I can't believe someone who enjoyed Tsukihime or the Nasuverse in general would say they don't need to see Crimson Moon, AKA Type Moon, the namesake of the company. I just can't believe that's a real opinion.

I agree. I’m relatively new to the franchise, about maybe a year and a half(maximum of two years) and I was so excited when I was introduced to the crimson moon and Zelretch. Like who’s this dude that’s basically the equivalent to a god to where even the damn vampires revere him? So as I’m looking him up I find out…. That basically no one knows who he is, not truly. Like how do none of us know what that man got cooking up in outer space?! 😭
It makes me sad that some Fate novels takes way too long time to have new volumes.

well we did get type: earth/arcueid as a servant, confirmation for the existence of sefar in the fgo timeline, saw primordial chaos and got ort as an enemy.
so both fate/extra and extella are now linked with fgo and close to confirmed to be in the main timeline.
with the ultimate one ort being the major threat in lb7 theres a good chance for more of them to come in the future if fgo gets a part 3.
and the confirmation of primordials like chaos to exist gives even more options like an unsealed tiamat for instance.
overall fgo dropped some major lore updates and possible future plot extensions for the franchise since lb5.

Honestly it frustrates me more when something has a build up for years and the story would keep hint or go in direction where it looks like we are finally getting some content regarding it but than its suprise, it was actually completely unrelated or we aren't actually going to do that now, some example i can think off

1. I agree that vitch not being a tamamo tails is just fucking stupid, like it's so easy and then they had to make her complicated that's she's tamamo but also not tamamo like WHAT?.
2. The apostles just seems to be making it up as the Times goes or maybe we Miss something.
3. I mean it's still camelot but yeah, the reason it's why it was that way is because Nasu though his first draft ( Morgan being just an ordinary evil witch and the camelot related thing) is just barebone and not up to his standard hence why he did lb6 like this.

Stuff like crimson moon, true magic, zelrich hell even the other types.
When you hype shit the way nasu did these subjects you cant just not give us something.
My biggest problem with nasu waiting to reveal things, is the characters/servants that would be cool to see/see more of. And it takes too long for them to see that character again or see some of the people who would make the most sense seeing as a servant. Like son wu kung, nyarlathotep, amaterasu all have been teased as servants. But we haven't seen none of them, son wu Kong was teased heavily in the journey to the west event, nyarlathotep was teased with summer bb, amaterasu was teased since the beginning of extra as a beast and teased more with draco bond five lines (yes they didn't say it was amaterasu, but come on who else who else would she be talking about and it fit in with Nero beast form and tammo beast form to have at least know each other. It could also be about hakuno too.) And for characters, aoko is such a big character in type moon and compared to the other heroines and protagonists, you hardly see her. Which is weird since she is literally the first protagonist of type moon and has literal true magic, like her sister got more scene time than aoko (heck shion has more scene time then aoko). I would think aoko would be in fgo by now but she ain't. Plus the whole heat death of the universe thing aoko have to stop would be a perfect story for fgo. So that's my problem with it, just so many of these characters are teased and not shown for years, so I hope we get to see those four in fgo at some point.

I think I’m in a way blessed that I’m not fully well versed in type-moon lore, so I’m content with what’s going on more/less. Any lore I do hear about like the Crimson Moon stuff is like “well…I guess that’s a thing now 🤷♂️"
Notes was written in 1999, ORT only recently in lostbelt 6 got a large story moment besides the small snippets from tsukihime
I mean, looking at Aoko in tsukihime and melty blood she’s chill anf goofy. Aoko in Mahoyo is somewhat tsundere and short tempered. I wanna see how did she developed to what she is like i saw her in Tsukihime

I have to agree on the Fate/Requiem part funny enough I was just talking about it an hour ago.
I love this franchise but it's devastating to see Requiem take long and it's ironically why I want the event to win the rerun poll so maybe they can see that it has a solid following and hopefully pick it up again. Cause I feel like it was abandoned.
I want people to say "oh I got into the franchise cause of Requiem" it has that potential. Also the jokes and memes of "Erice is from Fgo" is funny at first but hits hard cause it's practically true
It sucks to be a fan of a niche part of the franchise but that's just how it rolls sometimes unfortunately.
Also seeing Requiems peers: Strange Fake, Extra, Samurai Remnant, and even Lost Einherjar doing "better" both gives me hope and also brings me down cause that can also be Requiem. It can stand up there with those titles but oh well 💀
It is REALLY sad that Requiem gets shafted so hard. I started with OG FSN, then game back with Zero and FGO hooked me in for good, but when I read the fan translations for Requeim I was *stunned*!
It is so different from all other fates, so refreshing! It is like you walk into the wet dreams of any FGO players: a world full of servants where magic now came back to reign everything! We can have demi-servants, pseudo-servants, alters, gods, timelines shocking each other...!!!

