WELCOME TO THE COLTS !!!!!
Ad>diggs
Congrats! I was looking at him for the Jags but yall got him in a great spot
“You don’t have to teach him how to run routes you just have to refine his route running” let coach Reggie Wayne Cook !
I trust Steve’s scouting for WR more than anyone. The man is a PROFESSIONAL. Oozes experience and wisdom, and gives brutally honest takes. Respect Steve!
Same but he's not perfect just like anyone else. I'm still mad about him saying Mingo would be good for us and he's just butt cheeks.
@bayodaman To be fair, Mingo was being criminally misused. "This is what you're great at, but we're going to have you do the opposite"
I literally watched every single wide receiver video you guys dropped except this one and it’s the one the Colts drafted. I just didn’t think we’d be able to get him. LFG!
Steve Sr's analysis of wide receivers are second to none. He really needs to bring someone's staff as coach or executive director of player personnel.
That's what I've been saying...he probably makes way more money doing what he's doing
I think he just is enjoying what he is doing now, probably making good money doing exactly what he wants to do.
Steve tell the editor to use noise reduction!!! That ring was crazy
That Fresh Prince shirt is HARD! Salute to you SSS
It Slaps for sure
It's the hat though!!!
Welcome to Indy!!
AD moves like Ceedee Lamb in Tee Higgins body
Yup totally agree. He's somewhere between the 2 cuz he definitely doesn't have tee's hands or ceedees routes/yac, but he's got great movement for a tall receiver.
Steve Smith has been right about so many prospects the past few years. He’s even been right about the players he said weren’t gonna be that good.
Adonai is better than Marvin Harrison and Rome odunze
@@123shoshanRome can't separate for the life of him
And he was 100 percent correct about zay flowers too
@@Andrew-vy1jnBeing dominant in contested catch situations doesn’t mean he can’t separate. He does. Check out his Reception Perception profile.
😂😂 Stop it.

Thank you Mr. Smith for the Mitchell Redu. Much Respect Sir. So while I'm here I will share my favorite Steve Smith moment. Oct.12th Thursday Night Football. Denver @ Kansas City. Your exchange with Jerry "Don't call me JAG " Juedy was priceless.
Steve is an excellent teacher and would make a great WR coach.
He’s got gm potential
Keep making these videos and your going to get 500K Subscribers keep up the great work!!! Yall keep dropping that Wide Receiver content the channel gonna sky rocket!
Love the podcast, as a former receiver myself Steve is by far the most knowledgeable source for breaking down receivers and how they will pan out in the league. Looking forward to more content!
Mitchell has played GREAT against Bama all of his 3 years, he is arguably the best contested catcher in this draft
Is agree he’s a dog but saying that when Rome is in this draft is crazy
@@chrism.2674yall gassing rome
Rome caught 66 percent of his contested catches and led the nation in contested catches. Not sure how literally stating what is a fact, is “gassing”
Rome Odunze and Keon Coleman pretty damn good
@@lososcotti926Texas fan here, Mitchell was awesome for us but Rome 2 years in a row caught everything against us.
Go on my fellow, Ute!
love seeing you Steve Smith Sr
Big fan of the of the Q&A that’s good work!
Congrats on 100k guys
It’s funny, whenever someone asks me my favorite receiver I’ve had had the pleasure to watch in my life…
… it’s always Steve Smith. Took Jake Delhomme to a SB 😅
Adonai Mitchell better
congratulations on your success hope more to come!!
I hope you do Coleman next, cause i feel his tape gonn be misleading due to FSU usage of him
Boy I can’t wait for the Travis Hunter film review next year
His ankle breaking abilities is just... nasty.
Hunter probably makes the switch to corner fulltime for the NFL. Would be dope if he was still a 2 way player ala Charles Woodson
Depends what position he chooses
@@ianmichael3912 he chooses......BOTH
@@rulesyafacehe has more potential as a wr
Congratulations gentlemen.
Love the channel
Thanks, we appreciate the support!
Big time Ravens fan, and new subscriber! Steve, love your insight and takes. Thanks for recommending Zay last year, he’s the real deal.
Dont change Steve keep telling it like it is sir.
My guy 💯 keep grinding and working
Only person that I look forward to see these from
Steve be winning me the big money on fantasy football. I’m ready for next season 🤞🏾
your tee game undefeated, Steve
100k subscribers now fix the audio issue brother 🙏
One of my observations is that a large part success in NFL comes down to personal drive and commitment to be great. Is there any indicators or flags on film that you look for when evaluating prospects that might indicate low work ethic or commitment to their craft?
Great stuff guys. Steve could you please do a breakdown on Ricky Pearsall. I'm not hearing much hype but I really like what I see and wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the 2nd round. I see some Adam Thielan and Jayden Reed in his game. Thanks!
GO COLTS! Great video gentleman !
Roman Wilson, Ricky Piersall, Javon Baker. Would love to see any of those broke down
I subscribed just on youe analysis of jailin Hyatt....lets go big blue!!!
Love hearing this stuff from someone that actually played the position. What’re the thoughts on Malik Washington?
