Beef dripping is far better for us than all those seed oils. You get the stuff that looks like butter packets, next to the butter in tesco or Morrisons
If you want a different way of doing chips with beef all duck fat my suggestion is melt the fat and pour them over your chips then freeze them and keep repeating the process and till you've got a layer of duck fat around them and then literally line it with parchment paper or over improved paper or Silicon mate that's how I do mine if I want to have crispy crispy crispy chips in the air fryer
This recipe fills my heart with joy - thankyou! I'm lucky enough to live near a chippy that fries in dripping but I'm over the moon I can make them in the mini airfryer at the caravan now too.
We used to make our own dripping by pouring any left over juices and fat from cooking meat into a dripping jar, put it in the fridge to harden and use it to spread on toast. I answered your question about curry in the same thread.
Hi Deano chippies look great who needs healthy dry chips 😊 by the way the crisper tray raises the food off the bottom so the air can circulate for even cooking 👍
There’s only one way to do chips and that is in a big deep fryer filled with at least 2 to 3 litres of beef dripping and deep fry. I miss those days and use an air fryer now as I have to lower my cholesterol ffs.
I have done this with duck fat they are amazing. You better part boiling the chips for 5 mins and then dry them. Put them in a bowel and ruffle them. Melt the fat slightly and a light coating of flour, salt, pepper and chili and then air fry. Will come out amazing 🎉
great video , deano looked good , im using my airfryer more now thanks to you
I'd have probably melted the dripping, poured over the chips in a bowl and stirred
Then cooked them with the shelf thing underneath
@Smokey McBongwater I thought you didn't use any oil, dripping or lard to coat then fry your chips in an air fryer pal 🤔 😂
@iansims2984 It's probs healthier than deep frying in it . Most things say to use a spoonful of oil in the air fryer

I think lard is the best for chips