@@KuromiMago EXACTLY! The concept is spot on great and can expand further beyond. It's in story year is coming up and that is my next big bet for it to do a return or at least attempt to do an uproar of some kind.
People seriously dont understand that he's been on this for 20ish years, with a big universe alot of inner works in it and over time the audience has changed and just people in general along with media. Plus hindsight can be a real bitch cuz what sounded good back then may not hit right in your mind today. Its hard for writer's to keep track of all this stuff while staying on to of their game
I cant imagine being an old type moon fan because just being a new one frustrates me to no end. My current obsession is zelretch and the types but its obvious we wont get anything soon

AND all of this after multiple mangakas have contributed to bring nasuverse to where it is now....had we relied on Nasu alone for the entire universe....we would still be waiting for heaven's feel
I think expecting to get a deep dive in every bit of information thrown around is unrealistic and even unnecessary. Part of the fascination with certain characters and elements stems from how little we know about them.
@@rejoicingfakepriest201 I only partially agree. I see why people want to know more but if it's not necessary for the specific story being told, then it's just flavour. Which is fine but not fundamental in my opinion. Take for example Yumina: I am a huge Alice simp and I'd love to get more info on her ancestor and her bloodline in general but if Nasu never delivers then it's still OK. Doesn't take anything away from Mahoyo, from Alice as a character and from my enjoyment of her. Nor does the lack of information on Yumina and the first magic damage my understanding of the story in any way.
Same goes for Zelretch, I don't NEED to see his fight with Crimson Moon. It's cool if we get it but it's not required for now. People just want to see it because Zelretch is supposed to be a badass and they want to see him in action and the fight would be dope. But to this day I don't see a reason why Nasu would need to feel an obligation to show it.
For a comparison, think about LotR: do we know everything about Tom Bombadil? No, and he's possibly the most powerful being on ME. Do we know everything about the 5 wizards? No, some are just mentioned en passant. And it's fine, because they're not needed for the story.
Ultimately I think some mystery is good for worldbuilding, even around big events and characters.
It's more that Nasu just kind of clearly makes a lot of stuff up as he goes, and ends up either partially or completely orphaning plot hooks.
I'm probably going to die by the time Fate/Requiem and Fate/Type Redline got their anime adaptation.

the answer was always there though its just that no one noticed the double meaning on "Suisei no Kumo" only taking the meaning of "Mercury spider" and ignoring "Cloud of Comets"

One of the things I always wanted to see or talk more about would be the Counter Guardians, like Emiya and others, I would like a spinoff or something that would show what their recruitment would be like, showing the darker side of their work keeping the world safe. Because one scene briefly showed Emiya in Rome during the great fire. I would give anything to see him and others carry out missions throughout history, who knows how many empires and kingdoms have been erased from history due to Alaya and her guardians. That would be something interesting in my opinion.
Im an amateur writer and I can tell what Nasu is doing.
He's throwing foreshadowing and completely forgetting to follow up with that storyline.
I know this because I've done it in my first and only original work.
It's not intentional mind you.
If Nasu is anything like my unfocused ass, he probably really wanted to build up to that storyline but he was suddenly struck with inspiration and pursued another storyline.
This happened to me so many times that my own readers had to kick me in the ass saying ''DUDE WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO X EVENT?!".

I hate to be that way becasuse he can do what he wants. But as a person who was waiting so long for Tsukihime remake among other things. It takes so long that overtime by the time it comes out I dont even care anymore. Like with the remake. It took me like a whole year after its release before I played it.
In fairness, I'm willing to credit an author who just writes in the direction of least resistance as long as they can manage to keep going without sinking the ship.
The alternative of an author who has written himself into a dozen years long+ corner holds distinctly less appeal, trust me.
The price of thoroughness is (paradoxically) a scatter-brained approach, I guess?