Steve, you were hilarious today. Thank you.. 😅
Hey Steve, big fan and believer in your analysis, could you break down Troy Franklin at Oregon as from a raw speed and production point of view he seems extremely underrated. My question with Troy being do you see him struggling with running the route tree or him being seen as purely a vertical threat. As well as, do you think Oregon's style of offense and competition helped hide some of his possible short comings? Thanks for all the great content!
Can u do a video on Xavier legette
Congrats on the 100 K, but can you do a breakdown of Keon Coleman. I would love to see it I like the guy and I trust your opinion Steve.
Interesting that Steve thinks Skyy Moore can still be a WR2/3. Hoping he puts it together
Should be easy with the chiefs wr room unless they make some big moves
Ya… he gets me all excited for Mitchell then talks up draft-bust sky Moore. That worries me lol
@@brianradant2885 He hyped up Mingo too
@@MaadhatsOnTwitchwas right about Puka and Tank Dell though
@rojofish504 I understand you aren't gonna get everyone right. Puka is a huge W but real ones new Tank was a baller. Analytic guys were the ones who said stay away from Dell
As a long-time Colts fan (since 1995), I'm grateful A.D. Mitchell fell to us in the second round. He's an exceptional WR, and I see the same fluidity in his route running that NFL scouts drool over about Malik Nabers. Plus, like Steve Smith Sr. mentioned. Mitchell has blazing speed to pair with his superior route running and excellent hands. 🎉🏈🎉
Question for steve, who are your top 3 wrs that would be a good fit for Carolina ?
Thank you finally someone finally giving Mitchell some respect. I got mad respect for Worthy game as well.
1 is slow and 1 cant catch
What you mean finally? Bro only has 3 games with more than 3 receptions. Thats fucking criminal
Watch Kollmans video on him
Fr he’s been my wr5 for a while now
@@laserchiefwankoo204Who? Worthy?
Are you going to do a deep dive on Polk from Washington
Hi Steve, have you gotten the chance to break down the film for Travis Hunter?:Do you like him as a WR or a DB or both in the NFL?
Meh
I couldn’t believe the Colts traded back and still got Mitchell in the 2nd round
If only by miracle that Mitchell drops to the 2nd rd ... Jags need to take him ASAP!!!
#DUUVVAAL🏈🔥
Can you please do a video on Tahj Washington?
because of you i'm draftign him on madden
Steve Smith, what do you do while I receive this camp for the upcoming draft like all the rest of the greatest like you God bless you.
Steve, Rome doesn't look like he gets great separation in college, but he had a fantastic contested catch rate. How do you think this translates to the NFL? Hopkins seems like a good comp, how do you think that compares and do you see challenges to his game translating to the NFL with less separation than the other premium WRs in this draft?
Steve Smith can you deep dive into Malik Washington. I'm interesting in hearing your perspective on this man.
I have a question that Steve would like. We always see first-round receivers with great physical gifts not pan out, so I wonder, What guidance would you give a young receiver to help him develop and maintain an edge in the "chess match" so they can process and react effectively? AKA What is the blueprint for relying on your mind to be your most powerful tool on the field?
Congrats on 100k! Here is my rankings of the wr class, from 5-10 I am very clouded, I can't get a good feel of who is the best of those guys and who is the worst, what do you think?: 1.) MHJ 2.) Nabers 3.) Odunze 4.) Brian Thomas 5.) AD Mitchell 6.) Keon Coleman 7.) Troy Franklin 8.) Xavier Worthy 9.) Xavier Legette 10.) Ladd
How much does offensive scheme and playcalling come into changing one team's big board for WRs (specifically) vs another's? Do some teams look at Malachi Corley, for example, and say "We don't run screens that much, so he slips farther down our board despite his talent."
Love to see this. Top 3 I want to see a deep dive on 1. Rome Odunze 2. Troy Franklin 3. Roman Wilson
Massively agree with these, been slamming the table about Troy Franklin, Roman Wilson and Ricky Pearsal since last year
AD is loved at UGA and Texas. I'm sure he'll be loved wherever he ends up in the NFL too. I think he'll be more of a role player as a rookie as he works on his craft but he'll show up in big moments.
Can yall do an analysis on Xavier Legette and Brenden Rice 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾... they both look the party, but not ranked very high.. what's ur input??
Steve, for bigger bodied, physical receivers who usually aren’t the best route runners, is that really a issue? How difficult is it to develop a diverse tree and what is more valuable to you?
When is Steve Smith going to do a break down video of Xavier Worthy
how do you guys get the college film
Y’all gotta check out Jamari Thrash! I would LOVE to see what you think about him!!
I’m a die hard Colts fan how do you feel about Briam Thomas Jr where do you rank him against all the WRs in this draft and do you think the Colts can get him with the 15 overall pick
found out today he an ex-baller and only started playing football in [HS] Sophmore year.. raw. sky's the limit!
What wide receiver do you think would be a good fit for the Texans at 23?
A fat, slow one. Go Horse! Our rivalry will define the NFL over the next decade!
