If there's nothing back there to ensure squareness. You get a tape measure, and pull from something further forward that's square. Then equal both sides from that square reference point. JS. Of course that only matters if you're trying to ensure something is properly square.
Well thought out installation. One question- Did you seal the screw holes when you relocated the stern handle, or did the factory screws not penetrate through the hull? I couldn't tell.
Love the setup, but if you flipped the water would get in in many places , especially in the PWM plate and the motor through the nylon mesh braid. I would have had marine goop all over. Other than that, love the setup and thanks for all your effort and work producing the videos for all, much apreciated.

I live in Northern SC, mins from the NC border and have some of the best, most scenic lakes for Fishing! My last piece arrived this morning...(THE AWESOME MOUNT)(shipped Friday, arrived on Monday) for my pro120. Come this weekend I get to put her in water and be the talk of this area!! Have taken Pics along the process but don't think I can post them here, but will forward to Paul. You guys need to get in touch with him if you're interested in Trolling Motors for your YAKS!

Hammerhead - Excellent video series! I have a question about removing the locking tilt function on the motor shaft. Will this cause 'kickback' in any part of field operation?
Wanted to add that I went with neon orange paracord that matched the shock cord already on the boat. Amazon Prime from Paracord Planet, great pricing! It was a nice touch! Also, I ordered a waterproof LCD battery voltage/monitor gauge for Lithium Batteries on Prime also. $9.00. that was perfect for the ammo boxes.
Stretch MFE the cable from front to back is the same cable that comes with the trolling motor so it should be fine. The wire between the PWM and the motor is the same size as what comes in the motor, 14 gauge I believe

Man that a lot of holes drilled, Mine used preexisting holes no new ones drilled, Been on there 2 years with no issues.
This kayak was done about 4 years ago. No issues.

Those are sealed off by a threaded insert from the factory

Do you make mounts for other Kayaks? I have a Jackson Big Rig FD (2019). It has the mounting area for the micropower pole.

Unfortunately I have not been close enough too one to know if any of them would fit. I think my pro 100 mount would be close.
