Maybe they were tired It's been along tour plus the long plane ride back and forth to Auckland NZ.. Hopefully they are will rested when they start touring in the US again in March.
What a disappointing setlist, in my opinion. All the songs are great of course, but this is just a mix of songs that dont compliment each other enough to make the setlist dynamic all around, also not very much of a mix from all tool releases. Im sure it was an amazing fucking show none the less and im spiteful they seem to be skipping albuquerque, nm alltogether this tour!! Wtf?! Sold out venues last two times they played here, whats the problem?? Pisses me.off to constantly see phx, az then, denver, co then,,, san antonio, tx! Which is why throughout the album you hear stuff similar to previous songs.

Dude, I did GA first night and seated with friends the second. Have to say I'm never doing GA for TOOL ever again. I mean I came back from GA thinking it was the best show i'd been to, then the second night just blew me away. I got to headbang, air drum/guitar in absolute comfort. Amazing, just fucking amazing, I'm getting chills listening to this and reliving every moment. Bless this community

I was at this show, Im not a big fan of 7empest, I feels to much like a jam to me session as opposed to a well written song. However, hearing it live really changed my opinion and I feel like I "get" the song now. That was the highlight of the show for me.

Ah yes I was there too. We were quite lucky to get parabol/parabola because I had talked to two people who went to the show on the 28th (the first day) and they were disappointed to only get Schism from the Lateralus album. Plus, 7empest was awesome!

Bit dudded on the set list compared to the Melbourne show. We got all these, plus Vicarious and The Pot...Maynard must’ve needed a kip.

NZ was the only place where they did the extended Schism and Stinkfist during their latest OZ/NZ tour. Lucky bastards.
Can't speak for other shows but can tell you for certain that they did in Dallas on 1/22.
They still didn't play The Pot both nights, and that's their biggest song here. was pretty gutted but atleast they played 46&2 the second night.