Odunze did get open in the Michigan game Penix just didn’t get him the ball.
I think he has that dog in him like the Great Steve Smith Sr!
Blows my mind that we got him at 52. I 100% believe that he can pass Pittman as WR1.
He gives me Martavius Bryant vibes for me and I love it as a steelers fan😂
If steve smith says it then it is legit. He was right about quinten Johnson being a bust and was overall right by the others he analyzed. I wouldn’t mind my panthers drafting Adonai Mitchell
I'd agree with Steve's comments on Rome not playing against top competition. Outside of Michigan, the highest graded corner he played was Khyree Jackson. To be fair to Rome though, he is part of why Khyree's draft grade dropped. With Arizona, Utah, and Oregon State it was the pass rush that caused problems for opponents, not the DB's.
Brian Thomas Jr review next
Very very soon
@@cuttoit….
Keon Coleman is gonna be a steal can yu please do a breakdown on him !! Respect to you && value yo option Mr. Triple Crown
I’m a little confused Steve. Michigan has one of the best defenses in college football and he dominated. He had 90 yards but he also had 50 or so more yards called back for penalty and an overthrow from penix
If Steve Smith says he’s good, odds are he’s right. Colts got a stud in the late rounds for sure.
Brian Thomas Jr please Steve. Huge chiefs fan but you’re my favorite WR all time! I know ball
I would love to have one of BTJ, Mitchell, Franklin or Coleman on the chiefs
Can you do a deep dive on Xavier legette from South Carolina? As a Carolina fan I know our offensive coordinators and quarterback play hasn’t been great during his tenure so his stats were horrible for 3 years. At his size, speed, and contested catch ability I can’t see him not being good at the next level
He called him a dog one of the steals of the draft
On madden that boy speed a 97 on ultimate team lol
Congrats on Legette staying home in Carolina playing for the Panthers! Hope he can help you guys.
praying that the ravens draft him r1
Nah bro y'all are gonna get Coleman or Franklin. My Chiefs are gonna take this young man and are gonna terrorize this league next year🤣 I feel bad for anyone who supports another team.
Can you break down Ladd McConkey
Not the Hunderd ThouWoow 😂😂😂
When Steve Smith talks, I listen. What Steve Smith says? I believe.
I don’t have him above AD, but I think Polk will be a great pick in R2. Hoping my Chiefs get them both and hit a tackle or DT in round 3… look out NFL 👀
STEVE SMITH you gotta do DLO HARDY NORTH CENTRAL BEST D3 WIDE RECEIVER PROSPECT ❤️❤️❤️SHOW THE LOVE EVERYWHERE!!!!!!
Why is Steve's audio so bad?
Happy to see my guy Coley win.
We need Odunze and Troy Franklin next plus McConkey and Worthy
I hope he turns out to be awsome in the NFL. If Beane picks him tomorrow at 33 he'll look a genius. Many mock drafts had the Bills taking him at 28 so they get him at 33 and they get some draft capital. Better potential for drafting players that can help the team.
Smitty I like Mitchell, and Thomas from LSU for the Ravens
The Bills need a wide receiver. If Mitchell is available he might be headed up here. I like Leggett more, but I'm just a fan.
What About Keon Coleman Steve ? Is Speed Really A Problem For Him? Do You Think He Will Fall To End Of The 1st Round Where The Baltimore Ravens Are Able To Grab Lamar Another Weapon ?
I need Smitty to list his top 5! I buy alot of stock in what he says
Can anyone else hear that persistent ringing in the background? Good video but that was audio issue made it almost unwatchable
If I am a young receiver I want to go to Kansas to learn, but you have to get out of there once you learn, because they don't pay... Unless you're dominant.
Paying pat all that money they can’t😭 and it’s backloaded so it’s only gonna get worse. Cus they line getting better ( gotta get paid) and same as their defense . Fortunately, by then Kielce will be gone and probably Chris jones (assuming they keep him and release sneed this year)
Steve where you get your shirts bro?????
what receiver would fit in on the falcons?
Yall shouldn’t be draft wrs early on yall have way more pressing issues
@@Mokutekeyou don’t know the Falcons then cause going into the offseason Drake London the only WR on the roster. QB, EDGE, WR, CB
Atlanta needs a burner. Ideally I’d say Nabers but Worthy wouldn’t be a bad pick either.
I’d like Tahj Washington with a later pick.
@@Angrychef-jx8bp you have enough weapons on offense you don’t need to draft a Wr you should get WRs in free agency and use the pick on a qb or on defense
As a Pat fan, I’ve accepted that we can’t draft WRs at all Why is that? Scheme(McDaniels era), scouting/ projection, or coaching?
Surprised he hasn’t done Xavier Worthy breakdown yet
I need you to do Javon baker
Rome Odunze had a 67% contested catch rate and tracks the ball in the air better than any WR in this class. He is going to run the 40 faster than a lot of people think he will I would take him on my team but he’s no Malik Washington
Steve opinion on sky moore has disqualify almost everything
Ladd McConkey next please!!!