Honestly, I think both sides have their points. Things like the First and Fourth Magics and their true natures, the church, the whole thing with Zeltrech and Type Moon and Altrouge, and everything considering dead apostles in general have been taking far too long for him to get around to when one considers just how integral they are to everything. Even if Nasu didn't plan for things to go on this long, or in this way, he always intended things to be huge, filled with world building and interwoven with itself, kinda like a mythology or like with modern day comics with multiple stories, countless plot points and mysteries and numerous characters. If he hadn't, he wouldn't go introducing things like The Root or True Magic or Ultimate Ones like Crimson Moon itself in the first place. The problem was in his execution, and just how long it's taken him to get to these big plot points he put out early on for world building and foreshadowing, but were clearly things he wasn't ready to follow through on at the time he put them out. Things he clearly intended to get to later, but due to things not going how he expected them to, as well as him getting sidetracked with newer ideas he came up with half way, he ended up taking much longer than anyone expected, earning some understandable frustration from long time fans. It's like how Scala Ad Caelum as cable town and kingdom hearts 3 were both teased early on, only for Nomura and his team to realize they overshot things and ended up taking 14 years until they actually got to kh3. Now, like you said my man Tsiah iv brought up, it's okay to not have an answer to every little detail, especially for series as big as this one, and it's okay for Nasu to take his time to fully realize things, but for a series as old and popular as this one, there are too many huge plot points like the True Magics and what-not that we hard time fans have been waiting for over two decades to be shown to us, but haven't been followed through yet. At this point the biggest thing we long term fans want is for him to provide answers to the questions we've been asking this whole time. It kinda does feel like he didn't have confidence that things were gonna turn out well, and he was kinda expecting to get canceled partway in or something, only for the franchise to go on way longer and get way more popular than he expected, and now he's stuck having to work his way back to those original ideas this series was built on while making sure no current projects get delayed, and making sure that all of them are consistent with the already established lore, and none of them contradict canon, or block off ideas he now wants to write. My biggest fear is that we'll get another berserk scenario and have Nasu die before he can address these types of things. Don't get me wrong, I have enough faith in the fellow writers he's worked with over the years and who he'll eventually work with, and who he chooses to be his successor to believe that the Nasuverse as a whole can survive and continue even if he were to die, and I don't expect him to disappear on us anytime soon. But, there are certain fundamental questions and plot points concerning the source material for all of these stories he makes that have been around since the beginning that fans won't accept being answered by someone who isn't Nasu, or at least someone who isn't getting Nasu's direct seal of approval on like how the teams he currently works with get. (Quick side tangent here, props to the writer of fate strange fake creating alcides for the sole purpose of following through on his belief that a proper heracles in his right state of mind should be first written and explored by Nasu himself before anyone else gets to write him.) I feel he should get around to these things before he's incapable of answering. He has to be at least in his late 40's by now, and he's not gonna get any younger unless he turns out to be someone like Tom Cruise who can still keep performing like he's twenty even into his sixties.

Its even worse with the localizations where we just finally got Mahayo overseas and just recently on Steam. Tsukihime Remake is finally in the works to come overseas.

If Arcueid bruunstud was in a holy grail war and she was able to sommon 7 servants how broken of a team do u think she could form and what servants would she sommon I'm thinking a team that focuses on 2 main damage dealers such as Alcides and the male king Arthur, and the others would be major supports like the ones that can support those to and output damage to protect them from enemies such as caster Medea to reinforce them with magical energy, Morgan to give them berserker buffs boosting their offense that much more, Castoria to provide support and to hand off the sword of Hercules to Alcides so it can be used to his full potential, emiya to produce a reinforced version of Caliburn for Arthur so he can duel wield I thin that would be a really cool thing to see, and then koyanskya of dark so they can use her noble phantasm if the enemy is able to get through a full powered mega Excalibur and a Alcides with his most powerful weapon Mermidose, and then on top of that they could be either gilgamesh as a finisher with his full potential Ea Enuma Elish and also on top of that enkidu just naturally being sommoned because Arcueid is a earth element of the highest caliber so it would make sense that he would be sommoned just naturally because of that

As a surface level Fate enjoyer, this means little to me. But i feel for you Nasuverse fellas. Hopefully y'all get what y'all ask for sooner rather than later.
It makes me sad because I like it when it’s serious and it makes you think. I like knowing the answer but I also like figuring it out because I find it fun. I wish that there was a way to read Nasu’s thoughts and ideas without him having to think about how the fanbase would react. I like complex stuff and simple stuff can be fun too but not if it’s always simple and never makes you think.
I just hope that if they takes too long time to reveals information, that this can mean that we'll see a trailer of a Remake of Fate route of Fate/Stay Night very soon.
I might not be so knowledgeable about the nasuverse as a whole (my knowledge is more of an fan rather than a nerdy fan), but one question that got me once i discovered it was that ORT is sleeping on the south america essentially making south america the most dangerous place to anyone live, it is simple but complex my question, how the south america got colonized by the europeans being that ORT was there?.
I need to know how is an magus who lives on south america be like and also if there is one, along with the countries of the south america be like with ORT present, idk if my questions are relevant to the lore of the nasuverse as a whole because i am wondering because i am both wondering about how is brazil (bcz i am brazilian, trust me when i say that on some countries is hard to get more info on the nasuverse and brazil is included on this) portrayed in the nasuverse and also because of more information on other continents/countries on the nasuverse (we so far have some information in some cities or countries like fuyuki which had some holy grail wars or the USA from which his government knows about the magical world)

I think he doesn't hold the info, he legit didn't write the stuff we don't have. We don't have have Crimson Moon vs Zelretch because he didn't write the fight and perhaps never will. We don't know the other true magics because he left open in case he needs it. He din't wrote archer Herc because honestly he probably didn't design him. The thing is type moon fans got true hung up on shit early type moon said out of their asses becuase they didn't had the money to actually do stuff.
About the data mines like draco that's no point on releasing them. The animation probably sucks. Draco was redone using the Arcade art direction and the data mine was probably something different

Even gilgamesh was never to have pale skin blond hair and red eyes, he should look similar to Solomon's design with at least blond hair tan or brown skin and red hair, like ereshkigal alter Ninkigal, but i feel like due to racism they would never do that if u look at his actual lore u would survive that climate in Babylonia non of the villagers had pale skin outside of servants and our main characters
