I know an answer, but I'm not 100% sure. Archers used their middle finger and their index finger to use the bow and shoot their arrows. When archers were caught their enemies cut their middle finger and their index finger. At the end of a war, archers used to show their middle finger to their enemies to show that they didn't caught them and they failed

Correct. There is an aspect of the pre-Greek goddess (Aphrodite) called "Aphrodite Kalliglautos" (spelling), which means "Aphrodite Nice-Ass". The statues show her with an exposed rump, looking back over her shoulder. Marilyn Monroe (accidentally) reprised the pose famously. But yes, her rump is the upside-down (to us) heart symbol. Doesn't mean it can be a ball-sac too, but I've never heard that.

The OK sign has been recently taken over by the alt-right. However, when they use it, it's done upside-down. There is nothing racist--although there is something culturally appropriative--about using it in the standard fashion. If memory serves me, the reason it might get you kicked out of bars in the UK is that it's taken on an obscene meaning there, referencing a sexual act. (Sort of like how flashing a peace sign is cool, but do it backward with your fingers toward you and you're asking for a fight.) It's the old real estate slogan again . . . location, location, location.

@@ninamason9001 The ok sign was not taken over by anyone. 4chan trolled idiotic journalists to believe it as so, and they all just decided to parrot same crap and pronounce it as true. Isint it odd that before no one saw it as such. But not long ago after loads of journalists decided to proclaim as if this is a universally accepted racist sign, it suddenly became one. And now activists and journalists just started to look for people doing ok sign and proclaim that they are racist.

No the Rod of Asclepius is from Biblical era. It was a sacred object consisting of a serpent wrapped around a pole mentioned in the Bible in the Book of Numbers (Numbers 21:5-9).
5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
    - King James Bible.
King Hezekiah later destroyed the bronze serpent, which, by that time, had existed for 700 years, because it was being worshiped (2 Kings 18:4).
This is consistent with the claim in the New Testament of the Bible that Jesus also delivers believers from eternal death in the passage found in John 3:14-15.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
    - King James Bible.

The earliest known swastika is from 15,000 years ago - part of "an intricate meander pattern of joined-up swastikas" found on a late paleolithic figurine of a bird, carved from mammoth ivory, found in Mezine, Ukraine. It has been suggested that this swastika may be a stylized picture of a stork in flight.[52] As the carving was found near phallic objects, this may also support the idea that the pattern was a fertility symbol.[53]

But he made note that the Native American symbol faced the opposite direction from the Nazi swastika (top arm faced left, not right). But I also understand it's a common graphically powerful shape that has many origins and uses across the globe and time. The Nazi's had a strong sense of design, but stole just about every idea from others, especially the ancient Romans.

I heard a long ago that the staff/snake symbol was originally from the Hebrew in the desert and after some research here's what I found from a Rabbi.
The snake and staff symbol traditionally associated with the healing arts is often attributed to Greek mythology either as the single-snake emblem of Asklepios, or as the double-snake emblem representing the caduceus (magic wand) of Hermes (Mercury).
The Asklepion emblem of a single snake coiled around a staff has been associated with curing since the 5th century BCE, when Asklepios became accepted by the Greeks as the god of healing. Whether he was also an historical figure as healer in earlier ages is not certain.
The caduceus of Hermes, portrayed by two snakes intertwined around a staff topped by wings, is related to the mythological messenger of the gods who guided souls to the underworld, and was seen as protector of travelers, shepherds, merchants and thieves. During the Middle Ages the caduceus became a symbol of pharmacy and alchemy, and eventually, although "mythologically" incorrect, came to be associated with medicine.
The event you refer to occurred in the desert after the Exodus in approximately 1300 BCE. The Torah states (Numbers 21:5-9):
"The people spoke against G-d and against Moses, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in this desert, for there is no bread and no water, and we are disgusted with this rotten bread. And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass that everyone that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived."
This event would seem to predate Greek mythology and may, as you suggest, be a source for what came to be the association of a single snake and staff with healing.
Regarding the cause of the plague, our Sages taught, "Let the snake, which was smitten for speaking evil to Eve come and punish those who spread slander about the manna. Let the snake, for which all types of food taste the same, come and punish those ingrates who complain about the manna which miraculously has many tastes" (Rashi, from Midrash Tanchuma, Chukat 19, Num. Rabbah 19:22).
Regarding the healing through the snake on the staff, our Rabbis commented, "Could a snake [on the pole] cause death [by not looking at it] or give life [by looking at it]? Rather, at the time Israel would look upward and subject their heart to their Father in Heaven, they would be cured; but if not, they would waste away" (Rashi, from Rosh HaShanah 29a). Their healing consisted solely in comprehending that a Jew is to live above the natural order of things. By looking at the snake and then upward, they repented and then re-affirmed their trust in G-d and His healing power, and were cured.
To the extent that these symbols are based on Greek mythology, they are to be associated with paganism and idolatry. Unfortunately, over time even Moses snake on the staff was worshipped as an idol. When the righteous king Hezekiah rose to the throne of Judah in the late 8th century BCE, the verse records: "He removed the high places, and broke the images, and cut down the groves, and broke in pieces the brazen serpent that Moses had made, for in those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and he called it Nechushtan" (2 Kings 18:4).
One must not deify doctors nor mythologize medicine, but rather one must enlist their help knowing that it is G-d which enables them and their methods to heal.
    -Rabbi
    Thoughts?

@@madekamasan629 sorry I do not agree. If we're going to talk about which one is older than the other, the best method to find it out is to check the archeological findings.
The next step to retract the orign of any sign and their meaning is to check "when" those signs have appeared and where they have been used amd for what occasion they have been used.
In a lot of cave depictions around Anatolia and other places around the world, this sign has been found and dated up to 7000 years and even older in some other places.
Hinduism is an old religion but we're talking about a society and culture that were using this sign AT LEAST for 10.000 years which is proven by archelological findings and this is way longer than hinduism and their teachings.
You need to realise that hinduism is just about 4000 years old. The primary texts, known as the Vedas, were composed around 1500 B.C. then Hinduism as we know now has gathered around these teachings. So it was not a whole religion to begin with.
I'm sure you can see the time difference between 4000 years and 10.000 years. Even if you do not like the 10.000 years you cannot deny the 7000 years, so there is still 3000 years discrepance therefore this proves in every way that this sign belonged to the Turanic race and culture.
Europe and the western societies should stop teaching false history and begin to accept the truths. But they won't do that because politically its not in their agenda.
