I cannot understand why they have such a beautiful line that is budget friendly but with the Hardlex crystal. More budget brands are now using sapphire. Unfortunate. Thanks for the review.
I used to be hardline on the sapphire issue but I’ve come around. Hardlex has a character unlike sapphire, a little warmer, and seiko treats it with an anti reflective coating. It’s also durable. I just picked up one of these watches and it’s good, like really good.
Hi sir, I think cocktail time dial is still a winner . It might be objective, but I think the numerics on the dial of sary persarge spoil the beauty and cover the large area of the dial, whereas on the cocktail time the indexes are more beautiful and the dial is enough to be seen
Love everything about that dial. Dimensions too. Mostly. It does look a bit thick for a 5 atm watch with no extra complications. Also not crazy about the the uniformly high polished case, or the crystal. But over all, a very pretty watch. And much better on the tan strap.
a little "plain" after a while. check out GS sgbh267 whirlpool design. it blows it away. I think srpe43 beats sharp edge series in terms of dial texture. there's more depth.
Nice clip ! IMHO Seiko had it right with the earlier SARB's. Better calibers and tastier product branding. Much nicer fonts and sizing, in badge and 6 o'clock labels. This dial is gorgeous, unfortunately cluttered by this new style.
The best dial for me in the presage line would be the honeycomb pattern on the SSA409J1/SARY159. Such an amazing dial, only to be ruined by the open heart.
@@EverydayWatchGuy Thank you. I've been looking for something like that for a while, because keeping straps below the watch box cushions is a losing battle. Where did you get it?
I like pretty much all the Presage models, but this one bothers me a bit. The dial just seems too busy for me with the pattern. I do like the mix of hour markers and use of numbers . The calendar window is awesome, and the hands are very elegant. Dial just isn’t for me.
I'm glad you were happy with the new strap but I had to end the video. In my opinion, the black and blue were classy but the brown and blue clashed too much for me and was too ugly to bear.
The texture of the dial is modeled after the light refraction made by the bottom of a cocktail glass (or a whiskey glass) on a surface.
Finally a smaller size! Thank you for the nice review!
That dial is absolutely gorgeous! Case diameter is perfect.
Totally agree! Thanks for watching.
Mines just arrived today. Its perfect. You're right, perfect every day watch.

True. Any watch over $400 should come with sapphire as standard. Though I get domed sapphire is tricky to make and could push the price way up.

@@hotdawg471 How much better is Hardlex compared to a normal mineral crystal for example? Does it get any scratches?
My thoughts exactly.
Very nice dial, didn't notice how detailed it was until your macro shots, then it hit me.
Thanks. Yeah the dial details are understated 👌

Dial is just awesome. I have ordered the same with mojito green dial.
How safe is it to wear in heavy rain or at the beach/poolside?
Love the smaller case size and the beautiful dial. Of the reviewers I follow, You are the first to review it.
Thanks for the feedback 👌
i think this would look banging with a blue canvas/denim type of strap. great find
Good idea, thanks 👍
What’s the difference between this watch and the SRPE43j1? Aren’t they both the same?
Strap seems to be perfect for that watch, can you give us a link to buy this exact model please ?
The strap I have it on is the Hadley-Roma Men's MSM881XA-160 oil-tan strap from Amazon.ca. Cheers
@@EverydayWatchGuy thx !
Which one is better this or srpb41j1 blue moon coctail bracelet edition ?
That dial is a beauty. Nice video 👍
I appreciate your feedback. Cheers 👍

Nice, just needs sapphire. The best dial design is the new presage sharp edged series. You do good reviews, I enjoy your channel.
Thanks for your feedback!

Excellent review . That dial is stunning.
Hey man what strap is that ? Could you maybe link it ?
The strap is a Hadley Roma brown leather. It used to sell on Amazon 👍
Be sure to catalog all of your wrist still shots. I think you have a future as a wrist model 😁. Great review, thanks!
Haha, thanks for the advice 👍
Please, do you know the glass/dial diameter??
I have just picked up a used one. Beautiful watch, but overpriced for a watch with that movement
Great review! Thank you
hope they put this dial design into the sharp edge series!
Nice clip !

Do you know the diameter of the dial?
Sarb065 best ever 🍸 cocktail
I like everything about the watch except the hands. The polished hands make it difficult to read in certain light conditions.
Thanks for the vid! That's a cool leather box on the shelf. Is that for watches?
Thanks for the feedback. The box is for watch straps👍
@@EverydayWatchGuy Thank you. I've been looking for something like that for a while, because keeping straps below the watch box cushions is a losing battle. Where did you get it?
@@DimePieceTimepiece I found this box in an antiques store and repurposed it 👌
@@EverydayWatchGuy Thank you I'll have to keep my eyes open
Have you all seen the green and gold version.... ? Oooooh.
what is price in lndia and how to purchase in lndia
Looks amazing on your wrist!

Thanks for your candid feedback on this Presage model. Cheers
Is this watch magnetic resistant?
It claims to be antimagnatic on the case back 👍
Beautiful dial. Good size.
I like the original strap better
Is this the same as the SRPE43J1?
Yeah, it's the same watch, just different model number between Asia and North America
@@EverydayWatchGuy Thanks, and thanks for the great video! Really considering this one!
Good review
I like it but I like the Orient Star Classic better. Similar size.
Perfect watch
Does it come in black?
I don't think so, sorry
Why there so no 40mm? :/
great video
That 7 o clock marker is sooooo misaligned

No sapphire or AR coating...come on Seiko your getting left behind.
👍👍👍.

They are the women’s watch. Just new label My opinion
