowl. I also just got my ticket for the FIRST show of their Christmas tour in November. Priceless reaction. The next live performance videos you should see are their 2016 Popspring performance (4 songs) and then their December 2021 live performance of Hallelujah from their Evergreen Tour. And you can see them in concert in the UK in May 2023.
I jumped on this as soon as I saw the PTX song come up with your reaction lol. I had been suggesting this . Glad you Love it! I say that before I have seen the reaction. Lol PTX just announced a Winter Concert tour. Last year you could buy virtual tickets. That is what I did.
That confused, mind-blown look on your face cracked me up! This was a tour-de-force by Mitch and Avi, and Kevin. I'm sure someone below mentioned, that during the chorale piece (brought to them by Avi), Kevin was offstage putting away his cello. There is a big gap on the stage between Mitch and Kirstie where Kevin had been sitting. Just as Aha! started, Mitch moved to center stage, Scott followed him and Kevin came onstage at the right. Unfortunately, the person taking the never showed the whole stage again, but Kevin is there, making all those crazy beats, whooshes and rattles that you hear. So glad you finally saw this.

Runs around screaming and flailing FINALLY! He truly understands now! This is basically the holy grail of Mitch slaps. Because it was live. It was way better than their recorded version. It was on a shitty camera phone and STILL better than most music on the radio. And Mitch hitting those insane notes thanks to jetlag plus two shotgunned Red Bulls and Avi blowing out the subwoofer was everything to everyone.

I stumbled upon your reactions because I have been a Pentaholic since their inception. I honestly believe they are a spiritual gift to the world. Nobody can do to a song what Pentatonix does.
That said, I have been sitting in my truck in a grocery store parking lot and watching every Pentatonix reaction you have done.
I love watching others being deeply moved by art, humanity, or life of any kind. They say that eyes are the windows to someone’s soul. I say that the way they react to the above mentioned things allows us inside that person’s soul. It’s an extraordinary thing to let people in like you do. Your expressions of joy, excitement, wonder, love, respect, etc., etc., etc. are beautiful to watch. It is a great gift you have. You’re not afraid to feel, and to share those feelings to lift us all up.
I just want to say a very sincere thank you for your willingness to share your own infectious spirit with all of us.
Knew this would blow you away! There are whole videos of people just reacting to Mitch's high notes on this one. Also Avi blew the speakers (again!) with his low notes. This is apparently what Mitch sounds like jet lagged and on red bulls. Wow - I wish I sounded like that on red bulls! I have been a fan for 12 years but have never been able to see them live but I've got tickets for their show at Hammersmith next May. Can't wait. I love them all too but will always love Mitch the best. There are a couple of live videos where Scott has to admit he forgot to sing because he was so blown away by Mitch! Please some Superfruit next - Hip hop goes Broadway 1 and 2 or evolution of GAGA, or Empire or the Beyonce or Rihanna album medleys.

Yeah, Mitch is A LOT to process in this one, isn't he? That's what happens when you try and cure jet lag with two Red Bulls - well, if you're Mitch, that's what happens, anyway... and Avi's Thor-level bass blew the speakers halfway through as well, which explains why the low sounds went a bit fuzzy after.

I’ll never tire of watching reactors with the ‘WTH is this’ face in the beginning during christus factus est and graduate to different levels of ‘WTAF 🤯’ as it goes on. Everyone rightfully loses it over Mitch, but also go back and listen to the other 4 absolutely slay the timing and pitch in background vocals.
eta: My suggestion is to do one of the evolution videos next-Evolution of Michael Jackson, Rihanna or Ariana Grande. Pick whichever one you’re most excited about-they’re all straight fire and all recorded live in studio, in one take.
LOVED your reaction! I knew you would be blown away by this one. I have been fortunate enough to see Pentatonix live 3 times (once with Avi and twice with Matt) and LOVED every minute of every show. Their longest show I attended was back in the Summer of 2019 and they were on stage for over 2 hours. I was also fortunate enough to get VIP tickets and my daughter (who was 12 at the time) got to go backstage to the Meet and Greet and met them. They are all sooooooo damn nice. Good, genuine people. I just ordered tickets today for their new Christmas tour, and (my now 15 year old) daughter and I will be going to see them again in Dec. So excited and can't wait. I hope you get the chance to see them live one day as well. It is definitely an experience.

It’s a DOUBLE SLAP. First….AVI!!!! No human voice cannot only go so low, but then be able to do that little melody WAY DOWN THERE. So much more difficult than just hitting one note.
Then MITCH! We all know what MITCH can do, but seeing and hearing him perform this Red Bull injected performance which you can see he is totally enjoying himself doing…UNBELIEVABLE!

Avi on those low notes, that apparently broke the speakers; the overall arrangement with Scott and Kirstie backing; Kevin on the beat boxing; and Mich totally taking control of the song and the stage, with impeccable vocals. What a performer he is. His smile at the end was just great - he knew he delivered what the fans came for. Mitch's vocal acrobatics, timing and precision are impeccable. Pentatonix are masters of live performances that is why they will be inducted with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the Class of 2023 - Category - Live Theatre, and so well deserved. Please do more live performances. 1) Recommend PTX cover of "No" with Mitch in a black bow tie - it is a fan video and 150% entertainment value. You should do the studio version first to get the impeccable vocals and then the live version to see the stage movements. 2) Also "Joyful Joyful" professionally taped from the Evergreen Tour 2021 is on the PTX page. 3) Fan videos from Evergreen Tour 2021 are also posted.4) Also the performance from Atlantis in The Bahamas in April of this year. 5) Definitely Popspring 2016 - professionally taped concert in Japan - Can't Sleep Love, live, surpasses the studio version by miles. 6) Christmas Under the Stars with BYUTV in 2021 - I Saw Three Ships, Carol of the Bells and Frosty the Snowman. PTX will be playing in London in May 2023, they added a second night so you might still be able to get tickets. PTX released a new single yesterday, the first from the new album to come out on October 28. Hope that you will also react to Mitch as Messer to see another side of the artist. so glad to see you back on ptx. other people will probably mention these things about this. first avi blew out the speaker at the beginning, mitch was jet lagged, had 2 red bulls, and apparently they kicked in right before aha. it created one of those special moments you wish you could have been there,probably never to be duplicated. i happened upon several weeks ago a n absolute genius guitarist who is polish marcin. if you haven't reacted to him yet you will be as impressed as you were with your first experience with ptx. love your reactions

For a performance recorded on a cellphone it's just amazing. Avi's bass notes and Mitch's soaring highs is so incredible! They say Mitch had not slept for for a while and two red bulls before the performance made for a fabulous show.
